I had gotten WiFi thermostats for my home from Blue Flame almost two years ago. Today, I was having an issue with one of them. On a whim, I called to see if they would be able to help even though so much time had pass. They were gracious in helping me, and were very patient as I went through the steps over the phone. Amazing customer service!
Had central air installed and the team came out and was very professional and got right to work. It was done quickly and they cleaned everything up. The whole team was great to work with

I have used a lot of oil companies over the last 30 years. It has never just been about price. Dependability, professionalism, and customer service are equally, if not more important. Blue Flame Oil exceeds expectations in all of these areas. They are not only knowledgeable in traditional heating and cooling solutions, they also have expertise in whole house heat pumps and split units. I recommend Blue Flame without reservation. There’s going to be a cold snap tonight into tomorrow and I just noticed that we were almost empty on oil. I called every oil company in the area asking for an emergency fill up and nobody was able to make it on such short notice except Blue flame who came to our rescue within an hour! I’m eternally grateful for them and the kind and understanding gentleman who took my call. Thank you so much! I highly recommend blue flame!
I could not ask for a better experience than I received with Blue Flame Oil. Within a half an hour of asking for service, Joe had someone over my house taking pictures for a quote. Quote was recieved early next day with a fair price, thorough explanation of the work to be done and a product description of the water heater to be installed. Within an hour or so of my approval he had two trucks in my driveway. I now can sleep without the fear of my water heater giving up the ghost and flooding my basement. Many thanks to Joe and his guys. It's good to know that there are still good businesses out there and contractors that don't take advantage of a bad situation just to make a buck. I highly recommend and will definitely use again.
I called Tuesday afternoon because my furnace was burning dirty and the next day they came out and got everything up and running within an hour. The technicians were great and super efficient!

Blue Flame Oil is the best Home Heating Oil Company I have had a delivery and furnace contract with in the 16 years I have owned my house! They partner(Ed) with Oyster River Oil Co. and between the two companies you absolutely cannot go wrong in terms of the services covered under the service contract, automatic oil delivery, furnace tune ups, supplies available to repair older furnaces, automation of payment processes, discounts for payment on delivery or within 10 days, and 24 hour emergency services for furnace and hot water heaters! 5 Star ⭐️ Company. Oh, and incidentally, the service rep arrived an hour early to tune my furnace this year! Thanks you guys for always ensuring I have oil delivered before the tank gets to 25% capacity!!!
New homeowner in Hamden, had a great first experience with Blue Flame Oil. The previous owners worked with Blue Flame for years and recommended them. When we moved in, the A/C unit stopped working during a heat-wave week. We were worried about our new infant's safety, and called Blue Flame to see if they could come out right away. Andrew was incredibly helpful, and found a way to get a technician (Dave) out right away even though they were booked. Dave was amazing: polite, efficient, knowledgeable. He got our system working, serviced the entire system, made recommendations, and helped us get back on track during a really stressful time. Everything has been working great ever since. We will remain loyal Blue Flame customers!
We just had our furnace cleaned by Chris. As usual, everyone we have dealt with at Blue Flame has always been polite and efficient. We have used this company for at least 46 years. Highly recommend them.

I’ve been a customer for 4 years and couldn’t be more satisfied. My air conditioner wasn’t working and I called at 6:00pm. Someone arrived an hour later. My unit was 20 years old and needed to be replaced. It was installed within 24 hrs! Joe, Nick and the rest of the crew were amazing! Thanks Blue Flame!
Prompt service. I was given written estimates for oil to gas conversion. Installation went very smoothly and quickly. I am very happy with their service and product. Thank you also I want to add that they went above and beyond by attaching the vent to my hot water heater without asking. It had been an issue for awhile, being installed by another company.
