Excellent HVAC company in Colorado Springs, CO. Highly recommend.
Communication is lacking. Good at the job but I didn't feel like I was being listened to. I tried asking Julian questions over the phone before scheduling for a second visit and within a few minutes he asked to call me back in 5 minutes. Never got a call back. Honestly, he sounded annoyed when I tried asking some basic questions. When he came out the first time, my AC was freezing over and he saw it wasn’t installed correctly. Good at the job, but not good with customer communication, which is a big hit for me.
I don't ever like sharing my good secrets, but in this case I'll make an exception. Hunter Heating and Cooling (HHC) are very upfront, honest and straight to business, no BS! If you are lucky enough to have HHC showup to your door in order to complete your work request, take the offer, because they are the BEST and most affordable veteran owned business in town! Trust me, I looked all over Colorado Springs. I love that HHC backs their work on both parts and labor! It's hard to find a good, honest business these days but rest assured my friend HHC is one of the great ones. Thank you so much!!!!!
Julian was great on time and quick with repair. Prices were reasonable
Called the company at night left a message and Julian called back within minutes. Set up an appointment to come out the very next morning fixed our air conditioner unit. Explained everything to us. Told us how much it would cost and exactly what needed to be done, very pleasant and nice and got everything done in less than an hour. He checked everything from breakers to the unit to the thermostat did a great job. I would highly recommend them.
We contacted Hunter when we tried to use the AC to clear out smoke and the AC unit froze. We used a different company in the summer of 2022 and they let us know we had a leak. They topped off our freon so we knew we would need a leak repair this year. I decided to contact Hunter. Julian came out and was very professional in discussing all of our options and the cost associated with them. The best part for me was he spoke to both my husband and I equally and made sure we both understood our options. In the end we decided to replace not only our AC unit but also out Furnace as well. He then discusses out options for replacement and asked us how we use both out AC and heat now so he could assist us with what would be best for it. Julian was able to move his schedule to accommodate us early as we were going to be out of town. He completed the replacement in one day and kept us up to date with what he was doing. He was courteous of my dog when using the side gate and cats as he went in and out of the house. I highly recommend him and his company and could not be happier. Everything passed inspection with no problem and I am looking forward to summer knowing I have exactly what I need!
Julian is awesome. Came out for a spring check up and answered all of the questions I had about the systems and features in my new home.

Furnace stopped working during the night. I called Hunter Heating & Cooling and he responded right away. He was very professional and quickly identified the problem. He showed me all the issues and gave me estimates on repairing the 29 year old furnace and gave me several options on a replacement. There was no pressure on which way to go and he verified he could do either the repair or the replacement the same day. I chose to replace because it was a 29 year old furnace. I’m planning on having air conditioning installed before summer and will be using Hunter Heating & Cooling to do the work.
Awesome service quick and got here real fast . Julian is a great trust worthy man that gets the job done even if I live out in Callahan. Will use him for future work . If he can give me a good deal,lol. Thanks hunter.
When my furnace began screeching, I called around and landed on Hunter Heating and Cooling. He was able to come out that night, was thorough in looking over my furnace, and went over my options for fixing or replacing it with no pressure. The final cost was right about where I expected it to be with no surprises. He was very friendly and very willing to explain everything in detail. Replacing my furnace was no done with no issues, and he was awesome about talking to me about options before making changes to my house. I had been using someone else for HVAC, but Hunter Heating and Cooling gets my business now.
Julian removed our old AC units. He came out the day off to assess the situation and showed up the next day to remove it and dispose of it. He’s very friendly and I would highly recommend him!

I’ve used HH&C twice while living in Fountain. Once for a system tune up and once to install a new furnace. Julian and his crew are professional, excellent with communication, and provide services above and beyond what you would expect. Look no further because you’ll find no one better than HH&C.

Julian came right out for an emergency situation. It is 1 degree outside, and our furnace decided it no longer wanted to participate. Julian was quick, showed up earlier than anticipated, got financing approved, and will have an entire new unit installed in less than 24 hours from the initial call. He was courteous, polite, and honest. They charge on a flat fee, so I had no surprises. 10/10
