I am very happy with the service I received from J&J. Right of the bat they were polite and professional and came to my house in less than an hour which all left a very good impression. I had no idea what I was getting into when I got a Nest thermostat for Christmas, nor did I realize that the “google expert” we hired to install it was not hvac certified. My furnace went completely whack after the installation due to wiring issues that Google Nest apparently doesn’t care about once they sell you these things and send you on your way. Anyway, the amount of knowledge that Joel had about Nest thermostats and how they work (or don’t work) was incredible. I learned more from him while he was here than I did in two full days scouring the internet for information. He fixed the wiring problem, taught me how to use the Nest to its fullest capability, shared his own experiences with Nest with me, informed me how to reduce dust in my home (not with the agenda of selling me anything), and overall was just a really good guy. Then he randomly fixed my broken doorknob on his way out the door. Like, who does that kind of thing anymore?! Just good old fashioned quality service that I would highly recommend.
The furnace draft inducer motor was bad on the furnace and prevented the gas from turning ON. Called J&J and they responded within the hour. Joel was able to deduce the problem quickly, replaced out the bad motor and had me up and running in no time. I can't thank J&J Heating and Cooling enough for the work they did in such a timely manner. The cost of the job was right, and I will definitely be calling them again.
They were referred from a previous property management company that this who they used so I figured they should be decent. They went beyond my expectations with how professional Joel and his crew are! I even have a friend in the hvac business and he said he couldn't get me a new unit and install it for even close to what J&J did for me! Bottom line owner operated, takes pride in their work, efficient service, best prices in town and my ac freezes folks out they bring a sweatshirt over! I highly recommend to any and everyone!
We originally had another company lined up to come service our A/C and furnace before we moved out of our house. The other company called us the day of service and told us they couldn’t come any longer. Since we were in a time crunch to get everything done before moving, I gave Joel a call and he was at our house within the hour! He was quick and thorough. He also gave us some pointers to keep our house cooler without having the A/C run so much.

J & J Heating and Cooling is the only heating/cooling company I will ever use! Our furnace was acting up the day before Thanksgiving and when I called them at 3:00pm that afternoon they were willing and ready to come take a look. Their customer service and genuine concern for us not having heat told me they were a great company! The issue with our furnace was resolved before they came but I went ahead a scheduled a furnace service and cleaning to make sure it was running properly. Joel came out to inspect and clean everything. He was very friendly and knowledgeable and offered many great tips and advice to keeping our system running efficiently. Great company to work with!!

They showed up because my furnace would not stay lit. They did a thorough inspection before telling me what my issue was. It actually ended up being something minor but they fixed it and we had heat soon after. They were very professional and knowledgeable. I highly recommend them.
