NEVER USE WALLACE AIR! They’re scammers and will not fix your ac unit correctly the first time and continually keep having to come out to fix it. They have scammed my 80 year old veteran father out of thousands of dollars. Save your money and use literally anyone else.

Called Wallace October, 2022 to replace ac unit in our 960 sq. ft. 2-story condo. Husband spoke with owner's son Ryan who said they would install a 1.5T unit. Husband told Ryan he thought we should go with a 2-2.5T, but Ryan insisted we needed to match what was currently installed. Wallace installed new unit on 10/11/22 total cost of $4,735 ($3,985 for new 1.5T Goodman GS14 a/c unit and $750 for the Shark Skin anti corrosion coating). Arrived at condo late February for first time since new unit installed and not happy. Barely able to cool condo & running for app. 14-15 hours/day. Called Wallace & asked for tech to come out & make sure working properly. Told unless found something wrong, would be $109 service charge. Came out 2/23, tech's helper attached gauges to unit & said it was working properly. Husband disagreed with diagnosis & said something must be wrong because it barely cooled condo. Tech checked ductwork in attic to look for leakage; found some pinhole leaks, but that would only create a problem for the upstairs which we knew would be warmer, but it also did not cool first floor & thermostat is 4' from furnace on first floor. Spent 20 minutes checking system. Husband asked technician if we still had to pay service fee & he said yes. Asked tech if he could install new Nest thermostat. Tech said sure, would only take about 10 minutes. Tech didn't tell us cost to install & we didn't ask, thinking would be no more than $50- 75 (Wallace's website says they always provide an estimate before doing any work). When finished (about 10 minutes later) he gave us a bill for $284 ($109 + $175 to install the Nest). Husband was furious! Tech said nothing he can do & for husband to call the office & talk to owner Pat or Ryan who may give us some money back. Husband called Wallace 4-5 times & finally spoke to Pat who said he would talk to tech & get back to us which he never did. By 3/30 we noticed ac was running longer than normal & by 3/31 it was running al

This is by far the most professional and knowledgeable HVAC company in the county and I’ve dealt with many. It’s a family business that values its customers and doesn’t try to upsell you on things you don’t need or scam you into unnecessary equipment like some of the other local companies do. They will work miracles to fit you into the schedule and service you promptly when you’re in a tough spot and will treat your home with great care when there - very impressed with everyone here honestly. We have utilized Wallace since 2004 when we moved here. Always have been quite pleased with the service. This past weekend, we had an issue with our AC and Brian was exceptional. Responded quickly (once he got the message, they have a new system and it does have a few bugs) - professionally and supportively. Walked my husband (who is an engineer) through some steps and problem fixed. This was late Saturday and Sunday morning. Ryan is the fourth generation of this family owed and operated company. He did an awesome job helping me select the right heating and air conditioner unit. He is knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly. There was no delay in delivery or installation. Dave and Chris installed the unit. They really represented the company in the same knowledge, helpfulness, and friendliness. They were both just wonderful and did an outstanding job on the installation. I feel they went above and beyond. Wallace sir and heat do our maintenance and check up by-yearly on our old system and have always been pleased with them. I highly recommend Wallace air and heat for maintenance and new equipment.

Had this company out to the house twice, only because they faied to fix it correctly the first time, while under warranty. It appears to me the service persons are motivated to repair calls sell new units, whether you need one or not. I went to the office with my issues and was told they will review my invoices and get back to me. Its been many weeks and not a word from Wallace. After dealing with them twice and reading all the negative reviews I am beginning to sense this is not a company I want to deal with. 10/19/19: Thank you for finally getting back to me. Unfortunately it only took a negative review after I came to you for an adjustment to my bill, which you ignored me for. Your analysis of this situation is inaccurate, based on the service technicians write up which I quote verbatim: Check system found multiple leaks in condensing coil unit, coil connections and dryer. under warranty repair price $1187., subject to charge based on warranty status. Cust auth repairs at $1187. It clearly list leaks at the dryer. It seems reasonable to me if there were leaks at the dryer, the dryer should have been replaced when you came out the first time. After 12 years it did not just magiclly deteriorate in the 2 yrs since you replaced the outside condensing coil.The 2nd service order states it was badly rusted. The dryer would have been visably worn when your tech decided not to replace it. I shouldn't have to stand over someone to ensure the work was done properly, but if I had I would have insisted the dryer be replaced. Now two years after a major repair the outside system is leaking again at a critical part that should have been replaced as indicated in the initial Service order #105741. This leads me to believe your company after 60 years of doing business has lost it's way in a competetive market. The damn repair should have been fixed right the first time. We would not be having this discussion and I wouldn't be out an additional $787., and your business
