Had to replace battery for my generator. Also yearly maintenance.
On 9/20/18 Aaron was out for a routine service checkup. Our new unit was installed a year ago, right after the hurricane passed thru the area. Aaron was early for the appointment which worked in our favor. He was very polite, offering a drain line cleaner service but wasn't pushy. He checked everything out in a timely manner and even reminded me to reset the thermostat to my needs. Thanks to AQC for the professionalism shown throughout the process.
The tech was very knowledgeable and was quite pleasant to work with. He made every effort to correct our problem and thus far it seems our goals have been achieved. Thanks,

Anthony, the Tech, was prompt, knowledgeable, personable and knew his product.
Unfortunately when it comes to tankless gas water heater these fellas are pretty useless. Which is disappointing because they are listed as Rinnai tankless water heater experts on the manufacturer’s website. Very disappointing experience. After 3 different techs, 2 different appointments over 4 days of my tenants not having hot water, they couldn’t figure it out. All of the staff with the exception of the new guy and the receptionist were useless. The owner talks a big game like he’s going to get things done, but ultimately his techs are either incapable or just don’t care. After AQC took me for $750 and left me high and dry with no solution, I ended up changing out the ignition rod myself and got the job done for $35 worth of parts off of Amazon. Unfortunately I cannot recommend AQC and would advise others be cautious.
Wayne in the office and Dale my technician did a great job again. Even with all the supply chain issues, Wayne was able to source a new condenser under warranty. He called me several times to assure me he was working on it! Dale as always did a great job, he installed it just yesterday. I highly recommend Air Quality Control! Sean Youngjohn St. Pete Fl
When I first moved into my house Air Quality installed a new a system which I had for almost 18 years. When it was time for new system, I went to AQ again and I've been delighted. I cannot say enough good things about Dale Forminsky, one of their service technicians. Recently during a storm surge, the blower on my air handler went out and I had to have a new one installed. Because I had purchased the 10-year warranty package the cost of the part and installation was covered. It appeared at first that the part would have to be ordered and would take several days to arrive. Dale went back to the store even though the inventory said zero, he looked around for it and sure enough there was one I needed and he came back and installed it the same day. I really appreciate the can-do spirit of AQ and particularly Dale who went above and beyond. Thanks AQ😊👍.
While the technicians themselves were very professional and timely, I unfortunately do not feel that this company has provided adequate service. After being told my problem was resolved during two separate service calls, I’m still experiencing the same issue with my A/C. Both my air handler and condenser are 2021 - barely used - so I was confused as to why I’ve been experiencing so many problems. I finally called a different A/C company who helped me identify the very obvious problem within minutes and will be out in the morning to fix it. I’m very surprised that this issue was not caught if the technicians did a thorough inspection of my system. The money that I paid Air Quality Control to resolve the issue was not worth it, in my opinion. I did not enjoy coming home to my house at 90 degrees again for the third time. I’m also extremely disappointed that I am having to take even more time off of work to be home for an A/C repair that should have been handled over 2 weeks ago.
We had a problem with the float valve shutting down our HVAC system. Dale came the next Monday and fixed the problem on our LG mini-split system. He is knowledgable about the mini-split systems. I posted this review a bit prematurely. It is a bit of a long story, but: Dale vacuumed the condensate drain line which made the unit work for one day. He did this as a part of the "preventive maintenance" for $528. I wrote the review. Three days later he returned and vacuumed the condensate line again, noting that it could be the condensate pump failure and worried that access was not possible. They charged me the $98 service fee although on the website it says a 6 month warrantee on drain pipe clean-out. then it turns out that the previous owner of Air Quality Control who installed the system in 2015 placed this unit above the drop ceiling while doing a complete remodel and it is not able to be serviced due to the tight space and a wall underneath it. That voids my warrantee. The current owners bought the company. To make a long story short, the owner's response is "you bought the unit from (previous owner's name) not me. I responded that I bought it from Air Quality Control not (previous owner). He responds We are no longer Air Quality Control INC. Note the Inc. part! I now chalk it up to tuition in the school of hard knocks. I am going to a different HVAC company.
Had someone come by to get a quote for a full install. The guy came, looked around for 30 sec, said he's not the right guy to quote a job, and ask me to call the owner. I called the owner "Rick" and he said I would need to pay for a energy report before they would quote me. The tech didn't take pictures and just left. Don't waste your time, call someone else for a quote. Edit to reply: That is correct that I currently have window shaker units. It was communicated that I needed a full AC system install with duct work when making the appointment, not sure how that was a surprise when the tech arrived. I told the tech that I have access to the attic space and a ladder set up, alternatively I had pictures of the attic space as well, those options were refused. I'm aware of the manual J requirement for a permit, but yours is the only company to refuse to provide any sort of estimate without it. Unless you've only been in the business for a few weeks, you should be able to make at the very least an educated guess about what I'll need for the purposes of a quote. I also told the tech exactly what I wanted and what others were quoting. Finally, don't blame your lack of diligence on a fabricated lack of willingness from my end. Your tech left without taking more than 2 steps inside and said it was pointless to take pictures of anything. If I could give less stars, I would.
This company is wonderful and cannot recommend them enough! We had issues with our air conditioning and had a different company come out Friday of Memorial weekend and said the problem was fixed but later Friday night we discovered it was still pumping out warm air. I called Air Quality Saturday morning and got a call back in 2 minutes from the owner, Victor. He sent his tech out and then eventually went out himself and figured out a tricky problem after being patient enough to watch our unit run for 20-30 minutes, went back to his shop to get a part, drove back out to our house and had our unit working by Saturday evening! Air Quality went ABOVE & BEYOND to help us on a holiday weekend. These guys are our go-to HVAC guys from here on out. I am so thankful I found them and highly recommend.
The repair man was excellent . He was knowledgeable and professional. He was able to figure out the issue and fix the problem within 15 minutes. He waited for the air to be going down and make sure I was comfortable with him going. I would recommend them to anyone. 5 stars
They dont take any ownership of thier problems. Had an AC issue where it was freezing up. Called these guys based on reviews and they came out. Paid the $100 plus the additional charge for what they said they would fix my AC unit. Less than a month later I'm having the same issue and now when I call them they said it's not their problem and won't call me back or respond when i called to have them come back out and take a look.
Came out on Sunday, prior to our Mother's day celebration. John was courteous, professional, and did a fantastic job. We recommend him and the company highly! Thank you so much for your prompt and effective response.
Had a stand by generator issue, called made appointment. Making and scheduling a service/ repair call was so easy. They were prompt, very knowledgeable and respectful, explained the issue. I recommend Air Quality! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
They were very professional and we thought we would have to wait til July for our AC to be replaced because of ordering but they had the system we wanted in stock and got to it the next day after giving us an estimate on our Condo AC unit replacement... They were very thorough and explained everything... We definitely chose the right Company
I had Air Quality Control come out to inspect our ductwork. The technician was on time, professional & extremely pleasant. He went out of his was by cleaning the a/c filter for me. It’s almost time for a new unit. Air Quality Control will definitely get the contact.
