The tech was friendly, understanding and shared his experience with pests before he became a tech. It was helpful. He did the best job spraying. Hope he is a regular.
EDIT: after a couple of weeks of back and forth Cooper fixed the installation issues and took care of a duct cleaning through one of their partners. This addressed our concerns and I'm changing my review accordingly. Thank you for helping fix the issues! As part of a Costco AC install we are having issues with a return installed by Cooper. We needed some ducting replaced for a section of return. That return was a single piece of metal. The version it was replaced with was multi-section which added 3 new junction spots. The install crew finished the work and left. After that we continued with a remodel in the basement and later discovered that none of the junctions were sealed on the top. And I don't mean they weren't sealed with goop they weren't even connected to each other or the gap connectors they used, they were just left open. They also had not connected a return duct from upstairs to the new return line that they built. They just cut a hole and left it open. This means we pulled lots of toxic dust from our remodel into our HVAC system due to the return being left wide open in several spots instead of being sealed. The crew had sealed the bottom of the return that we could actually see really well, so it feels like they felt we would never see the gaps they left in the top sections. Now we are trying to get help to fix this and the qa person is about impossible to get a hold of, and we really need help. The duct needs to be reinstalled correctly, and then the whole system needs to be cleaned. As of right now, it's been a week since we've found the issues. You cannot call the QA person directly, and the one time she called me I was in the middle of a meeting and was not willing to call me back 15 minutes later, resulting in another day of delays to my construction work in the basement. Hoping someone reads this and escalates and helps after calling the main line for help 5 times with no progress this week.
Technician was professional and thorough. Good communicator and showed me his work as well as teaching me a couple of things about my heating system I didn't know.
Connor, HVAC Tech, was courteous, knowledgeable, friendly, and very professional. He explained the results of his diagnostics and his actions to resolve the issue with my AC. I called on Cooper Heating and Cooling because they installed my furnace and AC and I was very pleased with the installation. Based on my favorable experience with Cooper, I will recommend Coope to all my friends and family, thank you Cooper.
We purchased not one but two systems(furnace and AC) from this company for our 2 homes. Our 5 year old AC started acting funny and we called this company to service it. The coils were dirty and the technician cleaned them for an outrageous price of $479. It was high, but we were hoping he knew what he was doing and that would fix the ac. At the end he said that our compressor gave out and he quoted $3.5K to fix the ac. Luckily we didnt believe him and invited a second company. The replaced sensor (?) and topped of refrigerant cheaper than the cleaning service by this company and now we have a working AC. Needless to say we will never call this company again and would they should be ashamed scamming their customers like this.
Cooper Heating did a good job installing a new furnace and A/C unit in my house. They had the right people there, electrical and HVAC to work towards getting my equipment installed efficiently. Couple of times they were making decisions about changes without consulting us. We caught it and talked it over. All in all, professionally done and done well.
Cooper just wrapped up work replacing a furnace and installing an A/C system in my house, and every member of their team was excellent to work with. From the initial consult with Jim, I could tell they were experienced and precise in their work when he covered aspects of the systems other companies had totally missed, and their technicians were quick, effective, and explained everything to me along the way. The pricing was very competitive compared to other quotes I got (with the same base system price as competitors, I got several thousand in Costco cash back/rebates and a Whole house fan included, which made choosing Cooper a no brainer). The employees made quick work of the system install and acted professionally the entire time. Can't recommend Cooper enough!
We were moving out of state and a day before the movers were scheduled to come our air conditioning went out. I called Cooper Heating and Cooling and they rearraigned there schedule on the spot to get a technician out to help. Shane and Perry came and were able to diagnosis things quickly and get us up and running. I highly recommend Cooper heating and cooling for fast, honest, professional work. Thanks Cooper for helping us out so quickly!
I had Dustin, Brian and Jameson come install a new heat pump yesterday. What am incredible team. So nice, professional, thorough and patient. They worked on this heat pump setup for no less that 10 hours and knocked it out of the park. My house feels incredible and am deeply grateful for their hard work. Highly recommend!
We had our AC installed less than 24 hours ago, and the most positive thing I can say is the AC does exist and was installed. We are piling up issues really fast though, including my basement flooding. The first red flag was when the technician disconnected the wires for my thermostat, couldn't figure out why it said "no power", and left saying the AC was on when it actually wasn't running at all (they heard our house fans running and took that to mean the AC was on). Absolutely flabbergasted. There were 4 technicians here. Additionally they tripped our kitchen power and we didn't find out until later (they apparently don't double-check the electrical box...), our water heater pilot appears to be out, and now our basement is FLOODING. I was able to fix the thermostat myself, and got a very lukewarm "so sorry about that, we'll address it with training". Currently waiting on hold for 10+ minutes trying to address the FLOODING issue, and feeling very, very foolish. The only silver lining is that we bought this through Costco, and I will be reaching out to Costco today if I can't get in touch with Cooper.
We had a surprise outage of our heat pump very near a bout of hot weather. Cooper Heating & Cooling quickly dispatched staff to assess the trouble, formulate a plan to fix it, order the parts, and deliver the fix. Jacob, the service technician worked quickly and professionally, and took the time and care to explain the problem, how it would be resolved, and why we'd likely not hit this problem again in the future. He and Cooper made me confident that the work would be done, done quickly, and done right.
Charles was fantastic! Our condenser unit stopped working a few days ago. I did my best engineer-turned-HVAC-specialist impression and tried to figure out what was wrong — but no dice. Charles made it out here within 24 hours of my calling the helpline (on a Sunday no less), and he diagnosed the problem in quite literally two minutes: it was a dead condensate pump. He had a spare in his truck and had everything buttoned up in under thirty minutes!
Chandler (et al) installed our new HVAC and furnace. They were such a joy to work with and made sure all systems were functioning properly. We are thrilled we went with Cooper.
Curtis Endres was very knowledgeable both on the installation & financial part of the job. He was very detailed taking pictures to make sure the installers know where everything goes and answered all our questions to our satisfaction. We are very please with his presentation without pressure sales talk. Highly recommend him to anyone looking for air-conditioning installation estimate.
Purchased A/C through Costco that was contracted to Cooper. No complaints, they were very fast, nice and super respectful when asking them to keep doors closed for the little kids. They got the job done way faster than expected, quality work that passed all inspections. House is nice and cool. They weren't pushy like other companies, and nobody offered me 50 dollars off my next purchase in order to buy a 5 star review...like the pink truck company did. Solid work, solid people that EARNED this review. Will be using them in the future for services
If you look back through the last few one star reviews here, you’ll see that my husband, Doug Belanger, wrote about the trouble we’d been having with our very new HVAC system installed by Cooper in 2021. That review is from 5 months ago, when we couldn’t get the heat to switch on. Well, here it is June, and we went to turn on the A/C…no dice, the thing is completely silent and will not turn on (for the fourth season change since we purchased it two years ago). I hate to be a person who leaves public negative reviews, but this is bordering on absurdity.
Resolved issues with our previous HVAC system. Added a New Lennox System and Quiet Cool House Fan! Also added new thermostats and more! So pleased by Cooper Heating and Cooler with all the professionalism of work being done in my home with kids, dogs and myself present!
We appreciate the work of Cooper. The employees were responsive to our questions and the new HVAC system is working beautifully. It is a great improvement over our previous system.
Just had my sewage line relined by Brendan, David and Darian. Everything was so professional. Would recommend 100 percent. Easier then ripping up my driveway. Great job guys.
Very professional team. Communication and responsiveness was great. Both teams contacted me with pictures of the technicians and ETA, and showed up when they said. Work was completed with attention to detail and they made sure everything was cleaned after. Definitely recommended
