Mike & Co were efficient and very responsive for the install and service of our new furnace. Highly recommend!
Charge a lot of money just to look at the unit , it takes one our just to take the cover off the AC unit so they can charge an extra $99 for the second hour.then they charge to go and pick up the Freon
Two days before the blizzard that we had beginning on Friday we woke up to 55 degrees in the house because the furnace had quit working. I called several firms but got none agreed to come out and address the problem. Then, I contacted MTL and even though I was not a regular customer, Mike came to our house in a timely manner, determined the nature of the problem, left to get a replacement part and then returned, staying until after 6pm, to get it installed and our heat back. Mike was fantastic and complemented his expertise with a big smile. I may not have been a regular customer of MTL in the past, but I certainly will be going forward. --Charles from Hamden

MTL Heating And Cooling are lifesavers! They were able to come incredibly quickly especially during the first cold week of the year and they fixed my navian boiler when even the install company couldn’t!

Overprice & extremely rude. The owner sent some kid to my house that appeared to had just got out of HVAC school. The owner spent nearly 3 hours on the phone with the kid trying to walk him through a diagnostic. Then the owner tried to charge me $390 plus tax for just a diagnostic alone. It was a $129 diagnostic fee and $87 dollars an hour. He also wanted to charge me $500 for a gas valve and an additional $90 for a thermocouple for my furnace not including additional labor. The part they were repairing was literarily in the front of the furnace and should not taken 3 hours to figure out. He demanded that I pay the $390 plus tax for the diagnostic fee. I hung up on him and paid the $129 fee we originally agreed on. He called me several times in a row until I blocked my calls from him.
Mike and his workers replaced my furnace, recently. Very good service. After completing the job, Mike took the time to go over all the details of the new furnace. His workers was clean and quite efficient. I'd recommend his service.

MTL Heating & Cooling are great. Always great service!!!!!! Mike and his staff are professional and helpful. My service technician Phil was awesome explained everything he was doing.
