Hunter seemed to care about getting to the root of the problem, and not just insisting I need to just replace it (unlike the previous folks I’ve used)! He was knowledgeable, courteous, and explained everything so I could understand. Highly recommend this company.

This was my second estimate after my A.C. was hit by lighting. It was well below the first and was explained step by step. The young man who came out was very polite and professional. My A.C. was up and running in no time. I would recommend to anyone in need of heating and air conditioning services.
The last thing you want is your A/C to go out at the beginning of summer, especially with indoor animals and the cost on your mind. A/C went out Monday, and I started making a list of all the HVAC businesses in the middle GA area, then started reading reviews across FB, Yelp, and Google. Narrowed it down to two. On Wednesday, I made the call. 1st Choice was 1st on my list and was also recommended by a friend, so I called them, Hannah answered and listen to me ramble on like a madwoman, she calmly talked me through it and said that she would get the team out there ASAP, which would be tomorrow (Thursday). Greg and Garrett showed up, listened to my findings, and immediately got to work. Found out that it was my furnace. Greg kept me informed, went over my options, and was real with me the entire time. Once a decision was made, he said that Stevi would reach out to me on the next steps, financially. Sure enough I got a text right away, walking me through things, and then stated they had the parts in stock and could have them back out here next day! Talk about relief. Greg showed up with Hunter in the morning and they got to work! Greg went over with me some additional questions that I had, maintenance plans/check up frequency, and reassured me that everything was good to go and any questions, to call. Not once did I ever feel pushed over or targeted because I am a female. 1st choice will literally be my first choice for HVAC from here on out.

Had to have my central ac replaced. Jojo and Bruno were fast and very professional. Damien came the day before and was super great and was able to get us a fair rate for the replacement. Super happy with 1st Choice. Would highly recommend.
I texted Mike on a Thursday morning & he came to look at our AC that same afternoon! He saved our lives by detecting a gas smell that i was unaware of & discovering that our hot water heater was not ventilating! He even checked the carbon monoxide level in our home before leaving. Quickly fixed our AC & charged a fair price!! Would recommend 1st Choice to everyone!!
New review! Today 1st Choice Heating and Air installed a new air handler fors us. I could not be happier. This is a great company to deal with. Excellent service. Today Greg Harper and Garrett did the install. They were on time, worked hard (no slacking). Very nice people. I have never been dissappointed with service. If you need anything done to your heating or cooling system, these are the people to use. Professional, knowledgeable and just nice. When service was done, they cleaned up area.
This company was such a find, and I'm so thankful to them for helping us out. We called them Tuesday morning, they sent out Greg the same day since he was in the area. He was very professional and extremely helpful in the amount of information he gave us to help our decision on what to do. We ended up getting a new condenser and coil on our old unit and they were able to schedule us for the very next day for install. We were up and running almost 24 hours after the first call and that was with replacement and install. They were super professional and very honest and I would highly recommend them to anyone needing anything with HVAC. We have used other companies locally and never had a proper solution to our problem until these guys gave us one. We've been having problems with our old R22 system freezing up and running hot air for the last 2 summers. Previous companies told us the only thing to do was replace the entire system because new systems couldn't use existing stuff. We were in search of R22 since the other companies said R22 is discontinued and they do not have any in stock, you must replace your unit. On calling 1st Choice, they confirmed they had what we needed and would come do a service as requested. When Greg showed up, he allowed us the option of continuing to limp the system along by adding more r22 freon, while informing us of the possibility of it not holding the whole summer since every year our leak is actually getting worse. We feared the extremely large quote on a new system, like we had been given from other companies in the past, but we allowed him to just let us know our options. He was able to give us an option that no one had given, at a fraction of the price. He also included the little things in the quote so we didn't have to worry about them, like the new pad the unit will sit on and the safety switches that were missing and needed to be back to code. Called for a HVAC system pre season inspection, appointment made for next day. Service Tech came out early, listened to my request, very polite/courteous and knowledgeable. Assessed two systems in minimum time, made recommendations and after confirmation of desired repairs, corrected issues he discovered. Very happy with Greg Harpers’ demeanor and highly recommend he assist us in the future.
