I called looking for service at a commercial business for my company, they were VERY rude. said " we never worked with ya'll we don't know how ya'll work, we haven't got a past invoice due at another company (which has nothing to do with us).. I mean the whole point of me calling was to exchange info, all they had to do was ask but okk.....
I bought the IBC combi boiler 3 years ago,every single year happen something different with this unit,since the first winter use. People have to paid $129 dollars + tax for diagnostic and enormous price for parts. The customers don’t have guarantee at all. They are stealing the money to the Spanish community. Very bad experience

This review has been a long time coming. My furnace was red tagged in Jan 2019 and I called Kennedy Plumbing. They were quick and effective in there response time and was able to get me financing that work. If it wasnt for Kennedy Plumbing I would not have known how dangerous my furance was. I will be forever grateful for everything they did while being professional and understanding through the whole process. Thank you Kennedy's Plumbing.
Called because my heat went out. I am a renter, whose landlord lives in another state. The lady was VERY rude and told me she wasn't going to help me. I am in contact with the homeowner and he authorized me to get it fixed. I was going to pay myself and he would reimburse me. I don't understand what her issue is, but perhaps if she was less rude and actually listened. RUDE CUSTOMER SERVICE. The point of this review is not about their policies, it was about how rude the woman was to me. It was the middle of winter and I found myself without heat. I respect rules and policies, however even if you were not going to help me, it was unnecessary to treat me poorly.
Great on the installation, terrible on the repair. Sold us an on demand water heater three years ago, and it has been giving us trouble over and over. Never buy a Triangle Tube boiler.
Kennedy’s Plumbing and Heating converted our heating from oil to gas and installed a ductless mini-split system as well. I truly cannot rate them highly enough! Marie, in the front office made sure that we got every discount, rebate and state-sponsored incentive available. And the crew that did the installation was great- very patient with my 7 year-old’s many questions. I know exactly who I will be calling for all of our future heating, cooling, and plumbing needs!
I am an elderly disabled single woman and at the beginning of the heating season my boiler broke down. I called Kennedy's and they were more than amazing. They came out right away to do the estimate, one of the ladies in the office helped me apply for financing and even though I was denied Kennedy's continued to help me and found a program that not only paid to replace my heating system, it was done free of charge! I'm so happy I called them they truly saved me. I was so impressed I decided to save up some money and had them install a new air conditioning system this summer. Kennedy's goes above and beyond for their customers. I am truly Thankful for all of them!
The lady who answers the phone is rude always. from there no business was done. I called another company who were very nice from start to finish. Hate to say this but read other reviews and others' say the same thing. Get a new customer service rep. or whatever she is.. She is harming your business. Sorry but i would have done business with you except for the rude response of that woman. Think her name was Maria.
I have had the pleasure of working with Kennedy plumbing. From my initial consultation to Marie who sets up and literally take control of the entire process and leave you with no worries, to the professionalism respect and courtesy that she and the service tech, Andre Angel, Ron and Lance shows leaves me with complete satisfaction on the work they have done for me. I worked with Kennedy plumbing previously for over a # of years and has always found myself going back. Absolutely refers this company without any hesitstion. They were in and out on 2 1/2 days cleaned up after themselves and explained everything they were doing oh and not to forget PROMPT. Thank you Kennedy Plumbing
BEWARE - this company is rude, unprofessional, and always looking to send you a bill even for work that they do wrong on multiple occasions. You will always be threatened with a diagnostic fee ($79) for a service call, even if the problem they find was caused by their techs. They will even mandate that you pay them on the spot over the phone and then charge you a 3% service charge for using a credit card, which is illegal in the state of CT, and breaks the terms of their merchant services agreement with visa and mastercard. Marie who makes the phone calls was extremely rude (to the point of being belligerent), the techs were dirty, forgetful, and under trained, and I feel caused more problems than they fixed. In short we had an AC unit that never had a problem until the A coil started a slow leak, the A Coil was changed and the next day problems started with our compressor, one after another, and I believe that most if not all were caused by the "repair" job that Kennedy's techs did. Not to mention they were never fixed by them. We had to call in another company to fix what was broken. If I could rate them less than a zero I would. Do not say you weren't warned... Update 7/16/2012: We have received threatening voicemails from the owner Tim since I posted this review. Yet another reason not to use them!
Efficiency accompanied by courtesy is a a rare combination in today's work world. The courtesy extended to us by your staff, particularly Marie Varney, Office Manager and Dispatcher, was impressive to say the least. In June 2017, we put a call into Kennedy's Plumbing and Heating and that very day she had a crew sent to our home to discover that our A/C Condenser Units were not only old and outdated, but not working. Upon further investigation, it was discovered that the older furnace needed to be replaced as well. Materials were ordered and within 3 days of our original call all A/C Condenser Units were replaced as well as the furnace. We were provided with detailed explanations of the work to be performed which was extremely reassuring since this was a first for us. Their expertise saved us an enormous amount of money in labor and material costs. In December of 2017, during the deep freeze that swept our nation, we had to place an emergency call to Marie yet again as the finished basement had no heat and the fear of frozen pipes was very real! Marie immediately dispatched one of her guys and he was on site within the hour of our call. The old mercury thermostat was found to be not working at all. We were advised to replace all three of the old mercury thermostats with new digital ones. By the end of the day all work was done and the heat was on! Thank you Marie and crew for expediting the work needed to be done, such concern is refreshing and should become more widespread!
Tim Kennedy came to my home to give me an estimate on a IBC Combination boiler. Back in October. He was very professional and organized. The following week his crew came out and installed the new boiler and remove the old boiler and water heater. It took about two days with no interruption of water. I would definitely recommend this Company, they take pride in what they do ,clean professional workmanship.
Kennedy came out to my house checked my furnace the technician said he knows what the problem is inless then 30 minutes the furnace was working it only needed a thermalocouple in less than 30 minuets I was charged $350 plus tax how do they come up with these prices I feel I was over charged for less than 30 minuets of work
A "Technician" came out to take a look at a clogged bathtub drain, before hiring them I was very specific in what I needed done but instead he took it upon himself to snake the drain which I had already done before he came to the house and charged me $297, so they didn't listen to me and charged me all that money to do what I already did, pleasant and it didn't fix the problem, who would have thought?...I called them calmly to let them know the tub still wasn't draining and as everyone else has stated I received attitude from top to bottom, treating me like I'm clueless etc...its just a burn and turn business, as soon as they have your credit card info that's it....After arguing back and forth they sent another "Technician" that was not only rude to my tenants but said he has also fixed the plumbing by doing what the previous one did 2 hours prior....He said it was a ball off hair in the main stack and that he snaked out 40', I guess they think that people lack in common sense as we can all agree that it would take a massive ball of hair in the main drain stack to hold up 100 gallons on water and prevent tubs from draining, and claimed they snaked 40'? that would have put them to the second clean out in the basement.... don't waster your time with them, there are plenty of other plumbers out there that do quality work and actually confirm the fix prior to leaving.
Kennedy's Plumbing and Heating did a very professional job fixing our AC system and replacing a simple Thermostat. Wow. What a difference and they gave us several cost saving tips on cleaning our filters and cleaning the outside condenser..We are now Kennedy clients. Thank you very much!!

Kennedy Heating and Plumbing installed our new on-demand furnace (forced hot water) and hot water heater combo. unit in October when the weather started to change. We did not want to pay for another year of oil bills and this was the best solution. The installation was easy, the staff was phenomenal (both in-office and on-site). The guys that did the install were professional, cleaned up every day after themselves and made sure I understood the system before they left. The new furnace is super efficient, our energy bills are down SIGNIFICANTLY and we have not had to call them once since it was installed. Marie in the office is especially helpful, courteous and always does her best to work with you no matter what the issue may be. I see some people posting that Kennedy's is expensive but, I would let those people know that you get what you pay for! We also have a condominium where we use Kennedy as well and have continued using them for the past 11 years! they don't lie when they say, "Come Home to Comfort, Come Home to Kennedy"! A++++++
I can't say enough about Tim Kennedy, his crew, and his office staff. Every step of the way was a pleasure. Tim is clearly an expert in the field of HVAC, and he had a solution for us that was far superior than anyone else's. He and his staff worked with me on the Connecticut financing, and they really did almost all of the work. I'm pretty sure that by going through with the conversion from oil to gas using the ideas he had, I'm going to be saving much more than I'll be spending on the loan payment (0% loan). Every member of his crew (I think we had 7-8 different people here) was respectful, clean, friendly, and skilled. The quality of the workmanship, from my perspective, is perfect. The system they installed is whisper quiet and does a nice job. Great job and dedication by the crew. And finally, Tim is great with customer service. He is running from place to place, but he always is able to write back to a text or answer his phone (whatever the time of day or night). He even came over to our house at 9 PM to make sure that there was heat for the kids. Marie in the office is knowledgeable of all things financial and relating to the permits, and she told me exactly what I had to do every step of the way. Thanks Tim and the gang!
We converted from oil to gas and the service was excellent. The installation was quick and everyone was very informative! We are ready for a warm winter now!
