We hired 2 other HVAC and Electrical companies, but they couldn't find the problem with the AC unit. Jared was able to track down and repair the problem within an hour. Will definitely use Home Heating Service again.
Scott came in. Nice guy. Honest and took the time to explain options and was able to get me scheduled 2 days later for a water heater replacement. Estimate was accurate, did not pay additional. Quote was $1400 less than both cooper and mr. Rooter. Would recommend to others for service.
AC has been running over time to cool down. Called for service and it was low on refrigerant. Jared topped it off made an adjustment,now it is working as it should.

HHS replaced my aging water heater and ran a gas line for me. The quote wasn't the lowest or the highest, but the guy that came to the house, (Scott) really seemed to know his stuff and was very nice and courteous. He respected my time and followed up at every step. The installers arrived on the scheduled date w/ a text beforehand with a photo of the tech to expect... that impressed my wife. Justin walked me through the install as described on the quote to verify accuracy and that there were no changes and then they got to work. They did the extra little bit I asked for and a little bit more. They asked questions when needed and informed me of locations and operations. Justin walked me through the completed job and made sure all the details were covered. I thought they were professional and competent and I believe the did an excellent job. I would hire them again and refer friends to them.
Hot water heater was repaired. Brady was on time, explained everything that needed to be done. He worked quickly and cleaned up afterwards.

I have previously trusted your company for multiple furnace services, and I've always been satisfied. However, my recent experience has left a bad taste in my mouth. I am hoping you'll want to win my business back for future services. I must say, I'm quite disappointed with the response I received. It seems my concern regarding Lennox catalog # 89M76 was completely misunderstood. Let me clarify once again: this particular part is supposedly exclusive to dealers and comes at wholesale prices. However, I easily found identical ones online for under $40, claiming to be genuine parts. The technician was already in the process of testing the part, which would have taken a mere 30 seconds to complete. Charging a whopping $190 for labor. Frankly, this exorbitant fee seems highly excessive for such a simple task Avoid this home heating service at all costs! They tried to charge me a ridiculous $230 for a simple part replacement that should have cost $30. The job involved replacing three wires and was easily accessible. Their pricing and lack of transparency are completely unacceptable. Look elsewhere for fair and honest service To summarize, my experience with this home heating service was marked by exorbitant pricing, lack of transparency, and a dismissive attitude towards customer concerns. Their attempt to charge $230 for a $30 part replacement that involved replacing three wires within easy reach is a clear indication of their unethical practices. I hope this review serves as a warning to others and encourages them to seek more reputable and customer-oriented service providers in the future.
2023: Ultimately, and after much optimistic coordination with Home Heating, they are very much like many of the other HVAC companies that I have dealt with with in Colorado Springs. After much time and coordination with Home Heating, they will not honor their commitment to quality of service and will perform "inspections" only to serve their bottom line. This actually bums me out to say this since a few of their workers are genuinely honest and hope to serve the customer well, however the company does not echo that service commitment. For that reason, I now (and after a long time of interaction) must downgrade their rating. June 2022: Scott did an outstanding job repairing our A/C (i.e. replaced fan blade, cleaning blower motor & fan, and refilled R22 w/ sealant). A/C purrs like a kitten and is putting out cold air - ready for summer. Thank you, Scott; and thank you Home Heating for the military discount! I think we will go with Home Heating for all of our future HVAC needs. April 2022: Jared came out and gave an updated HVAC replacement estimate - much more reasonably-priced than other nearby competitors. Will likely replace within a few years, however going with reasonably-priced repairs from Home Heating in the near future. Thanks, Jared! August 2021: Max did a wonderful job inspecting our HVAC system and noting areas that actually required repair or replacement. His assessment was far more honest and reasonable than a recent, competitor's assessment, so we will likely be going with Home Heating for our HVAC repairs. Thanks, Max!

So many companies try to up sell and I feel comfortable that Home Heating Service, Inc. tells the real story and doesn't add in a lot of extras to charge you for. It was very hot outside and our air conditioning went out. Home Heating was able to work us in to their busy schedule and our tech was Dusty. He was on time, very professional, knowledgeable, and worked until he found the problem and fixed it promptly. I would highly recommend Home Heating and Dusty. Will call them from now on.
We have used Home Heating for our past and present home. Carlos is the best !!! Highly recommend this company for installation of HVAC systems and maintenance.

Joel arrived and was unable to deduce a remedy for the problem and I paid him $110. He quickly scheduled in Carlos (the same day) to come and troubleshoot the wiring issue or maybes a defective zone relay. Carlos isolated the problem to a newly installed (by me) relay that was defective. My unwillingness to give a higher rating was that I am dissatisfied for feeling like I was over-charged for this service. Granted, I should have asked Carlos how much the replacement relay would cost since I can buy it for under a hundred dollars on Amazon and I failed to inquire. Had I asked and got the answer of over $400, I would have asked Carlos to bill me for the service up to that point and replaced the relay myself and saving myself a lot of money. So now the entire endeavor with this simple repair was over $500. I am not happy about the cost. Home Heating Service has been my go-to for years, and now I’m contemplating going elsewhere.
I always appreciate the great service I receive from Home Heating Service. They have an excellent group of technicians that are always professional and knowledgeable. Today Brady came to service my AC and he did an excellent job. He took his time explaining the service and offered helpful suggestions on how to extend the life of my AC. I highly recommend HHS.
I was referred to Home Heating Service by a local plumber for a water heater repair. I sent pictures of the problem and Chelsea was able to order parts for me. They proved to be difficult to find however Chelsea didn't give up and kept me informed with every step, and when the parts arrived Carlos came to my house and did a great job getting my hot water heater working again! Chelsea & Carlos are continuing to work on getting additional parts we need later but my water heater is a bit unusual so we may need to replace it. Carlos recommended a tech come and give us an estimate on a new water heater in case parts are not available to repair the current one. Michael came to my house to give us an estimate and he was friendly, easy to talk to and sent us the estimate within an hour! Everyone I've worked with at this company is extremely helpful and easy to work with - I highly recommend them!
