I contacted a few places to service our central air last minute as our usual person wasn't able to do it. Bill got back to us within the hour, provided a reasonable estimate compared to the other places, and was able to fit us in on the same day. Mike arrived on time, did a very thorough job, walked us through what he was doing, and gave us some recommendations without being pushy. We will use them again in the future and would definitely recommend Direct Home Services.

We recently moved into a new home and had Bill and his team take out the electric baseboard heat and replace it with a high efficiency heat pump and propane combo. Bill was extremely responsive and accommodating throughout the whole process. The team made it clear that if anything isn't right, they'll stand behind their work. One thing that I would've done differently was to have separate zones put in for upstairs and downstairs temp. control, but we may do that at some point in the future. Overall we're very happy with the service and new system!
We have used DHS twice now for annual maintenance, first on our boiler and now on our AC system. Mike P. is consistently on-time, gives solid recommendations (with consideration for age of the system, cost, etc., which I feel have been in our best interest). They were not able to install a smart thermostat we bought directly from Eversource, but it’s not unusual for companies to supply their own parts so they can give a warranty, so nothing against them for that. We will continue to use DHS and will be happy to have them back for our fall maintenance!
The team at Direct Home Services is professional, knowledgeable, and caring. John, Mike, Bill, Greg, and everyone else on the DHS team ensure their customers understand the install process and/or what potential issues are clearly and effectively. They do not overwhelm you with technical jargon.
I needed a new gas boiler in Oct.2022 before winter arrived.Rives came in and assessed my situation and I explained I was interested in the hanging wall unit like I have for my hot water(On demand hot water boiler.)He said they have a similar unit for baseboard heating which is made by Ideal from Europe.I went with this unit and so far am very happy with it.The installation team was professional and did a great job.They cleaned up very well.Hopefully the unit will last many years.
Mike quickly diagnosed the issue with my furnace, fixed it, did some preventative maintenance, and advised on how to spot future issues with my system early all within a less than 1 hour appointment.

Service was really great! Was able to resolve issue quickly. We we’re concerned given the newness of the system. He was able to explain a lot about the unit itself as well.
Had a problem with my boiler. Mike the tech came out, was highly knowledgeable, diagnose the problem and was able to get my boiler up and running again. I would recommend them to anyone.

Mike is awesome. Super professional, friendly, and saved us money! Came out within 24 hours and got our heat fixed quick. Great rates, no up-selling, just good, honest work at a fair price. I won’t bother looking for anyone else, he’s our guy going forward.
Mike and his apprentice came to the house on time and took their time explaining the problems. I got an estimate within 5 minutes. Excellent service. Mike was able to return later in the week with all the necessary parts and completely a significant amount of work in a very reasonable time and my boiler now works perfectly. He took the time to explain what he did and what to do if something were to go wrong in the future. I will be using Direct Home Services in the future and would recommend to family and friends.
Very helpful service, I must say. The technician was very knowledgable as well as he was more than ready to help us out. He heard our problem patiently and provided a satisfactory solution on that.
