Pinellas Comfort Systems installed a brand new AC unit at my property. Installation was fine, however 5 months later the new system stopped working. There has now been 4 different appointments replacing parts trying to get the system working again. Thankfully it’s all under warranty but it’s been extremely inconvenient. My property is a short term rental and I had the new AC installed before renting it so that I wouldn’t have any issues like this. But having the brand new AC serviced 4 times in the past month has been inconvenient and annoying. Not sure what they did when they installed or what went wrong but this shouldn’t happen.
Charles was so helpful and thorough!! They were able to come out same day to help us. Will be sticking with this company for our AC needs 😊
The service tech was late both days they came out. I was given a repair quote and told I would get a phone call about our warranty coverage. We were told to expect the call the following day. It's been a week and we have heard nothing. I guess that's fortunate since we had another company come out with a lower quote since one part didn't need replaced.
I guess they merged with another company and I have been trying for over 2 weeks to get a repair done for an estimate that I paid for. I have asked for a manager to call me back. Put on hold and forgotten about over and over. Contacting Better Call Benhken next! Will delete review ONLY if my situation is resolved. Would like a refund of the prepaid maintenance as it is impossible to get in touch with anyone.
I would not recommend this company. I called for a quote for a whole new a/c system and the guy that answering the phone sounded like a teenager. When someone from the business returned my call, she explained it was an answering service that they were no longer using in 2 days. So i let that go. I had a guy from their service team come out i believe he is part owner he stated he is 4th generation a/c guy who used to do service tech work and now does the sales end. We chatted everything appeared fine. He stated he needed to measure my windows i directed him outside to do so. No other Person from any other company did this they all needed square footage of my home and looked at present system. He said he needed to go back to the office to figure out pricing and would email me. I voiced concerns about other businesses that had come out and he said most of his business was from other companies not following through on their end. I'm scratching my head on this because 2 days later i called their company twice asking for my quote everyone else had a quote right then and there and emailed same day. The lady said she didn't know if they were out or where they were and left word for him and his boss. And put me off until the following week. You mean i have to wait a week for quote? Now Its been over a week.. very strange... doesn't seem like their interested in business and have a hard time with follow through.. no return phone calls no email with quote. Legit business?
I really liked this young man, Ray. He was thorough and informative about what he was going to do. Our system had NO issues and that was such good news! Ray KNOWS his job and likes it. I would be very happy if he returned. This company is fine..but it is a Trane A/C..and I will never have another trane.. Too many costly repairs that can't be avoided... My last A/C I had for 14 years and NEVER had these repairs needed.. This company is always prompt to handle issues and I got the preventative maintenance plan again... I DO recommend this company..but stay away from Trane... Sadly they are NOT the quality product I remember from years ago.
Ray installed a new UV light bulb. Arrived right on time and as always, fast, efficient and always great to work with. A pleasure to do business with this company and their technicians. David came today to do my A/C maintenance. Very efficient, explained everything well, and very pleasant to work with. I have used Pinellas Comfort Systems for many years now, and have always been extremely satisfied with the service and with the people who work for them.
Britt was on time, very personable, & knowledgeable. He took the time to walk me through what needed to be done and explained the long term benefits and answered all my questions. He was very professional & kind and I appreciated his solution for my home and will be having my duct work done with this company!
Pinellas Comfort Systems was communicative and timely. David walked me through the options and sent detailed pictures so I was up to date on what was going on with my unit, even though I was not there with him.
They went out to give a free estimate for my parents house for a bonus room for the ductless air system. When the technician got there my parents because I was paying for it would not let the technician take measurements! I have never dealt with the amazing customer service that your technician gave. Not only did he call me he called me again after and spoke so kindly and was so patient with my parents! I will definitely recommend this business
I have a GE hybrid hot water heater and the heat pump feature went out. The company came pretty much on time, diagnosed the issue and had the parts on hand to do the repair. You couldn’t ask for better service! I would recommend them!
They were very neat with everything they did and they were on time. The workers that were led by Tom he was very knowledgeable. All were considerate and left everything immaculate. The crane driver was also on the spot and very careful. The system by Linux that we purchased is much quieter than the old system that was in this condo which was purchased in 2002. Now we are up-to-date and have the thermostat we like also by Honeywell.
Larry and his team installed a new AC unit and compressor. It was a big job and they had to do a lot of extra work when they pulled out my old unit. Larry was extremely professional, answered all my questions, very knowledgeable. Mark sold me the unit and he took alot of time to explain everything to me. He followed up several times after the installation to confirm all was working to my satisfaction. I was very pleased with their service.
Pinellas Comfort Systems provided excellent service - from scheduling all the way to the repair. I have been a very satisfied customer throughout. They were very upfront and provided a thorough explanation of the issue at hand and were able to get a replacement part the next day - when I assumed it would take days, especially given the recent storm (Hurricane Ian). I will continue to utilize them for any future HVAC issues and am a very satisfied customer!
Ray at Pinellas Comfort Systems has been to our home twice! He is communicative, professional, on time or early (but calls first) and provides exceptional service. He even saved a lizard trapped in our AC pipes! Highly recommend this company!
I was in a rather desperate situation, my air conditioning failed in October in Florida(very unpleasant). I contacted Pinellas Comfort Systems after a number of companies said it would be some time before they were able to assist me.. Britt came through with options and a price and schedule I could live with. There was no attempts to up sale and I did not feel like I was being taken advantage of because of my situation. Will post again after completion of the job.
Found company through Google search for BBB A+ ratings. Impressive number of years in business and 700+ 4.9 reviews guided me to call and set up an appointment to for annual checkups. Able to talk to a human being to set up the initial call at my convenience. David was on time and very professional. Explained what a typical maintenance call includes and backed it up with a well organized completion of services on-line report. Pictures were taken of pertinent AC components and estimates that I should be aware of. The invoice, estimates and pics downloaded readily. No pressure to purchase anything. Just the facts. I was very pleased with our first encounter. I feel confident that our AC will be well taken care of.
My unit had been blowing not very cool air all year. It was to the point of being 78 in my house when it was 88 outside. I called 3 other companies who just charged me a diag fee and then said everything’s fine and that it can only cool so much. I got to my breaking point when it got to be 82 in my home on an 83 day. I called them emergency dispatch on a Saturday evening and they showed up in an hour. David T heard my concerns, let my husband follow him around and actually diagnosed my condenser was bad. He had one on the truck thankfully. Changed it out and immediately we had ice cold air. My house cooled down to my thermostat setting of 72 in under 2 hours. I signed up for the membership with them. My family of 7 is extremely thankful for that day.
Every technician that has been sent out is extremely honest and friendly. They do not push for unnecessary upgrades, but will notify you of your options. I never feel pressured and appreciate their professionalism.
I've used Pinellas Comfort Systems for about 3 years now and they provide great service. My most recent service was performed by Justin Abney. He was on time, courteous and knowledgeable. He was happy to answer all my questions and took the time to make certain I understood the repairs I needed to have made without pressure to proceed.
