Great service, highly professional and responsive .
Very poor communication. Never answers the phone. This business is basically non existent at this point.
I am a real estate agent and used Climate Design for my clients home. Very professional and did a great job!!
Mike really was awesome. He really helped us out when our heater went out after we had a whole house humidifier installed. He was very professional and worked hard to get everything running smoothly again. His prices were very reasonable and fair and would absolutely recommend him.
The freaking worst service...more like lack there of. It's been over 6 weeks! They never answer the phone, rarely ever call back, and don't really communicate with the client. I had SoCo take a look at my AC and they actually dug in there to take a better look.
Installed new ac. Didn’t work for 3 summers. They installed bad coils then charged me $400 to replace them. Terrible service. Do not use!
Not sure what happened to my other review from 3 years ago. They didn't soder the condencer coils in my unit properly. I called them to look. They made me fax a copy of my warranty before they would respond. This is after being rude on the phone and hanging up on my wife mid sentence. Every year we have had this unit there had been a problem. This year we have had several REAL hvac tecs come look. Climate By Design sold us a unit 1 size bigger then our duct work was designed for due to the square footage of our home. Our pipes freeze several times a summer and the only fix is $5500 for the unit that is made for our home. For what these crooks did to us I will check several times a year not to make sure my review is posted. I feel no remorse in saying I do not recommend this company and I hope they go out of business.
Very un professional! I set up an appointment and they never showed up! Call them 3 hours later and the owner tells me he was there and that he knocked and also callca my number... well guess what, no calls! No one came to my door (I have cameras).
Similar to another reviewer, NOT recommended due to VERY poor communication. I called to have someone checkout a noise my furnace was making and finally after a number of calls and even using their website, someone finally came out. Once out here, they were supposed to service the furnace and help diagnose what was going on. However, it appears that they did nothing in terms of service except for some dusting and didn't want to stay to hear the furnace making noises. They did tell me to call back and tell them where the noise was coming, which I did, but I NEVER heard back from them after nearly two weeks. I had a good experience with them a couple of years ago which prompted me to use them again. However, after this experience, I will never use them again. Doesn't seem like they care about customers. They just collected my money and were never heard from again! STAY AWAY!!!!
I have been using Climate Design for yearly furnace maintenance and have always been able to get a prompt appointment, It seems like a great family business and everyone has always been friendly! I was recently shown how to clean my sensor and felt that goes above and beyond!
Fast response to a furnace outage on a cold day. Very knowledgeable technician. I'd highly recommend Climate Design for any heating or A/C work.
We recently needed service on our heating system. I called Climate Design and they responded immediately, were at our house within 2 hours and fixed the problem. i have found the technicians to be knowledgable and courteous.
Unit was icing up, I called these people and they came out to tell me to replace my filter which was less than a month old, and to keep my fans running to cool down the ice. Called All Season Inc. a week later and they took the cover off and noticed a carpet like lint coating that was covering the evaporator coils, THEY solved the problem, climate design just charged me $145 to tell me to replace my filter. I hope people read this before calling this company, the other company charges way less to come out and actually tried to fixed the problem.
Tech came out and looked at boiler because it was noisy. Quoted me nearly $600 to replace the impeller. He waived the fee for coming out, which he was not authorized to do. I did my homework and found it was not the impeller, but the bearing assembly that needed replaced. Got it replaced, good as new. So, not only are they overpriced, they are inexpierenced with boilers at least. The company is going after me for that fee, and they need to take it up with their tech. These guys are trouble. Stay away.
Gave me a quote, said they wouldn't charge us for the estimate. Didn't fix anything and then claimed they did and wanted payment. Nothing was signed or approved by us and they came out for a ten minute look. Plus when we did fix the problem it wasn't what they claimed was wrong.
I had the worst experience with Climate Design. My furnace stopped working in the middle of winter. My warranty company recommended this company which was a terrible decision. Mike Edde was absolutely unprofessional and very disrespectful. I scheduled my appointment with him and had to wait 24 hours before he would be able to service my furnace. He had called to inform me that he had finished a job earlier than expected, and was on his way to my home. Unfortunately I missed his call but had received the voicemail he left. When I tried to get a hold of him, it kept going to straight to voicemail. When I finally got a hold of him he stated I had missed my appointment with him. I had told him I did not understand as someone was home and if he knocked on the door some would have answered. He told me he did not care he wanted someone to respond to his phone call. He waited until exactly 2 o’clock (the window for the appointment was 2-4) then left for the day. When I asked him why he left and if he would be returning, he told me no as he was done for the day. I told him I had an infant and reminded him that it is the middle of winter and freezing cold. He stated I should have thought of that before missing the appointment. He told me he would be charging me a fee for missing the appointment. Then told me I could not reschedule and hung up the phone. My warranty company tried to get a hold of Mike Edde at Climate Design but it kept going to voicemail as well. I ended up calling Furnace World and George was there in 30 minutes repairing my furnace.
The furnace went out on the coldest day of the year. Our home warranty company called Climate Design to service the repair. They were quick to respond and made the repair. I would recommend this company to anybody who needs a furnace repair.
I have a tenant in a rental property that had moved in the day before. The next morning the tenant found out that the AC was not working and with the expected forecast to be in the 90's, I knew I needed to get someone there quickly. I called Climate Design and spoke with Mike Edde who was at the property within a couple of hours. A quick diagnostic test revealed the thermostat was broke and a new one was needed. Instead of trying to make a buck, Mike earned a customer by providing advise on how to replace and fix the problem with as little out of pocket as necessary!
Great service. Exceeded our expectations to help with a broken-down furnace. Our furnace stopped working overnight on one of the worst, coldest weather days of the year. The owner stepped in, off hours, to help temporarily fix the problem until a regular repair could be scheduled.
