We’ve used this company for a little over a year. We had a maintenance appointment scheduled for next week, but then had an emergency issue last night, which was a Friday. I submitted an appointment request online around 10:30pm, and they called me at 8:01am, one minute after they opened. I was very relieved with the response time, especially on 12 hours notice on a Saturday in July. Joseph was really nice and patient with me in explaining everything that was going on. They also texted me a photo of the technician ahead of time, along with a live tracker to see exactly when he’d be here. Very pleased.
Mike was very professional and showed attention to detail in fixing our AC unit. I am a quadriplegic, mostly homebound, and he was a very sensitive and attentive to my needs in getting our AC repaired in this summer heat.
One of my AC units went out on the 04 July holiday weekend. Learned of PV Heating&Air via a positive referral from Decatur Moms. Called 4 HVAC companies and PV was the only company with techs available to come out on a Sunday. The rep arrived at the appointed time and was able to complete the repair with a fair price. I am grateful and much cooler today than yesterday. Would definitely recommend PV and use them again.

Always a pleasure to speak to the PV team and they will do right by you. James H came out to see if I needed to replace an AC unit and instead of making an easy sale, he identified a few things to tweak and the 20 year old unit, probably now has an extra year. Really appreciate them doing the right thing for their customers. Will definitely buy a new unit from them when the time comes

I have been using them for years and they keep my a/c and heating running w/o problems. Yesterday I came home to find my A/c wasn’t working and it was 90 degrees out. I called and they sent someone out w/in hours. Leo fixed it and said it was covered under warranty. Great service.
Just spent $580 to replace a capacitor. Took him 10 minutes to replace, took about an hour total for the visit. It was an emergency same day service, so I had a feeling my price would be inflated, but certainly did not expect it to cost this much, nor do I think it is reasonable. Our tech then quoted us another $500 to replace the contactor, which is apparently going bad. Also tried to sell us into a “membership”. Trying not to take this personally because sometimes businesses are like this but definitely left a sour taste in our mouths.
Russell was our tech and he was very professional. I would highly recommend PV . Awesome service .

I highly recommend Joseph (HVAC Tech) at PV Heating and Air. Joseph was very professional and knowledgeable. He went above and beyond to make sure I received the best service possible. I lost power to my 2bd floor AC unit and Joseph rushed back out to my house to fix the problem after hours. Keep up the good work and great service. Michael Council
