We noticed our AC wasn't really reaching the upstairs of our house and looking closer, there was some frost/condensation on the AC line that was a little worrying so we made a few calls over the weekend to try to get in somewhere. Not only did they answer promptly on a Saturday, the gentleman we talked to took the time to explain a fee 'this is what it could be' scenarios. They sent Mark out to us the next day who was professional, very nice and thorough in explaining exactly what was wrong and fixed it. All on a Sunday morning. All with extremely fair pricing. I can't tell you how thrilled we are. We will be staying with Comfort by Design for all of our HVAC needs in the future. We HIGHLY recommend!
mleaper Our 22 year old boiler got a cracked casting causing a slight leak. I called John Pace and sent him information and photos of the installation. After a few days we had an up-dated ‘drop-in’ replacement boiler installed. Nathan and Jeremy did an outstanding job and John turned up during the installation. My invoice was the low end of the initial estimate. So all round a superb company !
Mark was very professional, he was great with the kids and got the job done.
Had Mark come out and did a service check. He was professional, knowledgeable and broke down the terms someone who is not in HVAC could understand. He ran all the tests and provided all the information. I will be using Confort by design again and specifically requesting Mark and his expertise.
Thank you so much Comfort by Design Team! I have never worked with such a dedicated, honest, committed and professional HVAC company. My brother has a long time friend Nate that has worked with the company and referred us to them. One of the tech's Mike came out to inspect our A/C unit and he educated us and our options. We chose to purchase a new air conditioning unit at which Scott Bryant came over and he gave us such great comfort, assurance and what A/C unit would be the best for our home. We had Dillon, Steven and Rob were able to come immediately to install our new AC. They were prompt, thorough, professional, kind, and the work they did together was impressive. It honestly felt more like family was taking care of us than just a company putting our a/c unit in. They came to inspect the A/C unit as well a few days later to ensure that it was working properly. Thank you so much for everything and I HIGHLY suggest using this company.

I cannot say enough good things about Comfort by Design. We are building out our unfinished basement and required ductwork and a bathroom exhaust fan to be installed. Comfort by Design promptly sent Joe to conduct a free estimate. Joe helped us strategize the most efficient way to support the project regarding the HVAC system requirements and find the most efficient cost. After receiving other quotes, we accepted the estimate and scheduled the work to be done within a week. The technicians that performed the work, Steven and Ignacio, were on time for the project to start. They were very professional and diligent in their work. They performed the work over a day and a half, taking care to clean the job site following the completion of their work each day. The billing process was simple. We used an automated payment option. We were impressed with the HAVC department from Comfort by Design from start to finish and would recommend them to anyone in the Greater Colorado Springs area.
Scott and the team have been a pleasure to work with. I would highly recommend them for your furance replacements, furance repair and your air conditioning matienced. They even do air humidifiers and it's really dry here in Colorado so it's a must.
Had a great experience thanks to technician Joe Strobel. Our heater stopped working at the start of winter and they were very prompt with fitting us in to their busy schedule. Joe was very professional and spend a lot of time finding the parts we needed in stock nearby and updating me on the status of the repair. He saved us from needing to buy a new furnace unit.
Tristan did a great job for us. He was on time and professional. We've used Comfort by Design a number of times now and they've always provided excellent service. I specifically appreciate the recap of the work they've done after the service was performed.

We had an issue with our water heater which they had installed. Samuel Hazelet was the HVAC expert that was sent out to us. He came unexpectedly quickly and took care of what turned out to be a quickly rectified issue in a courteous, professional, and friendly manner. He even checked with his master plumber to make sure he had not missed anything. We were very impressed with Sam as we are with his company. We will certainly be calling upon them in the future if we have any HVAC needs. Top shelf company and top shelf personnel.
Had a slight urgent issue with our evaporator not draining properly down in the finish basement where the HVAC system was installed last year May 2019. As a result we had water leaking down in the furnace, the filter was totally wet, and the water was running out on the floor and started getting the carpet wet just outside the furnace room. I called Comfort by Design around 11:45 am. They told me they would have a tech there at 1:30pm. Well, they where really responsive because their tech David Kint showed up by 12:35pm and was on the job. David resolved the issue and even showed my wife on how she can probably check and clean the condensation line in the future and how often for proper maintenance. David Kint get's a 5 STAR Review for his courtesy, professionalism, and going beyond the call of duty. Comfort by Design get's a 5 STAR review because they have kept up their word in what I expect in regards to expected customer service of what they promised me back in May 2021 when I bought the new HVAC system. Sam came out to diagnose our air conditioning. He was very friendly and personable. He explained everything and got the electrician set up quickly so we could safely move forward in the work that needed to be done.
Can’t keep appointment times and do not value anyones time. It has been almost 3 weeks since I asked for a quote. First guy to come out could give me a quote without the electrician’s estimate. 2 weeks pass and I call asking for the quote only to get told the electrician still needed to come. Electrician scheduled to come out yesterday at 0800. 0840 no call, no show so I call the office only to be told they had a meeting in the shop that ran long and he would be leaving soon but still take over 30 mins. I am not retired and can’t continue to take off work for an estimate but that seems to be lost on the company as you are only their time! Poor communication! Guess it is time to go with a different company.
David from Comfort by Design was professional, polite, and did excellent work. I am extremely pleased with the service, treatment, and more than fair pricing I received. I will recommend to family and friend should they need heating or AC work in the future. Thank you.
I really can't say enough great things about this company. This is the second time we've used them. First time for a furnace replacement & this time for a water heater replacement. They made room on their busy schedule to replace a water heater that went bad. I let them know we have out of town guests coming and 3 hours after I made the call, we have a new one. Hard to find this kind of service at a reasonable price. They own my business!
