My air handler stopped working. Contacted Cox as their web site said they have 24/7 emergency service. Got a call from the tech who told me since I'm not a regular customer he could not help me, So unless you are regular customer, Cox doesn't care about your needs.
Cox came to our rescue 7/1. AC suddenly stopped without warning and a tech named Dan made the decision to come to our home even though we had not used Cox AC before. AC got fixed and in the future we will have a contract with Coz AC. Once again thank you Cox and Dan.
OMG what a life saver. Our unit went out last night, we called and asked for service due to temps rising (89). Hubby and son found the breaker tripped, so they reset it, called Cox and cancelled the appointment. Unit ran all night, cool but not cold. I said a prayer when I left for work this morning that it held. Nope (I knew it wouldn't but I hoped it would). Hubby put in an emergency call at 5am and then again when they opened. He spoke with Lisa who let him know that it's crazy, everyone is out and they will try to get to us. I got home around 3:15p, (insert sad face here) it's 89 and rising. Hubby let me know the circumstances. Oh well, let's make the best of it. A call came, he took it, him and kiddo are messing with the thermostat and the next thing I knew, my "knight in shining armor" Tommy is outside changing out the capacitor. Thank you, thank you Cox! I really didn't think we would see anyone til tomorrow (I'm trying to figure out where I'm going to sleep since I have to work tomorrow lol) Out for dinner we go (I'm not cooking!) back home and it's now a "brisk" 83 but the air is cold and coming down. I can't thank you enough! Hats off to Lisa for her help and Tommy for getting us up and running!
Young knowledgeable technician showed up on time ,explained everything,checked entire system (inside and out). Always reasonably priced, and well worth.
Had my maintenance check today with Ron. He did a great job, even while it was pouring rain! Educated on systems, and really nice guy. Good response on their call. Love it!
I had them come out to do preventative maintenance and cleaning. I was told that my capacitor should be replaced under warranty and it would cost around $40. When it was done I was presented with a bill for $95. I don't find that to be a good business practice.
Honest and dependable. Every tech that has serviced my ac system has been polite, knowledgeable and focused on the service visit and not trying to sell a new system. I have complete faith in this company.
We’ve been Cox clients for more than forty years. This morning, I called to report the AC unit for my guest bedrooms quit just as my guests arrived. This afternoon, Joseph R came out, completed a thorough assessment, did some expert troubleshooting, identified and fixed my problem. Joseph explained everything to me in a clear manner. I really appreciate the professional and efficient service we have always received from this stellar company.
Highly recommend. Easy to work with and great service. They helped us out with an ASAP home A/C emergency the day before a vacation, the technician diagnosed and had it fixed in less than 15 min.
I had COX install a new HVAC system a few months back and the salesperson ( Kerri ) along with the installers were wonderful. Everything went well and they all knew what they were talking about. The system has been working great. Yesterday morning I had a slight issue and needed a tech or rep from COX to stop by my home to address the issue. I called COX and they were right on it. Had the tech here the same afternoon and at a time that worked for me. Thank you for the quick response, attention to detail, answering any questions and a quick fix. I really appreciate the great customer service.
Lonny performed a routine HVAC inspection of our system. His attention to the electrical and mechanical details of our HVAC system was notable and greatly appreciated. Additionally, Lonny took the time to explain his process and answer our questions. Lonny's professionalism is commendable and a credit to Cox Heating & Air Conditioning.
The office is great to work with. Our technician, James, was excellent. He was pleasant, professional, knowledgeable, and able to diagnose our problem and fix it quickly. I appreciate COX heating and air conditioning and recommend them highly.
I will always recommend Cox A/C! They know how to conduct their business with integrity! The schedulers are compassionate, yet professional. They get you scheduled as soon as they can possibly fit you in, and because they have so many technicians/teams out there, they can usually schedule you pretty quickly. The communication couldn't be any better. They will call you when on their way and they are accurate. Once the technicians arrive, you are confident they can address the situation quickly and facilitate the repair promptly. And, the technicians give you an overview of their findings and repair. I cannot recommend them enough!
Antonio took care of our AC on this visit, and like every single Cox Professional, he did a thorough and perfect job. Our unit is in excellent hands with the Maintenance they continue to preform! Lyle just came for maintenance on 3/28 and he went above and beyond to help us with a new filter. Lyle was awesome!

We have always gotten prompt and dependable service from Cox Heating & Air Conditioning, performed by competent and courteous technicians. Last week was no exception.
COX Heating and Air handled the installation for our new home construction in 2016 and has provided semiannual service ever since. We have been extremely pleased with their responsiveness, professionalism and quality of their service technicians. James M came out today and spent extra time making sure that our system was operating in top condition. He was knowledgeable and efficient. I would highly recommend Cox HVAC to anyone looking for a new system installation or recurring service.
We have been happy Cox customers for over 20 years. Just today, we called as our A/C wasn't working and within an hour, a wonderful serviceman arrived and resolved our problem. He was just terrific. We are very grateful, Sincerely, Arnie Schneider
Drew installed two Wi-Fi thermostats and make sure they were registered and working. I appreciate his knowledge and professionalism greatly. I've been a customer of Cox heating and air conditioning for at least 12 years and my mother was a customer many years before that. I called Cox to have them come out and give an estimate and the lady answered the phone didn’t even hardly say anything she just put me on hold and I sat on hold until I got tired of it and I hung up. It’s bad business.
