June 2023 I use this company for their electricity service the guy who came out side he had 20 years experience now i have to use my bathroom ceiling fan and light switch to run the other side of my home because of how he rigged it up my electricity was just fine until the other day when my side of town electricity had went out Than I started having problems so i contact this company Got charged $400 for this service even with the guy being unprepared for the job site very unprofessional Yes i have electricity but can't really say it's all proper professionally & safely hooked up considering to be able to have electricity on the other side of my home I have to run a bathroom ceiling fan Consistently..... that controls the rest of the power on the Opposite side of my home which I did not have to do before the electric went out over a Storm this service was $400 an to get the light fixed covered put back on would cost me $250 hr for 2 guys to come out I will try and upload the pictures on how this guy left My covers off and used Electrical tape to hold the outlet in place & didn't even Try to use screws to hold the outlet in place So i'm not surprised he didn't put the cover on that's that Extra 250hr
Charged me $700 to diagnose and clean a dirty coil. The technician sat in the car for 2 hours and the job took 6. Can’t imagine how cleaning a coil could take that many hours. SMH
I called on this business for a leak I was experiencing. The initial evaluation was tough to pinpoint. The technician contacted the management team to bounce off and assist. Curtis and Matt stopped by the following day identifying the issue. This saved me a leak detect service fee. They were patient with my questions to understand issue. The work for now is about replacing tile and they even provided a couple references. Grateful for integrity of this business to follow through on tough job and provide me direction to work to get resolved.
Edit 2: Oh my lord, going back to 1 star. When they raised my furnace and AC to fix their terrible job, they ripped off my refrigerant suction line insulator and didn’t even bother to replace it. You can see it frosting in the photos and where they ripped it off. Edit: at first I gave 1 star, now I’m changing it to 4. They called and said they couldn’t make it the day they were scheduled to come out. They came the next day, though. They did the re-install at no charge. Still miffed about the initial bad install and last minute cancellation, but I am glad they owned up to it and did it correctly the second time around. Hopefully my AC no longer freezes over and there’s no lasting damage. Had them replace my 20 year-old furnace with a new Rheem 2-stage furnace. Turns out they didn’t even wire it to use both stages and they sold me on the fact that raising the furnace would “have better airflow.” Well they made the air return WAY smaller (it’s like 4 times smaller than the filter!!!) than it needs to be. Causes my AC to completely freeze over in under an hour. Didn’t notice this problem until I had a technician from a different company come out. And now because of the restricted air flow and freeze-overs, there are leaks in my ducting caused by the increased air pressure. They tried to suggest “fixes” instead of just owning up to their negligence and offering to re-install everything correctly and repairing the damage. When their technician left my house, they said they would give me a call to schedule something within the week. Didn’t get any call from them. Had to call them myself on Friday and lo-and-behold they couldn’t schedule anything until Tuesday because the supervisor and technician are out of town and won’t be back until Friday. Paid $7,000 for a professionally licensed job. Instead I got some idiots that don’t know HVAC 101. I’m retired US Air Force and US Space Force and this is how companies take care of Veterans? So frustrating.
Matt was real knowledgeable and friendly. Got my kitchen drain unplugged - used 2 different snakes and cleaned the whole line to the main line. Cleaned up and answered my questions. Would recommend.
Everyone was very friendly. I had to switch my appointment time multiple times as I’m not in state and had to arrange for someone to be at the house for service and they were super understanding. I received next day service. They called to discuss everything before proceeding. A great company!
Affordable, plumbing, and heat may turn out to be the company I use for the next 20 years since my original company went under and were bought by a horrible conglomerate. Plummer was professional, courteous and took care of business, cleaned up after themselves and it was Affordable,. I’m gonna call them again if I need any kind of repairs I may even shoot at the electrical next time. Excellent company excellent employees can’t be happier.
Service: Preseason check up of my A/C. Easy to schedule for a convenient time. Tech was on time and kept me informed of what he was doing. Above and beyond in being kind to my dog.
Affordable Plumbing has been great to work with. They installed our new water heater the same day we called them out and today they saved us from a backed up drain! They came out within an hour on a Sunday and there were no hidden charges or emergency fees. Their techs are always friendly, on time and the price is right for the services. Highly recommend them for any plumbing issues you might be having!
Austin came after hours to help us with our plumbing after Leo's Sewer & Drain Inc. canceled on us last minute. He was super friendly and helpful and taught us a ton! Highly recommend:)
The plumber was arriving late due to his last job, but, they kept me advised on his status. I did so appreciate the fact that they didn’t take my availability for granted. His workmanship was very professional. Will use them and recommend them in the future.
Not Affordable! Would not recommend the plumbing division of this company. I had a reverse osmosis system installed in November 2022 paid close to $7500. The employee did some questionable work on the install. Had this company come back out in May 2023 to fix the issue, but was charged $305 to repair an issue that should've been covered under warranty. Voiced my concerns to your company, but I never got a response.
Kendall was friendly and professional. Quickly identified and resolved the electrical issue that was preventing our AC from running. Very appreciative of the service.
Nigel was here probably on time very professional and courteous as always. He’s done servicing for me the past three times and I very much appreciate having him come. Affordable is definitely top notch service company.
I haven't had the work done yet. I got an estimate from another company and it was $1000 more. Roy was professional, politer, but most of all I felt like he was honest. He provided me with knowledge, recommendation, and personal experience. He was very down to earth.
The best crew I have ever dealt with. They were on time, answered all my questions, and were professional, fast, and friendly. Affordable Plumbing will be the only company for me from now on.
I just moved out here from NJ. Finding a Good Company was hard at first. I asked all the Professional Contractors and they said Affordable was the way to go! From the phone call to the service call. 10/10 outstanding work! The people that represent the company couldn't be nicer! Austin M!! You're my hero! The person( sorry we can't remember his name) you sent took time to answer all our questions. He found the answers to the questions he did not have answers to. He was very friendly, knowledgeable and trustworthy.
We called for a dripping faucet repair, but it turned out there were other issues that needed to be fixed as well. The guys were professional, and very easy to work with. The price was comparable to what plumbing costs these days. It was nice they were able to get it all done the same day. I'll always hire these guys for my plumbing work.
We had an emergency leak in the pipes above one of our hot water heaters and it was a Saturday and after normal business hours. We ended up having to shut the water off to our house and we have a very large household that includes two babies. No one seemed to be available. Affordable plumbing answered our calland had someone out to our house by 10 pm. He had the pipe fixed quickly and even explained and wrote up estimates on ways to solve future problems. He was professional and courteous and answered all the questions we had. They were Affordable and really helped us out of a jam by having an on call system of employees for after hours. We recommend them and will definitely use them again.
