I purchased 4 units from Palm Bay air and would never ever allow them on my property again. When we call for warranty work they always charge a service call then want $280.00 for freon that "is needed to test for leaks" . They delay repairs saying a part is on back order. Three weeks later they come and don't replace the part and want to bill for another call saying it was working when the tech was there. Called another contractor who showed that they never replaced the defective part that we waited 3 weeks for. Criminal or Incompetent is my feedback. Run it's bait and switch.

I would love to give Palm Bay Air and Heat 5 stars. In my home, my central a/c stopped working. It was after 8 pm, In the house, it was showing 95 degrees. My 90-year-old mother and two elderly aunts were in the home. I asked my neighbor if she could recommend someone to fix my A/C, and she recommended Palm Bay Air and Heat. I called the phone number and Andrea picked up the phone. I explained my situation, she was determined to solve the problem. I was so nervous but Andrea was very reassuring that everything would work out fine. She said someone would be available between 9 pm to 11 pm. I was so grateful that someone would be able to come out so late. Andrea was so nice and very professional. She had a great sense of humor, she made me so comfortable I felt like I knew her for years. A few minutes after speaking with Andrea, I received a call from the technician Travis, and Andrea was also on the phone. They called to tell me that the technician was 5 to 10 minutes away. I started screaming with joy. Andrea was so happy as well. We were laughing together. A short time later Andrea called me back with great news ...the problem could be fixed right away. There we go again, screaming with laughter. I am so grateful for Palm Bay Air and Heat. Thank you Palm Bay Air and Heat for your professionalism and excellent customer service skills.

I have purposely delayed this review until all details and facts were available. Start by saying RUN , don't walk from this company!!- 7 March 2023, no A/C, 8 March, tech arrived added freon and accomplished PM ?? ( Unsure of maintenance actions completed) while here, stated unit has freon leak, will send someone else to find leak. Paid just under $500.00 will not accept personal check, had to use credit card which according to work order incurs a 5% additional charge. 9 March 2023 A/c tech arrived to find leak, could not find leak, stated he would come back to perform more thorough leak check. No additional payment required at this time! Did not receive any additional information from anyone until 25 March (saturday)when A/C stopped cooling (89 degrees) called office , was told a $ 89.00 service call would be charged, even though had not returned from previous service calls. We waited until Monday and tech returned , found leak on line set under concrete house foundation, need to run new line set , but will have to route through attic at cost of $1400.00 with 50% due before ordering parts, 28 march (Tuesday)personally delivered $700.00 Cash to office to avoid credit fee, (always a bad idea) .............. End result... After a few more calls , got $ 700.00 returned. Meantime , had A/C repaired by competent company , at less than 1/2 the amount PBA&H was going to charge !! HAS BEEN ALMOST A MONTH AND A/C works fantastic NOTE:: the line they wanted to run WAS NOT the problem !! Enough Said, hope this helps others make an informed decision.

Came to my house for a service During this service I watched and have on film them releasing my Freon into the air instead of recapturing it (as per law) Next thing they’re knocking on my door saying I had dirty Freon and needs 1800 worth of Freon they released. BEWARE sounds cheap but there trained to cause or make more problems! This is a 2 year old 4 ton Carrier unit. BE WARNED OF: UP SALES AND DISHONEST PEOPLE

DO NOT USE PALM BAY AIR AND HEAT!!!! They nickel and dime everything extremely rude, they have hung up on me , they didn’t install equipment right and now I have no A/C they told me they were gonna order a new part that’s was under warranty, they never did three weeks later and still no air with 3 children and animals and after calling and calling they told me the never ordered it (after telling us they were waiting for it) the guy said and I quote” mam you can run you’re mouth all you want and I’m still not going to listen” they need to be put out of business. I really wish I would have read more reviews about this place before I even messed with them , I read them now and the reviews are horrific. DO YOURSELF AND FAVOR AND DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!

Palm Bay Air & Heat has always been our go-to for fixing our AC. Last year was the worst experience ever with them. There were delays and back and forth and almost a week to come out, random price increase for leaving a not so positive review (except for the dispatch after hours - they were good) and after that I personally never dealt with them nor my AC issue. Called them again recently for the same issue (it's been years for them to be our 'go to' ...let's just try again before writing them off, yeah?), and everything was different, from the tone, attitude, and responses. I'm not sure what happened last year, but they have redeemed themselves for me. They didn't come out within the time window in the morning (as expected with service calls for almost any field) and I had another appointment, so when I called I was able to get it rescheduled same afternoon (tone was good)! They arrived late after the new time slot, but the MAJOR improvement was that I was called, informed that they were running behind, given an approximation of their new arrival and that they were still going to be able to assist and that I would get the same rate. After the follow-up call to let me know the approximate time they were coming, they were at the house around that time! It was late, but the guys that came out were nice (after what I'm sure was a long day), very knowledgeable, detailed, and diligent. That's respect and customer care... all I could ever ask. I'm not sure what happened last year, but I'm happy they've made whatever changes they did with their customer care. Since PB Air & Heat has worked to improve, so has my review. Please keep it up. Very disappointing service, tech was great, but hands tied as to what he could do. Charged me holiday (Martin Luther King Day)for a service call, when the tech said it was a regular day for them. Regular service fees do not match what's advertised. Determined Heat Pump was low on freon, Added 2 pounds at $80/Lb said there may be a leak but would not, could not check was not allowed. No Repair, just a band-aid. Said I had to schedule another service call for a leak check which would cost an additional $160 yes, that would include Freon IF needed. The Techs had the equip on the truck, could have checked when they were there and had the tools on the truck. BS....Just another way to jilt the customer, Nickle and dime operation

Friendly customer service when I phoned for appointment. Very informative/knowledgeable. She had someone out quickly and at my convenience since I work full time. Jimmy S., service tech was amazing! He was on time, answered all my questions, and then some. Did great work. My air is blowing cooler than ever, and my bill deceased $30 in 1 month! Their routine service charge to keep our overworked Florida air conditioners running efficiently, is one of the cheapest, and most thorough around!

Bunch of thieves don’t leave valuables around or anything that’s worth them getting there hands on. One of their employees stole a pair of $35 work gloves…… out of the car garage at the house me and my family were staying at in Palm Bay.

They sold my mother a Yorke unit brand new . It's about a year old now, but she had nothing but problems with this unit , they've been out 8-10 times to replace major parts in it. Yet it keeps breaking down! They should just give her a new unit! And if they don't I will be getting a lawyer after them! It put my grandmother's out of her home twice in a months time and she's on hospice! Just ridiculous!

0 stars-absolutely awful company. Never on time, rude people who answer the phones, no communication about what they are ‘doing’ to repair the system they installed, I had to call several times to get an invoice and only when I threatened to dispute the credit card charges did I get a handwritten work order. I asked them to come BACK out this past Thursday night and NO ONE showed. Called 1st thing Friday to have them come back out and to meet me at 5 pm. Again no one showed until 9:30 pm and then the tech was not courteous, did not introduce himself and did who-knows-what to the inside unit before sitting in his air conditioned truck while the house was nearly 90 degrees. I eventually locked up and shut off the lights to spend the night elsewhere and that’s when he finally got out of his truck to chase down my fiancé to request a signature. I sat in the car because I was nearly in tears and completely overwhelmed with this debacle. 6 trips in 4 weeks from Palm Bay Air and still my AC isn’t fixed!! Charged me but never gave me anything to show what they supposedly did…just work orders never signed by me. Finally called Aire Serv today since they are a York AC system dealer and it’s the BEST decision I made!! Their lead installer Neal found the leak and the problem part in 1 1/2 hours!!! Palm Bay Air 👎👎👎👎👎👎 Aire Serv 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍 From the 1st contact with Anna on the phone to the text message, with photo!!, of the tech scheduled to come out, to the text when Neal was on his way, equipped with an iPad to take pictures and take payment, has been 1st class professional with Aire Serv. I HIGHLY recommend Aire Serv and seriously discourage anyone from using Palm Bay Air. Stay cool everyone!

If possible to give zero stars that is what they perform like..no urgency,no care, no response, and no sollutions.I spent 8 days on the phone and was never given a solution to getcmycsystem that was under warrantee operational. The final straw was when my brother called to see if he get an answer and was put on hold for 75 minutes while a person in the office said she was working on getting us an answer. While he was on hold I called and asked for a response and waS told that all the employees had left for the day!!for the day!!! You can't make this up. ..during the week I asked repeatedly to speak to the owner.....no response...it shows that the lack of leadership from ownership goes right through this organization! This is a poorly run company that's actions are highly suspect and in no way is a customer friendly company.....run don't walk to another AC provider
