They certainly have no understanding of Air Conditioning or HVAC. After 3 hours my Hvac would freeze over. I made sure it was defrosted when their tech came. He said it isn't frozen so all good. I said it keeps freezing. He said, "I need to see it frozen. Nothing here to fix. Call me when it is frozen." Everything gets pushed WEEKS. The same tech came back, I let it run frozen, I didn't defrost it, he says, "I can't diagnose, call back when defrosted." After a month of no AC in Miami summer and sleeping on the floor downstairs w/a pregnant wife and little kids, 3rd visit he says to me, " I have no idea. Call someone else." I paid $125 AHS (That's another review, they contract the least knowledgeable companies) to be dropped. I called a company I know, they were over in a few hrs and said freon is low, added some and everything working great, no freezing over. I saw another reviewer post that Air Connection just wants to collect the service fees.
Tried to charge me 9x more than what I ended up paying. Do your research before using this company
They cancel my appointment and don’t even have the decency to let me know. Their reason to cancel my appointment was because they don’t have the requirements to enter the condominium
These guys are bad news. Beware of this company. They do not want to work, they just want to collect services fees. They were sent by my home warranty. They did not even open the machine. They said it was an "illegal unit" (which is crazy because it was bought and installed by a certified tech). They kept the service fee did not work and then offered to bill to clean the unit. Wild waste of time be care if you choose to deal with a business that operates in this fashion. Thumbs down
This is the second time Air Connection Mechanical has been dispatched under my AHS insurance contract. And, again, they did not disappoint. My AC was not shutting off and making a noise. I requested service yesterday for my personal home and they scheduled for first thing today. Their technician Ivan came at 8am and methodically checked the condenser, then handler, then capacitor, then tested power for each wire and finally found the issue to be the contactor (wire hub). Replaced it with a new one from his truck and all set. About the noise, Ivan determined it is the fan motor, and they submitted the motor for AHS to approve replacement. I have only had good experiences with this company -and would use them even if I did not have AHS.

Horrible Service! They charged me for a HVAC repair through my Home Warranty company but DID NOT DO THE REPAIR! They marked the repair as complete in the system but when calling to have them correct it they refused. They said they were unable to do the repair but are REFUSING to update the warranty system so that I will be transferred to a different company that Will Actually do the repair. So they stole my money and now are directing my calls to voicemail. We have a 4yr old living with us and this is Horrible!
My home warranty company typically uses this company to provide service. One thing I pride myself on is customer service and communication which is the foundation of establishing a good rapport with customers. However, there have been a few occasions where the staff are rude. Today, for example, I'm speaking and the staff person cuts me off. I kindly listened when she was talking but to cut me off is rude, unprofessional, and disrespectful. It tells me my concerns are being disregarded and unimportant. That is an unacceptable message to convey to a customer. At this juncture, since they seem to be the only company my home warranty tends to use, I'm reconsidering continuing business with my home warranty company.
BEWARE. Untruthful lazy technician giving the wrong diagnostic. The lying technician came to my house and didn’t check to see if my Duct had a leak, he stood on his ladder and just took a picture. I asked him how does he know that the duct does not have a leak, his response was “I don’t know”. My home warranty company sent this incompetent company. Don’t use them, go elsewhere.
According to Janet and a rude person she called "The Scheduler" (who I could hear in the background telling Janet what to say), my A/C should only breakdown when someone can be at my house for 4 hours to wait for one of their technicians. While I obviously don't have control over when my A/C breaks, I do have control over which company I call for A/C repair and it will NOT be Air Connection. I called a different A/C repair place and they immediately scheduled an appointment that accommodated my work schedule.
Terrible technicians. They went to 2 properties , they couldn’t find the property on both cases and provided the wrong analysis of the issue for both properties. We had to contact another company to solve both issues . Ow , and they don’t answer the phone after 4pm.
Attention customer do not used this comany..I had the worst experience, the install a New air condition within weeks its blowing hot air. when I called to talk to Martha letting her know i need to know the compressor is what need to change she had me on hold for 22m after that they block my number. I will let the Better business bureau attorney general. get this the phone company says they block our number. i would not trust them to do business with this company. they been getting away with this. they are not a comapany with. they all liars. Tuve la peor experiencia, instalar un nuevo aire acondicionado en cuestión de semanas sopla aire caliente. cuando llamé para hablar con Martha, que trabaja en mecánica de conexión de aire, para decirle que necesito saber que el compresor es lo que necesito cambiar, me tuvo en espera durante 22 minutos, después de eso bloquearon mi número. Que negocio va bloqueando gente. si este problema no se soluciona. Se lo dejaré al fiscal general del Better Business Bureau. Escucha esto, la compañía telefónica dice que bloquearon nuestro número. No confiaría en ellos para hacer negocios con esta empresa.
Stay away from AIR CONNECTION MECHANICAL! Very Unprofessional and rude technicians and customer service. AIR CONNECTION MECHANICAL, LLC could not diagnose the problem with my AC. Charged me and never came back. The tech couldn't not find the power switch to the AC unit and couldn't find AC unit on the rooftop, so he just left even after I told him that the maintenance personnel from our association is ready to assist.
Contacted me within 12h of work ticket (on a Sunday), scheduled next available (Tueday 8am). Tech came, diagnosed problem and fixed within 30 minutes. Very professional.
My a/c stopped cooling. I was assigned Air Connection Mechanical using my American Home Shield protection coverage. They called and came out within hours the next business day. The tech explained the problem and suggested a step to prevent the problem in the future. I'm very happy and my home is cool again. I was wary of the previous comments but I'm satisfied with their service and would suggest giving them a try.
Very professional and knowledgeable technicians and customer service representatives. I don't have to look for another company to service my A/C in Miami. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

I’m a tech on A/C for more than 30 years, I have the Journeyman License. Very lack of knowledge company. A tech came here to check my A/C. THEY WAS ASSIGNED BY MY HOME INSURANCE. Tech came and star looking and taking pictures of my A/C. I told him compressor is burned out need to be change. He said no because is old more then 15 Years. He sent the report to the Home Insurance saying, the compressor burned out because cover of the fan blade is broken. This is XL19i seer Trane unit and compressor are cover with noise reducer, but if was not is no way the compressor burned out for that. Now the insurance not want to repair the A/C. Those guys have no clue what is to be a good technician. No recommended at all. Less the Star for me.
Be VERY careful if you use this company. AHS sent them to my house to repair AC. The tech spent an hour on his phone and left without fixing it - he promised he’d be back the next day. Of course he never showed and when I called the company and left messages they never called me back. Found out later that tech lied, told AHS he couldnt access the unit and that it had been damaged, which of course voids the warranty. Neither of those things were true. I requested another vendors opinion and got South Cooling. They were the complete opposite of Air Connection. SOUTH COOLING was professional, correctly diagnosed the problem and ordered the part immediately. South Cooling repaired the unit and stayed in touch with me as matters progressed. I will NEVER use Air Connection Mechanical again and I recommend you think twice before hiring this unprofessional and untrustworthy company. They’re really that bad. #USESOUTHCOOLING
