I had an error code, low coolant, on my mini split unit. Set up an appointment on the first call for 7 days later. On the day of the appointment, the tech arrived on time and quickly found the leak. The tech made repairs and recharged the system. The system is now performing better than ever. The job took 3 hours. I am very happy with the price and results.
Great maintenance service call (5/5/23) from Jeff. He checked and cleaned everything on our A/C unit to ensure that it would be in proper working order for the upcoming cooling season. The service from Stafford Mechanical is outstanding and very reliable. Joe and Gail
They were able to replace my boiler quickly and at a fair price.
SMS went above and beyond the normal call of duty to assist us in replacing our ruined, 25 year old heating boiler. They hand walked me through the costs, our payment options and how to get the ball rolling on a stressful, emergency replacement. Once their team arrived, they were professional and pleasant to be around while they removed our old boiler and installed the new one. Their plumbing was top notch, the new plumbing was an improvement over the eyesore old plumbing. I hopefully do not have to deal with SMS again in our near future, but not because I was disappointed, because that would mean the new boiler lasts another 25 years and it’ll be someone else’s problem at that point! I would recommend them to any local business or homeowner that is looking for quality workmanship and no BS answers about what you need.

This is the second and third HVAC installation that Stafford has completed for our church. They have been very understanding of the complexities of securing the necessary approval of the congregation involving major projects. We have been very pleased with the results and will continue to use them for future projects.

I worked with Greg at Stafford Mechanical to install a 5-zone ductless system in my home. The team was nothing short of superb!! My wife and I are extremely happy with our new install. Just in time for the heat wave. The team at Stafford Mechanical was professional, and guided us through the entire process. Will definitely be using them again for any future work. These are the guys you want working on your home!!

Stafford Mechanical was one of three companies I called for a cooling solution for my home. I was undecided between central AC added to my existing furnace or a ductless mini-split. After talking to Greg, we went with a 18k BTU single zone mini-split to cool approximately 1k square feet. Greg spent my money as though it was his own and didn't try to oversell me. I have zero complaints from beginning to end and the system functions exactly as I had hoped. I would strongly recommend these guys to anyone.
My experience isn't complete yet. But at this point I'm convinced I chose the right A/C repair company. Local, Honorable and Talented are the three words that come to mind when thinking about these folks. Later on in the process, we noticed an oversight. Almost over night they had a Solution and a way forward. I have noticed how all the employees have the same work ethic and values. They should be proud of the talent they have. If I was an A/C technician, this place would be my dream job.
Hired Stafford Mechanical to repair a leak in steam radiator. They charged $200 for an estimate which was never told to us up front (although they said otherwise). Get everything in writing because they are not an honest company. When we questioned the charge, we were told if we spent $1000, it would be deducted from our bill, which was never applied. Then we got another surprise bill after the tech returned to reinstall the radiator (we had our floor repaired). He and my husband carried it outside- tech was there 15 min. but we were charged 1 and 1/2 hours of labor PLUS a truck charge. Spoke to Bob about this who was VERY unprofessional on the phone with me. He basically called me a liar and continued to bully me. I'm certain that if I were a male, he would have treated me with more respect. They finally re-billed us and removed one hour labor charge. Altogether, the pipe repair cost over $1000. Even after telling Bob that I would not recommend their company, he didn't seem to care and even told me to hire my oil company for repairs. My advice: Don't hire them but if you do, get everything they say in writing and keep your wallet open!

Rich at Stafford Mechanical Services is installing a complete HVAC system in our new construction home. I had the pleasure of meeting his crew. Frank, Dan and Jess (ducts) and SinJim and AJ(pipes) who are doing an incredible job. They are professional, respectful and on time during a challenging time with construction. I will definitely use their services for all my needs and strongly recommend them to my family and friends.
Stafford Mechanical came highly recommended to me by a friend who had just built a beautiful new home. I did my research when I general contracted my home and these guys earned my business due not only to their competitive price but more importantly their professionalism, punctuality, knowledge and workmanship. I never had to wait on them and they always kept me informed on the next step. Everyone who has seen the hvac system they installed in my new home has commented on how nice of a job they did. People who know what good work looks like. It was an easy decision choosing them.
The men who installed the 2 ac were not only professional, competent and neat but also very good at explaining the system to me. Each and everyone were courteous and cleaned up the place afterwards.

The technicians that installed my Hyper heat Mini-split system were fantastic. One issue, I never knew who I was talking to. They have a thing that Rick is Frank, Vern is Don and who knows who Sinjin is. Seriously this crew works so well together, knows their stuff and are genuinely nice guys. Very professional and knowledgeable. I am so glad I chose Stafford Mechanical for this job. The final result was beyond my expectations. I highly recommend them for any A/C work you need.
