Simply put, Joel is the best. Excellent communication, fast turnaround and availability to meet and diagnose our issue, and super helpful and friendly throughout the entire process. We had a 20-year old blower and handler that needed replacement ASAP. Joel was able to line us up and schedule an order and installation time the next day. With J.M. Joel was great to work with from the start. He got our AC replaced within a day after deciding on which unit to go with and is much more reasonably priced than another big box company I had come out. Highly recommend this company and I would not hesitate to use them in the future. I’ve already told all my neighbors how great they are. Joel was very knowledgeable and professional, a good communicator. Only issue was the supply company he uses is not open on the weekend so he could not get the part needed to repair my furnace.I went without heat for 2 days. But he came Monday morning with the part and 30 min later I had heat! He answered all my questions satisfactorily. I would highly recommend!

Joel is our go to expert for A/C repairs. Highly recommended! When the hot weather hit for the first time this year, our A/C would not turn on. We gave Joel a call and he provided some real-time troubleshooting over the phone and he quickly determined it was a wiring issue. He stopped by the next day to check it out and was able to find the problem - a faulty switch inside the thermostat. A/C is now working! Joel is very knowledgeable, professional, and very easy to work with. Thanks Joel for the amazing service! We will call you in the future and recommend you to our friends and neighbors.
Joel is such a nice person. My furnace stopped working and tried reaching many service companies and everyone are really busy like Joel and team, but Joes texted me back asking what is my issue and I’ve explained and shared some pictures. Next question he asked ‘how handy are you’ I said I can manage… so he offered me a few solutions over the phone to try to help and save me a service call. Together we figured issue is with condensation pump, immediately he suggested where to find the pump so I can fix it. He’s very knowledgeable , professional, and I would highly recommend!! We woke up on a morning in November to find out our furnace was blowing cold air. We filled out a service request on the website and added that we have a wood burning stove for heat, too, so it wasn't urgent. Got a text back from Joel quickly asking for a photo of the unit and the serial number, and then he walked us through a couple things and got it working again! I was so surprised. He could have come out and charged us 100 bucks for the visit and instead helped us out for free. It's so hard to find honest people these days, and I always worry about getting ripped off with things like this. J.M. Curtis is a rare gem. He even gave us some advice for regular maintenance on our furnace and told us how to do it ourselves.

I had one of my compressor go down. It ended up being a fan motor. Joel was super responsive and very knowledgeable about my issue. The price to fix the issue was extremely fair and although I did have to wait a few days for a part to come in. Not any fault of JM Curtiss. It was a COVID supply / delivery issue. I would recommend JM Curtiss Energy in a heartbeat to anyone with HVAC issues. Thanks Joel you are a life saver.
