Just over a year ago, I bought a new, three-ton unit from Homestead Air, spending over $5,000. When they installed the unit, they left behind a hole in the back of our trailer and didn't tell us about it. We called them to come back and fix the hole, which they did. At no time were we told that we would have to pay for this repair. I saw it as them fixing a mistake that they made. I never received a bill, but when I just called for service (my thermostat is failing), I was told that I had an outstanding balance for the repair! This is all very unprofessional.
Quick service when my ac needed replacement due to age. Fair competitive prices and great products to choose from. I Highly recommend Homestead Air.
I am so grateful for this company. After my A/c went out I called an emergency service who quoted me over 1600 dollars and told me a bunch of things needed replacing. Homestead AC came to my house literally 20 minutes after I called them for a second opinion. They fixed my unit in less than two hours and for a fraction of the price. I will never use another AC maintenance or repair company again. Homestead AC is THE BEST, period.
Old company retired, found a new one, recommended through Farm Bureau. I like new one. Very professional staff and trustworthy.

I am so very thankful for the superior service I received when my AC went out. They were already booked for the day, but said they would try to get someone to me by end of day, but no later than 8:00am the next day. Despite it being late in the day (4pm), they DID send two service people that day, who resolved the first issue. I just feel that is superior service, and so many businesses would have just said tomorrow will do. The owner himself came out to support them with a second issue. They came back first thing in the morning with the repaired motor, and we were up and running! They kept us informed along the way, and genuinely seemed to care that we were going to be without AC that night (which was unavoidable based on the needed part, etc.). They are simply...the best!
After dealing with contractors over the years, I don't recommend them because they usually make me look bad. However, I am so pleased with Homestead Air and the owner/operator Richard that I HIGHLY recommend them to anyone and everyone reading this. I had some major issues I was enduring all summer with my AC and Ducts and most contractors didn't know what they were talking about, didn't want the job or wanted to just rip everything out instead of doing the hard / right things to get things back working optimally. Step in Richard and Homestead Air... He and his guys took on the challenge for a reasonable price based on the amount of work, supplies and manpower it took to make things right. They not only showed up on time but worked their tails off from 9 AM to past 9 PM for 2 straight days until they got the job done right. They also made sure I got AC at nights in parts so we could sleep at home. I can't be happier I found them. I live in Palmetto Bay so don't get fooled by the name, they will come to the PBay / Pinecrest area. Do I sound happy? You better believe it. It's so good to find a contractor in Miami that works hard, is respectful, intelligent and honest. I have found my permanent AC guy and hope you do too. BTW, I know this may look staged cause I'm so positive about them but it's the truth and I stand by this review.
There a very high quality work except style and do it the best way to get a real quality job done doing it write the first time only makes sense there are a few issues that have to be improved with the plans and the turn around time it's taking to get started on the work etc there's no other company that is better than the quality of the services from Homestead AC company thanks Robert Max

I knew these guys were pros the moment they walked in and they actually spoke English you can tell all their tools were organized and they had the latest testing equipment the real deal hard to see this nowadays but there’s still some companies out there that offer this type of service thank you Emmanuel and Henry

The “mechanics” arrived with their fancy detecting equipment. A real mechanic uses his eyes and hands to find the problem. Anyways, the guy gave me what sounded like his speech.. “we will try to find the problem and diagnose it and ‘IF’ reparable ... if”. When I heard that I even told him, yeah, you just basically told me I’m going to have to replace something... nice. Seeing as I’m a woman and don’t know diddly about these things, it’s easy for them to throw this my way. Soooo their fancy detecting equipment diagnosed that my AC needed to have the coil replaced. They apparently can’t fix that. Oh! And they would have to get the office to tell he the price of the coil and order it because they don’t have these crucial AC parts readily available... really? Great service guys! Glad to know I gave you $90 to tell me you can’t fix my AC and I would still have to wait Lord knows how many days for you to get a coil! To be continued... I contacted my AC mechanic that is now back in town. I’ll be back to let you know if the coil was not repairable. UPDATE: Thank you for your response. Companies like this one rather replace than repair. The coil I purchased 2 years ago is rebuilt and was good as new. My AC mechanic repaired the problem in less than 30 minutes with nothing but his knowledge and experience, as always. No hard feelings, just my time and money lost. More power to those that rather buy a new one than repair.

This has to be one of the best companies i have ever dealt with. They were prompt, honest, explained things in an easy to understand way. They could not repair the unit that was at our house so made the new instillation a priority. I would rate them a 10 if there were 10 stars.
After dealing with shady ac companies that try to upsell.i found this company and to say surprised is a understatement. They are fast proffesional and honest and take the time to explain what's going on.also they are very reasonable in price .they have a customer for life I'm all about integrity.
