Beware of this company. They charged me $670.00 for fixing my first floor a/c which has an error. Next day the a/c stopped working and it had the same error. They send the tech and he couldn’t fix it. To my surprise I received another invoice for $540 and on the invoice it says tech checked the 2nd floor a/c which he never touched. It was the same first floor a/c which was not working. I would be more than happy if i can save one customer from going to this company and wasting their money.

If I could give them a zero for professionalism, I would. We used this company to install the A/C system in our NEW CONSTRUCTION HOME ON THE WATER in Fort Lauderdale. We have 5 a/c units (including 1 for the garage and 1 for the wine room). They installed all 3 of the giant Lennox units backwards, with the line sets facing the sidewalk on the side of the house, where every gardener, boat washer, diver, pest control guy and a sundry of other people have to walk past almost daily with equipment on dollies. First, This was the most UN-aesthetic and unappealing installation you have ever seen on a multi-million dollar home. After installing the Lennox units, they covered them with boxes, so we didn't even notice that they were backwards until we went to move it. After much dismay, they finally came back and turned them around properly. Three years later (today), we called them for service on one of the units. The first thing out of the repair guys mouth was, "Well, if your your husband hadn't insisted on turning them around, then they would be easier to work on". This is not about you, Solar Air!!! I have kept my mouth shut about this for 3 years. We have contacted our architect and Lennox directly and were told that they way we wanted them installed was the proper way (with the line sets to the back and the Lennox labels to the front). They are just being lazy, obnoxious, and unprofessional. I will never call them again. I would highly recommend not using them for NEW CONSTRUCTION. They SUCK!
Wish I could give them a zero. If you have an older AC unit steer clear of this scamming company. Matter of fact if you have any type of work needed, call someone else. A Tech came out and said he wasn't knowledgeable on the AC unit I had since it was almost 10 years old...too complicated of a system, he said. However, for $1300 they would fix a blower motor that a diagnostic test said I needed. The tech left to go to the van, and without saying another word, never came back. Not knowing any better, I call in the deposit for 50% of the job after finding out he got called out for an Emergency job. Later that evening/early morning the AC started working again! It's been over a month and I finally received my deposit, less $90. I'm furious they have the nerve to charge any amount when they sent a tech who wasn't skilled to properly conduct an AC diagnostic. Calling Credit Card company in the morning to dispute the charge and getting the BBB involved too. I'm tired of businesses ripping consumers off and getting away with it.

Ray and Mark did an excellent job installing the new ac unit, very professional. Also Jose was very nice and professional he explained to me all the process, very nice people, very glad that I hired them.
Fixed a leak quickly and professionally. Both the receptionist and repair man (Jose) were wonderful. Thanks for your prompt response to my calll.
Solar air and tom the owner were the contractor on a new construction home in rio vista. They located thermostats in the wrong rooms and set up a duel zone system backwards. Tom the owner was only available when he wanted to up sell me and I have spent over a month trying to get him to even come look at the problems. I have had to hire my regular Ac guy to repair toms screw ups. He has never responded to my repeated phone calls. Please take this review in consideration before hiring your Ac contractor.
