We had a super easy and pleasant experience! From 3 different companies that gave us quotes, Custom Air Works was the most reasonable one and they did a phenomenal job! Extremely happy with every aspect of their work!
Custom Air Works did a great job installing a new air handler and condenser for me. My old system had stopped working and Jim came up with a great solution for a new system despite some challenges with the existing space. The price was fair and I was never upsold or pressured into buying anything that I didn't need. The installation was done quickly and professionally, with care taken to protect my floors and my possessions. Thanks to Jim, Eric, Josh, Brian and everyone else at Custom Air Works!

I installed a new Honeywell Wi-Fi thermostat in our Gulfport home and our A/C wasn't working properly after I completed the installation. Called Jim at Custom Air Works HVAC first thing in the morning and he dispatched a service team (Jason and Mark). Jason and Mark arrived shortly after the call. They wore masks when they arrived and kept them on through the entire service call. It was raining when they arrived. They wiped their feet on the welcome mat when they entered the house and were careful not to leave foot prints on the floors. Jason and Mark checked the wiring on the thermostat. They consulted with Jim on the phone and collectively resolved the issue. They also tested the heat to make sure it was working properly before they left. I feel the entire Custom Air Works HVAC team is very knowlegeable, efficient and courteous. There is other HVAC work that will be needed at our Gulfport home in the near future. I received a quote for that work that is very reasonable and will use Custom Air Works HVAC for the job when ready to kick it off. I highly recommend Custom Air Works to anyone in the area that needs prompt, professional, courteous HVAC service at a reasonable price.
I wanted to give a shout our to our LOCAL Gulfport Custom Air Works HVAC with Jim and crew! Completed my AC change out without a hitch, and what great work, and attention to detail. Thanks to them I now have one of the most efficient HVAC / Heat Pump systems on the market, at a VERY reasonable price! Highly recommend them to anyone in Gulfport, and the surrounding Pinellas area!
My AC was on its last legs after 24-25 yrs. Jim came by and got it to work until 2 of his guys came by to replace the system a few days later. They said the new unit would be up and running by 2pm, and they were right. They took the old ac and cleaned up everything. They also took the time to answer every question I had and explain the new system, also how to maintain it on my end. The price I would get from other places was in the 7K range, Jim's price was much lower and what I could work with. And they were courteous which the other places were not, some just outright rude.
We contacted Custom Air Works that we were having an issue with our HVAC. He came out the same day & diagnosed the problem quickly. Since the heat pump was older we opted to replace it. We had been wanting to install a REME HALO air purification system for awhile & Jim was able to install that while doing the hvac install. Jim's team of Jason & Mark were timely, efficient , polite & considerate of our home. Brian the office manager did the scheduling & warranty work & was very nice on the phone. We highly recommend this Company for any AC & Heating or Air Purification needs.We are so glad Jim's Co was recommended by a friend to us!!

Absolutely amazing people, my register in my bedroom was in the wrong place, they took time out of there day to relocate it for me and installed a new duct.Very clean and professional, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

I live in Florida where a lot of air conditioning companies are rip offs. Not Custom Air Works. They are absolutely the best. They installed a great system for me and keep up with usual maintenance. It has cut my air conditioning bill in half even in the middle of August. They are also really affordable. You can not go wrong with this company.
Custom Air replaced all of our worn out attic ductwork last Friday. Rather than simply replacing the existing ductwork with the same configuration, Jim mapped out the ductwork and improved on the existing routing, making it more efficient! Jason, Mark and Ian did a beautiful job. Our house is more comfortable already! Great company, and highly recommended!
We contacted Custom Air Works (HVAC) to provide a quote for a custom project. The owner, Jim, responded the same day! Jim is super friendly and very thorough. Custom Air Works completed our project in a timely manner and will be replacing one of our older units coming soon! As a Real Estate agent and home owner I HIGHLY recommend Jim and his team. Techs did a very thorough check of my air handling system. Showed me photos of the evaporator coils and blower fan in the attic so I knew the condition of them. . Left everything very clean and in excellent order. Wore face masks and kept social distancing. This was the first time I had Custom Air come to my home and I will be using them for further maintenance and service calls.
Jim and his team installed a new America Standard system in my townhouse and I have not had such a positive home improvement experience in many years. Jim is an incredibly honest and knowledgable professional and his team was outstanding in completing a very challenging installation. Their workmanship was clean and efficient with continuing maintenance in mind. They were all very thorough and they cleaned up after themselves so that there was never any mess left behind. Perhaps the most impressive thing to me was the positive attitude and respect that they had had for each other and for my wife and me. Jim is a great mentor to these young men and I could not have asked for better people to be in my home. Finally, the price was fair with great value for the money we spent. I look forward to having Jim and his team continue to keep my system working.
My air conditioner quit working Wednesday night. I spoke to Jim at eight am Thursday morning. Two hours later Jason and Travis were at my home, diagnosing the problem. They added Freon To keep the unit running until a needed part could be ordered and installed. They were back at 10 am Friday morning with the new part. They did a great job on install and clean up. I really Appreciate the prompt fix. Thanks again guys!
Jim and his crew at Custom Air Works are great! We've had our AC for a few months and it has saved us this HOT summer! Our electric bill in the hottest month DROPPED $91! Jim will not sell you anything you do not need. They are professional and get the job done. Thank you Jim!
