My interactions with this particular company have left me deeply dissatisfied with their level of professionalism and reliability. Fast service. The parts needed for my repair were completely unavailable so Jon the owner called supply houses all up the East coast until he located the part. He had it expedited shipped so I wouldn’t be without AC for too long. Highly recommend this company.
I can’t complain about their service HOWEVER… Affordable??? Not really. My unit is a little over 2 yrs old. The first time I called for service I was charged over $200 for a minor fix. The second time I called I thought it wasn’t going to be a major expense because the part was still under warranty. I was charged over $400!!! 🤦🏻♂️ For labor! My unit is still under warranty but I’m afraid to call 😬
Probably the best in the business. I use them personally and i am a home inspector and see issues with HVAC systems and refer my clients to them. They are honest and affordable. Update. September 15, 2022 My AC had a leak after 11 years. This company was there from day one. They recharged the unit but I knew there was a bigger issue. Freon leak. I knew 11 years and the unit was past its life expectancy. I just had them replace the unit. They sent two guys who where very courteous, clean and perfect installers. They worked 9 hours at the house replacing everything. The price was awesome. Nothing but the best in my opinion and I see installations of hvac units in a daily basis. I worked all day away from the house and came home to a beautiful installation and my house is cool again. I can’t thank them enough for their service and they are the best.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY I REPEAT THIS DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY THEY LIE OVER AND OVER THEY CAME TO MY HOUSE. TO BECAUSE MY THERMOSTAT WAS NOT TURNING ON MY AC TURNED OUT WAS A SIMPLE SENSOR BUT THE 1ST TECHNICIAN REWIRED MY ENTIRE UNIT WHICH MADE MY 2 STAGE A 1 STAGE WHICH OBVIOUS DIDN'T WORK LIED ABOUT IT BEING REPAIRED THEN 2ND TECH SAID IT WAS FINE REWIRED MY CONDENSSOR ANOTHER LIE! 3RD TECHNICIAN CAME OUT WITH SUPERVISOR FOR 5 HRS SAID WAS FIXED 2 HRS LATER 85 DEGREES IN HOUSE THESE PEOPLE ARE IMCOMPITANT LIARS DO NOT USE THEY IF U WANT YOUR A/C FIXED AND HONEST QUOTES .!!!!
We purchased a brand new Trane air conditioner from this company that has been defective since day 1. They DO NOT back the products they sell. They tell me every time that it is a Trane issue and not their issue. I purchased the unit in 2017 and have had over ten service calls for defective parts and EVERY time they give me a hard time to make the repair. It’s a battle to have it covered and they always want to charge $$$ for every defective part on this brand new unit they sold me on. They are rude, difficult to deal with and untrustworthy. I DO NOT recommend.
They installed ac with permits but failed to close out permits. IM in the process of selling my home and found out after over a decade that the permit was outstanding. To rectify the matter I needed an affidavit from this company along with an application to submit to the city. The owner of the compnay(John) wanted to charge a fee for the affidavit, I asked why was I being charged after all I paid for you to handle the work and permit issues. He stated that he doesn’t have the time to look into the matter and he would get back to me at another time. The manager said if you want us to sign off then you need to wait. I expressed there was a time sensitive matter and I would much rather have my applications back so I can have another professional assist. The owner became belligerent and rude torn up my application and threatened me. All of this was caught on camera as I couldn’t believe I was being treated so nasty and that the environment was so unprofessional
this company installed a central ac unit for me 10 years ago, yes I know its 10 years ago. But in the last 10 years I have had nothing but issues with this AC it has caused water damage in my home. I have so many people out here trying to fix my water damage, roof, engineers, etc. I have recently been told by 3 companies the AC is the issue with the water damage, it is too big for my home. I called to get this resolved and spoke to the most unprofessional sarcastic office manager. My warrant expires in September the office manager offered to have someone come out and look at the AC for $85 as if I want to give them more of my money. Save your money, they do shotty work, and very unprofessional
I wanted to talk to somebody for my company A/C,went there in person and the blonde lady in the front office barely noticed me, terrible customer service.
Never showed up...waited all day..when I called to find out why , I immediately got attitude from someone named Alice, who needs an attitude adjustment. I cancelled the appointment and was told OK. do what you want . They do not corner the market and I will certainly not refer them to friends or family and will suggest alternative AC dealers.....
Be careful with this company. They offer you a lot of perks when trying to sell you a new A/C unit, but if it's not in writing they will not honor it. I bought a brand new unit about a year ago and the sales guy promised a preventive maintenance check up the first year, and now that I call the company they're stating it's not on the contract. Now they're charging $175 in order to do a preventive maintenance check up which was supposed to come with the new unit. Just another shady business in South Florida. Be very careful with this company and if they offer you anything extra, make sure it's in writing.
I am a building manager and have been using Affordable for all service, repair and replacement of units on both our commercial and residential properties. From Alex & Cristina, to John (owner) and Lazaro (my fav tech) they are all excellent. Always willing and able to help even when I've called last minute w emergencies.

Affordable Air is an incredible find. Prices were far better than other companies, and the service was fast. The installers were professional and worked through a rainstorm to get my unit installed. The tech was knowledgeable and patient, answering all of my questions in a way I could understand. All in all, one of the best companies I've experienced.

Jon and his team at Affordable Air and Heat are your go to people when all else fails, so save yourself the time and expense and contact them first. They are truly forensic technicians, taking the time to diagnose and treat rather than the easy way out of recommending replacements. If they say it has to be replaced, then you can trust that completely knowing that every other option has been explored. I can’t recommend them more highly!
