Very bad business.
Well, we have been dealing with this noise coming from the roof from one of the compressor, for the past 5 years Unfortunately we don’t recommend this company
Had a big leak in my A/C unit today around 2pm, called Speedy Air who i knew serviced my parents house in the past. Mike was very helpful in being able to accomodate a last minute service. Genaro and his team arrived as soon as they could, and diagnosed that the drain was clogged, and that the bottom compressor that moves the water out was also clogged. After a few cylinders of compressed air were thrown into, and acid used to unclog. They also checked that electrical system was wired correctly, and re did a pipe which was too long and was causing more work to the compressor. Unit was running perfectly again. Would definetly recommned them to anyone with A/C issues.
I was already hot when I called asking for someone to look at my 11yr old 3 ton unit, which had frozen up and did not work when it dried out. Michael came right out to the house and pronounced the fan unit dead, and we discussed my options. I work from home now, so I went with a new replacement unit. Michael went to pick it up and called his team to come out and begin dismantling the old unit. Genaro and Julio came very soon and got started. All three men were polite, friendly, professional and obviously experienced. They took time to answer questions and pet my dog and did a wonderful job! G looked up in the attic to check my ducts, and Julio did a wonderful job caulking, sealing, painting and cleaning up! By 5 pm the house was starting to cool off - blessed relief! I couldn’t believe they got everything done and nice and clean in one day, No muss No fuss! They surely lived up to the name Speedy Air! I’m very happy and cool now. Thanks guys! Great job! The condominium association where I live needed to replace the roofs on two buildings, which meant the ACs needed to be removed and replaced. Unfortunately, AC by Speedy won the bid. Regarding my unit in particular, their incompetence caused my compressor to seize. I was told it was OK to turn the AC back on. Once it was established that the unit turned ON, AC by Speedy left the property. However, the air wasn’t cooling and, of course, AC by Speedy was nowhere to be found. I had to contact another AC company to come out and diagnose the problem. Turns out, AC by Speedy hooked my unit back up without any Freon in it, causing the compressor to overheat and seize up. I didn’t have any issues with my AC before this company moved the unit. I contacted the Association president to report the issue. She, in turn, reported the incident to AC by Speedy. The owner of the company refused to contact me, stating he would look at the unit and leave whatever parts were needed up on the roof. That never happened and the company that diagnosed the problem ended up coming back out to fix the problem AC by Speedy created. If you want it done right by true AC pros, call The A/C Guy, Inc. (which is who I had fix the damage AC by Speedy caused). It may run you a little more money, but the quality of service is worth it. Stay far, far away from AC by Speedy. Their price may be cheap, but you get what you pay for.
LOVE this AC company. They installed my AC a few years ago, and they are amazing when it comes to the normal servicing of it, to keep it in tip top shape. They are on time, clean, fast, honest, and professional. Their customer service /office is also wonderful, and make everything about staying cool easy. This is a must in S. FL, and I highly recommend them.

Locally owned and operated. Owner deals with his customers directly and is constantly running out to help clients in need. Honest, quick to respond and reliable. I had several quotes for new units and this was definitely competitive!
Mike and his crew installed a new system for me back in 2007. When I purchased my new home, I knew that they were the company I'd want to use. The unit was installed quickly and the price was great. I've had no issues! Liked them so much, that we now use them at several of our office buildings as well! Service calls are usually same day and the guys are super nice!
They fixed my ac that's about as positive I can get, they showed up 14 hours after they told me they were gonna show up, with no warning, and then let themselves in the second my SO answered the door, the repairman was hostile and so was the management when I called to voice my complaints.
I completely understand appointments getting backed up and having to push things back or cancel, but maybe tell the person who's waiting on you to come fix their AC? Initial time was after 4pm. At 6:30 I called and was told they got held up and will be another hour. It's past 8:30 now and I'm calling for an update but keep getting voicemail. JUST LET ME KNOW IF YOU'RE COMING OR NOT, PLEASE! UPDATE: After not hearing from them the day before, I left a message stating that I would be available the next day from 6pm to 8pm (so essentially after work). INSTEAD I get woken up by loud knocks on my door around 8am. I literally answer the door in a bathrobe I quickly threw on and it's the AC guy insisting on coming in and fixing it now. There was no phone call, no heads up, just arriving on their schedule to fix it with no regard to anyone else. I'm not thrilled and felt very uncomfortable. When they left, they didn't even tell me what it cost. I legit have no idea. 2 stars because it's fixed. For now.
Honest, reliable, the best!
Air by Speedy is the best! The owner, Mike, is the nicest guy. Initially, Mike repaired our old A/C unit for us buying us time before purchasing a new one. When we were ready, Mike's price on a new unit was reasonable and his company was quick and efficient with the installation. After the installation, he detected and fixed a problem with the duct work that we never knew we had. Our electric bill is down considerably and our house is comfortably cool. I highly recommend Air by Speedy!

We have been repeat customers of years. When it was time for a new unit, we received other companies prices and and found Speedy to be in the averages of the others. Not the cheapest but certainly not the most expensive. After we accepted the proposal it was only one day before we had a new unit fully installed and working like a icebox. our house has never been cooler and it did cut down on our FP&L bill. Speedy has also installed two new units at our dads house in Boca with the same quality install and customer support we have been receiving for over a decade. Thanks Speedy of being a South Florida company that can be relied on!
I've been in this area for awhile and have never found a company I trust. Over the weekend my AC started leaking and a friend referred me to this company. The customer service was amazing! Usually places like AC and Appliance repair have horrible service and never show up when they say. Air by Speedy did. The cost was reasonable too. Mike was great! Thanks!
