I have been using Bayside for years and returned after using another company for an emergency service. Initially happy with Bayside, but then after new AC install and purchasing a 3 year service contract, techs come out. There is always something wrong. This time I assumed it would be in and out because I have a brand new system. Tech proceeded to tell me I needed all new duct work for over 4k!!!. I called two additional companies, one was a trusted referral. The tech came out, crawled into my attic space and took several pictures and informed me no duct work replacement was necessary. I then called Bayside to try for a refund andend service contract. I also informed them of what happened. They said can we send a more experienced tech out to check duct work and I said NO! I could not get refund, so I said please put a note on file for your tech to come out, check system and politely leave. Every time they have come out, they try to sell me something or something is wrong. I am done! Sad, because once you were an honest , trustworthy company.
The best of the best company around Florida. I can’t express my gratitude and appreciation to all of them, service department, installer, costumer staff, parts and sales staff. You have been incredibly and amazing people. They install the system and we have issue with one room that very hot. They loan us a portable air-conditioning to accommodate us and the dogs. They are the nicest and the coolest people ever I recommend them to anyone in this world, I will hire them over and over and over again you are the best
No complaints at all. Highly recommend. I joined their maintenance program which to me was a good $$ deal. They came out and performed the service that I needed and did a great job. The customer service provided when I phoned in my service request is second to none. The service person was excellent. He was on time. He answered all my questions w detailed answers and he is extremely knowledgeable about AC units and the company maintenance program.
Allison was very professional and very helpful throughout the appointment, her experience and attention to detail was appreciated. If all the technicians are a great as Allison, I would recommend Bayside every time!
Technician, Jim, arrived on time and started to service our units. He addressed a few issues, installed two UV lights to prevent black mole from spreading and checked the Freon levels. He then cleaned up the work area and left everything like it was. Jim was knowledgeable, courteous and easy to talk with. We are looking forward to having him service our air conditioners in Redington Shores, FL as well. I highly recommend Bayside Heating & Air-Conditioning.
I have been a customer of Bayside Heating and Air Conditioning for over 20 years. Why? Because the owner, Tom Provotas, REALLY cares about his customers. He consistently hires quality technicians who share his customer service values. My most recent experience had Jason provide my services. He's superb!
I have had a contract with Bayside Heating & Air for 2 1/2 years and have been very satisfied with them. Jason is my service tec and he is fantastic. He always shows me and explains to me the service as he is doing it. He may suggest things that would help my AC but is never disappointed if I do not purchase it. I like that I do not feel pushed into anything I do not want but he also educates me at the same time. Thank you Jason we need more people like you.
They are always understanding of situations, competitive prices and on time. Their communication is fantastic. Work is done quickly and right. Jim has been been very knowledgeable and helpful the times he has been out to my house fir my maintenance. Actually the entire staff has been great for the many years I have had them.
Called and they got my later that same day! Reasonable service call fee!
Bayside Heating and Air Conditioning helps keep my AC in top shape for fighting the Florida heat. Allison and the Bayside team did a great job with my recent maintenance appointment. I live in a highrise condo and they are able to service the AC system without issue.
I have used Bayside for many years and recently had a technician named Jason who was excellent. Ask for him.

Tony was very professional and was on time. He came in and asked what's going with my New HVAC system. I let Tony know how I felt about the system. (Honestly I was very upset) He went to worked and show me what the problem was. The HVAC's service guys are very professional and know there craft, the one's that have came and took care of my HVAC system. (Don and Tony) Only issue I had was with trying to talk with someone to get a service member out here.
good 1. they will show up on time bad 1. the quality of your service will vary wildly depending on your technician. I got a view good services from the company 2. However, the large majority (especially in last couple of years) will not complete all the maintenance required. I once had a technician come to my house and not even clean my filters. I had to call and threaten to cancel my contract before they would send someone out. 3. They will try to sell you on something every time they are there. I was told I need my ducts clean by one, but then another would say they were fine. I was told by one that my coils were leaking, and had another company come out and check them and said they weren't just needed to be cleaned a little. I was told that my compressor was pulling to many amps by one technician when previous technician with higher reading said nothing and the amps are well within the specification of my unit. I have several other examples. I chalked it to technicians by told to do it, but it has gotten worse over last year. After my last poor interactions with a tech. I called and spoke with them and to their credit they listened to my concerns(Feb 22nd). They offered to send someone else out, and i asked them to call me in a month to set it up. Haven't heard back from them(April 14), and will just end up going with another company. My only recourse being with this review. In conclusion, you might get good service but more than likely you will get poor service and a technician trying to sell you something from 500 uv filter to a 2000 new set of coils. Especially if you have a system over 5 years old... just find someone else. Response to their Response: I have phone logs and ever receipt every given to me. I was never informed that my area isn't being serviced, and wouldn't have mattered either way ( i live in the middle of st pete so i doubt this is the case. I have been a customer of Bayside Heating and Air for about 15 years now. They have always been very honest, professional, and reliable. Brian Baker has been to my house several times and has always proven to be very knowledgeable. I recently replaced all the AC duct work in my house. The installers, Cody and Brian Greene, did an excellent job. During the installation, there were two mistakes that were made inadvertently. First, while trying to open my sliding glass door, the handle accidentally came off. The second one, was also an accident. When they went up in the attic, where my AC unit is kept, they accidentally hit a loose knob on my hot water heater, which is also located in the attic. This consequently caused a pipe to leak water, resulting in water to then pool onto the floor. What I found to be very impressive, was that they not only took responsibility for both instances and brought them to my attention, but they also promptly fixed both issues! I have always fully appreciated their sense of honesty and their integrity. I would highly recommend Bayside Heating and Air to anyone, without any hesitation!

I loved having Jason and Johan checkinG. AC. They explained everything very clearly. They did an excellent job.
Jim came to my home to perform maintenance. Personable and professional. Cleaned the unit thoroughly. Noticably improved the function. Within the next few days I found myself raising the air-conditioning temperature because of how well it is now functioning, thank you Jim!!
