They showed up today for a $100 service diagnosis and wanted to charge me $480 more to spend 10 minutes putting in a different thermostat. I was across town, and when I got to the house they left it wired in the condition pictured. Rather than putting it back the way it was, they maliciously put it in an unknown arrangement with the breaker on so that I cannot put a new thermostat on. They refuse to send me the picture my tenant saw them take of the original wiring. I've never experienced such outright unprofessionalism and I will be filing a formal complaint with the BBB and contacting my lawyer if there are additional damages found as a result.
Year two with this unit installed by AmeriTech and yet ANOTHER issue. Despite the numerous issues, AmeriTech wants to continue to profit off each visit despite their ability to provide a reliable A/C unit. I highly recommend you seek another company before ending up in such a position. AmeriTech takes advantage of its customers and positioning and is not trustworthy. EDIT: After reading several other reviews, it seems Ameritech may be running a SCAM. If you feel you've been wronged by this company too, please reach out to me. Update: after already replacing the blower motor, the unit now has a refrigerant leak and a bad capacitor. Ameritech sold a complete lemon or damaged it during installation.
They were able to fit us in right away and were able to get us back up and running. Great service, on time, and great prices. Will be calling them again.
Please call me immediately, I have been without AC for over a month, the manufacturer is telling me that the unit needs to be replaced after I've repaired a coil leak and a line leak, the compressor is shot blowing more than 90 amps, the technician said improper install, and all the wiring and the backup battery was taped inside instead of properly mounted. There is no reason why I have to get a new unit after installing yours 3 years ago. This is crazy.
Ameritech very good company to install your AC unit .. very professional, very on time, and very clean. I was paying $400 a month light bill in a one bedroom condo Ameritech installed my new AC unit ..my light bill drop down to 123 a month go beat that. I'm very happy with them and I highly recommend them
Super happy with Ameritech! They just installed a new, high efficiency system, new ducts, new registers and a new thermostat. First off, this company was recommended to me by a customer of mine. He was super happy with his new system Ameritech installed. I asked him if I could look at his equipment, because I have a background in A/C (sales). Everything I saw was done correctly and cleanly. I asked him for their information, so he gave me Chris Makin’s #, so I called him and scheduled an estimate. Chris arrived on time, answered all of my questions, gave me the quote and applied no pressure. He came back again as I had a few more questions (very good, attentive service on the sales side). Once me and my wife agreed to move forward, Chris came back again so that we could ink the deal. He set us up with a realistic timeframe for installation as some of the materials I requested is not what is normally installed. When awaiting for those materials, Chris stayed in contact and kept us updated. Again, very good service. Once the materials arrived, Chris contacted us to schedule the installation, working with our availability. The installers (Barnabas and Rafael) arrived on time, politely introduced themselves and went to work. First thing I noticed was how they protected our driveway to prevent any possible oil from their vehicles staining the concrete. These little things make a difference and show that they do care about your property! To our surprise, Chris even came by on the day of installation to check in on us and to make sure everything was going smoothly. Not your typical sales person. Once you’ve bought, you usually never see or hear from the sales person again. Not with Chris. This guy is obviously all about good service! I can’t say enough good things about Barnabas and Rafael. Coming from the A/C business, I can tell you that these guys are not only real pro’s, but that they genuinely care about their customers home and doing the job right. They protected
When using this company or any others call goodman to see if the part is covered cuz the tech does not know. I have a 10 year warranty on my goodman and i got charged for a 20 50 dual capacitor being replaced which blew when they were working on it.
AmeriTech has taken care of my AC issues for the second time in a row with lightning speed. Called last night and they came this afternoon promptly. Alex and Kyle were knowledgeable, kind, and efficient. They identified the problem and dealt with it swiftly. Highly recommend.
Great company . Chris Makin came out and explained everything in details about what needed to be done . Spent along time with me and even spoke to my brother on FaceTime to make sure I got what I needed. Came the next day and installed a whole HVAC system . Installer was great. Chris called the next day to make sure I was happy with everything . Couldn’t of asked for a better experience ! Hats off to Ameritech !! On time.. on the job .. professionals from start to finish !
This company is fantastic. We called one afternoon, our salesman, Chris Makin came out that evening and the next day our new ac system was installed by Barnabas. Both were above and beyond professional. We got ! a great price, great service and couldn't be happier. I HIGHLY recommend Ameritech
I had a recent emergency early in the morning when my air conditioner broke down with no cold air. I tried calling Air Flow, my contractor for over 40 years and with whom I have a service contract, but they couldn't get to me until the next day. And, I'm in their record as having a health condition that I can't take the heat. So, when I called Ameritech, with whom I have no previous history, their scheduler immediately decided to help me. Sabrina sent a tech to my home with only a three hour wait. The tech called me and assured me he would get me going. It was just a blown capacitor in the compressor. He also performed a full P/M and changed my filter. I will be switching to Ameritech.
This was not my first time using this business. I scheduled a routine annual AC check up with them which I have done before. The service tech showed up and I knew we had a problem when I had to carry his ladder and tools up the stairs for him as he was physically unable. I figured I would need to stay with him to make sure he was ok and while we are in the attic my doorbell rings....I went downstairs to find a random guy asking for the Ameritech Service Tech that was in my attic. This guy did not work for Ameritech, it turns out the technichian had one of his friends to meet him at my house so he could drop something off and hang out in my driveway during my service appointment. This was totally unprofessional and inappropriate. When the tech was done he quoted me a ridiculously high amount for a repair and left after some quality time with his friend. The real problem is that I called their office 3 days in a row to speak with the owner or their Service Manager with absolutely no response. Finally on the 4th day they called and could not explain the techs behavior nor the amount quoted that was over double what it should have been. I had Rinaldis quote the same work and they were less than half the price. I wanted to discuss a refund for the service call of $89 which they told me they would think about and have never called me back about. Very unprofessional all around.
Once again I will sing the praises of this company. I wouldn't even think to use someone else and I would refer Ameritech to anyone needing assistance with their AC or heating systems. This is the third time Ameritech has come to our rescue. The first was installing our new unit for half the price of their competitors. Next, they came out to do a repair after our roofing company damaged the unit. Last night our blower stopped working. Thanks to Sabrina in the office for squeezing us in quickly. A big thank you to ALEX for his quick and professional service. Seriously, these guys and gals are the best. Reliable, responsible, professional and extremely reasonable prices. This particular visit was covered by just the $79 diagnostic fee! Thanks again Ameritech!!
There aren't enough superlatives to describe the crew at AmeriTech. This is the company you need to hire. Sabrina in the office was phenomenal; courteous and attentive. Kept me up to date throughout the entire repair process. Abdel and Bryan were consummate professionals handling the diagnosis and replacement of my AC system. You can tell these folks care about providing this important service for their customers. People are what drive businesses and AmeriTech has knocked it out of the park with their team. Have been using AmeriTech for years and definitely will continue to do so! Highly recommend!

I called Ameritech Wednesday morning in need of a new AC quick. Chris Makin came out the same day, was extremely professional, thoroughly explained what I needed and took the time to find the right system to fit my needs. The system was installed Friday. The install looked great and the house was left spotless. The Ameritech customer service exceeded expectations, would highly recommend.
I purchased my AC unit from AmeriTech and overall my experience has been great. This week I had a very unusual issue (rats in the unit) and Kent Vaughn showed up (EARLY btw) and went above and beyond what he had to do for this service call. I really appreciate how helpful this company and it's techs\operators have been and will continue to do business with them in the future.
Couldn't be happier with the service provided by Chris Makin and his team. I had to change the date/time of my quote at least twice and Chris was flexible in allowing me to do so. He made sure to work with me to nail down a good time that I'd be available. I had Ameritech install a zoned damper system, with additional thermostat in my two story home, and add 3 returns up stairs. Prior to the system the heating and cooling in the house was really inconsistent, now, it feels like the temp throughout the house is more consistent and heats/cools based on where the temp adjustments is needed. It's helpful that I can now adjust the upstairs and downstairs temperatures separately based on where I am going to be during that time. The installers did a fantastic job. All work looks professional and they made sure to explain operation and what they had done to the system. They cleaned up after themselves really well, even in parts where they had to cut through the drywall. Excellent services provide by Ameritech. Look forward to working with them again.
Derick called ahead to notify me ahead of his arrival. He was professional and verified the system was not reporting any errors but could use some much needed maintenance since it's been 3 years since installation. He performed an extensive cleaning on the system and replaced a part that was showing some wear and tear. Service was thorough and did not take long to complete but was not rushed in any way. He also provided me with some suggestions on routine maintenance to perform to keep the system working. Yet more proof why I went with Ameritech with the HVAC replacement and why I will continue to be a loyal customer.
Chris was very professional and well versed in the company and the products and services that were offered. He took his time and explained the difference between the units and explained the entire process to me. He held my quote and price for 3 months and informed me of all my options. The crew came on time on the day of installation, helped me to load my old unit on to a trailer so I could recycle it myself. The crew was kind, professional and very courteous. They answered all of my questions about the installation. They also cleaned up all installation waste gave me my warranty package. The company also took care of my warranty registration and sent me confirmation emails with city permit and warranty included. Great company!
