Great at what he does. Knowledgeable in multiple aspects.
Showed up immediately to give estmate, and that was on a Friday stated could do the work that weekend and would call us , Never called or showed up, we tried to call him (Ernest) to find out when he was coming no answer, so we tried calling again on Monay he (Ernest) told us he would be there at 10a.m. no call no show, we tried calling Ernest again no answer, finally he returned our call stated he had an emegency for family whos heater went out, (ok understandable) told us he would call us back and promised he would show up and do the job. It's now Sundaystill no call noshow. Heis very unreliable. He not onlylost that job for us but also lost another job we probably have.

I had an opportunity to work with Earnest of Handy's Heating & Maintenance for a home remodel that I was working on in Pueblo. The real estate investor/contractor I hired didn't finish the work I hired him for and I was left with a lot of work to complete to sell the house. Earnest was referred to me and I hired him to start finishing a punch list at the house that included upward of 50 items including fixing plumbing, drywalling, repairing a boiler heating system, maintenance on a roof mounted swamp cooler, painting, and a bunch of other things. He also helped me maintain the property since I'm not a resident of Pueblo and I could rely on him to do intermittent maintenance and home checks. I can tell you in a world plentiful with dishonest contractors Earnest of Handy's Heating was a welcome change. He was capable of handling a plethora of projects, was friendly and creative, and most importantly charged very reasonable rates. The only downside is that he took a bit longer to do things than I desired, but be finished them nonetheless. As with working with all people you need to keep in touch to make sure things are on track and going well. I would have no hesitation to recommend Earnest or use him again and if I ever needed HVAC or maintenance work in Pueblo or Colorado Springs he would be the first on my list to call. He is also an excellent drywaller BTW. Highly recommended!
