Apparently the company went belly up due to shoddy installs and lawsuits. The business number goes to one tech who's voicemail is full. I found out after a year that my unit was mismatched to the coil causing the coil to fail. Also, during install, the installers had fumes go up into my sons bedroom. Who knows if it was toxic or not, my guess is the former. What a shame. Now the warranty is useless, and I'm out another couple thousands for someone to do it right.
I'm bad with names, but Philly & Chris were awesome. They had to replace the a/c coils. On the second visit they were in and out in about an hour and half. The first visit was on Friday morning. My complaints are that we had to call them back on Monday to find out that they had to order the parts. Then call them back on Wednesday to schedule the replacement time for Thursday morning. We went a little over a week with no A/C with temperatures in high 80's and low 90's with no contact from the company. It would have been better to have the office calling to say that we had to order parts and let us know the parts were in and then schedule the installation. It fell to us to make contact, even with half deposit given.
Use this company! Hard to find companies in Colorado Springs that you can trust and know there profession. Thank you to Karl!
In April of this year we upgraded our old furnace to a new furnace and added AC to our house in Kiowa, CO. We were VERY impressed with the amount of professional service we received. The gentlemen were extremely pleasant and the job was done in a day. We had two small instances where the company had to come back. Airtech came out right away,the next day, to deal with both instances and the issues were resolved. Even though we had a couple of hiccups, the company went above and beyond to take care of things without hesitation. This says a lot to me and we would absolutely use their service again.
Last minute relocation of my condenser. All other companies gave me a 2-4 week window. Tyler bud the job and had his crew on site and completed the work early!!! Justin Molen was the tech, I would hire him today if I had the chance. Amazing work and results. Highly recommended.
AC unit stopped working on a Saturday in June. Called many HVAC Service offices without response. Put my needs for repair service on ANGI and they called within 10 minutes and Scott was here within the hour. Got the system thawed and working and scheduled a cleaning for the coils the next week. Very professional and very responsive for a hot weekend! Justin came to do the coil cleaning. He was prompt, professional and did quality work! We would definitely use these folks again (and will...we were so impressed with their work that we signed up for their twice a year service plan!).
First time using Air Tech Mechanical. I’m very pleased and will use them for any future needs. Justin came out this morning to do an AC unit inspection and cleaning. He did a great job! He was very informative and so polite.
I have a 2 year-old Whirlpool 18,000 BTU high-efficiency wall-mounted AC unit that stopped working. I called around for three days to find a service that would work on my unit. These guys were the only ones -- THE ONLY ONES!!!--who responded. Tyler and Justin were great. They determined that the unit, though new, had to be replaced as it was not serviceable. I had been told this over the phone by any number of services, but not one of them would do me the courtesy of coming out and examining my unit. Tyler and Justin did. They will be my go-to HVAC guys from now on--and as I own and upgrade multiplexes, I will be using their services A LOT! Thanks, Justin and Tyler!
After going to different companies, I was disheartened, my AC was not working and the repair was very expensive. I bought my house in January 2022 and I had Home Warranty from the previous owner and through them I met Josh from AirTech Mechanical Inc. He was the first technician that was able to explain what was going on with my equipment, why it was not working and what needed to be done to fix it. He navigated the very difficult waters of processing the claim through the home warranty company even though they made it very difficult for him. And I have my system working one day after he came to visit for the first time. He was supper knowledgeable, professional, kind and I'm so thankful to him and AirTech for a five star service. THEY ARE THE BEST HANDS DOWN!
After the first HVAC contractor made a lethal mistake in our house, Scott and his team came to the rescue. They installed 2 new furnaces and added a/c to the upper unit. All of the original duct work had to be removed due to the first contractor's mistake. Scott, Tyler, and Mike were amazing when it came to designing the new duct work. Our job was not typical by any means and this team handled it all with integrity and professionalism. Their customer service is exceptional. I was also very impressed with their ability to calculate the needs of our new system while doing the estimate.
This place! I’m telling you I’ve been pushing off doing ac for a year now and of course I start getting quotes and everyone says I need a furnace too making my decision harder. I trusted Tyler to come give me the word on if I really needed it and he agreed it would be a better decision. I trusted Tyler with his estimate and I am happy with it. The guy also was so honest and straightforward after asking some extra questions I decided to spend more on a better furnace. I’m happy I got quotes from the other guys first so I could know for sure Tyler was the best deal when I saw it because it was….by far!!! The whole team was great and worked with me on some specifics and I’m really really happy with this company. Thanks again guys!
These guys were wonderful. They had my old furnace out and the new one in and functional in a half a day, and that also included installing the condenser for the air conditioning. Wonderful service!!
I have worked for this company for over 5 years and they have been the best family owned and operated company I have ever worked for! They take care of their employees and make sure we always have the right tools and services to make sure we take the best care of our customers and that’s why I love working for them!!!
I was a little nervous after reading so many bad reviews of various HVAC companies, but I had to pick someone. AirTech Mechanical had good reviews, Tyler gave me the most bang for the buck, and he was upfront with no beating around the bush, so I chose them. There was no reason for me to be concerned. They were great. Due to the configuration of my house and some modifications to it, the installation was a little difficult, probably more than they'd expected, but they overcame all the obstacles and installed the furnace and humidfier. The entire crew was personable, helpful, and they nicely cleaned up after. They even helped me shovel my driveway. The furnace is much better than the one they replaced, and the humidifier has already made a huge difference for my family even after only one day. You can't go wrong if you choose AirTech Mechanical.
I will not recommend this company. They installed furnace and AC in our house and blocked my number because I asked for details notes for maintenance.
I just completed my second experience with Tyler at AirTech and both have been very positive. First time was a relatively minor repair and this time for a full boiler replacement. Accurate and fair estimates both times, and once they even completed the work for less than they proposed. Even the permit inspector spoke highly of them. They seem to be top level quality at a good value. A rare combination in my experience.
I wish I could give 10 stars! Airtech has been providing excellent service for not only myself, but my entire family for over 10 years. One call is all it takes! They are honest, knowledgeable, and take great pride in their work. Thanks again, airtech team!
Had 2 furnaces installed and a water heater. Chris and Caleb did a great job. Tyler was great to work with, he was the only one out of 3 estimates that talked about "static pressure" of the existing duct work in relation to the size of furnace and "short cycling" of one of our existing furnaces that was actually over sized. You can trust Tyler to do it right.
One of our zones motors burned out and was causing our system to have issues. They responded immediately and were out to us so quickly. Troubleshot the issue within 20 min and came back later with new zone motor to fix the issue! They continue to be my recommendation to anyone for HAVC and Boiler systems. These guys rock.
These guys are rock stars! I ask a ton of questions and Tyler was super patient with me. Sent me multiple options. Once we signed the contract, we confirmed an install date. They were on time, professional, quiet (I work from home), clean, and got the work done in the 1.5 days they said it would take. They then scheduled the inspections for the city and we got everything done in the same week. Awesome communication and we will be using them 100% going forward to service the new boiler they installed for us!
