DO NOT USE THIS BUSINESS...These people are dishonest as hell. We have AHS Home warranty and this company was contracted to fix our A/C. I requested service on 5/18/2022 it's now 10/19/2022 and my A/C is still not fixed When they finally had anew a/C to install they wanted to charge us $4,100 when the repair was only $2,500 but they fought for a new unit even though our unit was only a little over 5 yrs old. The girl tried to tell us it was "code" to replace all the items listed, well we called the city and found out its NOT "code" and when we called back we told her she was lying it's not code her response was it's our way or no way! I said we'll it's no way. I'm tired of being ripped off by companies. I'm filing reports with the insurance commission of California. This has to stop

Work was completed satisfactorily. 2 appointments cancelled by them. I had to loose 3 days to get the job completed. 2 weeks to fix my AC. Very poor communication on their part. I used them because of AHS. Next time I will check the reviews prior to using them again.
Because of this company I’ve had to repair my ceiling twice to a water intrusion from an AC leak. Their poor workmanship led to a repeat issue with my AC system. Additionally they are not on time at all. Two appointments were not within my window of appointment. On one occasion they did not show without any notification. I have had to lose time at work because of their inability to show up on time and for them to come out multiple times to do the repair and to come back again because it wasn’t fixed.
Joe came out and performed a leak test and was able to fix the leak and add refrigerant. Out of all the HVAC services that have come over through my home warranty, this is the best one. Thank you
Jack was very thorough with us. Fixed the issue right away. Friendly and showed up with in the open window they gave us.
I read the tremendous amount of negative reviews for this company and was still trying to be optimistic about getting good service from them. We were not given a choice of the service company as this was through our home warranty plan. I am extremely disappointed with the whole experience we are having with Standlee Heating and A/C. I say 'having' as we still do not have a working A/C unit and it has now been 4 weeks since we started the process. Once it was determined that we need to replace our unit, it took about 2 1/2 weeks for the unit to arrive at Standlee Air. First appointment to install- no tech ever showed up. I called Standlee and was told that a part had been mistakenly sent to Bakersfield (instead of Fresno) and the techs went to get it, but was 'guaranteed' it would still be done that day. Got a call a few hours later to tell me the tech had 'heat stroke' and they would come next day. Next appt. did not happen either. Got another call stating that the compressor somehow was missing or not ordered and we are on yet another delay once again. We are now at a full month with no A/C in what has been up to 110 degree weather with no new unit is sight as of yet. What the F$%^ is wrong with this company?? I see a ton of awful reviews for this company everywhere reviews can be given..... why are they not trying to do better? Do yourself a favor, if you have a choice of business, do not choose Standlee Heating and A/C.
An appointment was scheduled and they came out on a different day when no one was home. They were still paid by American Home Shield.
This company was assigned by American shield to check my ac which was not working. I took time off to be at home for the appointment (8:00 to 4:00). They sent a message @11:58 that technician is running late and did not mention when he would be coming in. I called the company and was informed that technician has to attend two more appointments before he could come to my house. I requested to send me text 30 minutes before the technician arrives. I did receive a message five minutes before he arrives but it was too short time for me to come home from work. I called the company and they said the technician already left because nobody was at home. They wanted to reschedule but I cancelled the order because I was very frustrated as I wasted 4 hours and nothing got done. I understands that sometime things might not work as planned but for courtesy sake let the customer know in advance that you will be coming late. The company did not care to alert me 30 minutes before arrival as requested. This shows that company is not responsive and does not care about customer's time. I complained to American Shield and they scheduled my service with another vendor.
Been waiting for repairs to be completed since 7/18 multiple trips and will not return calls when checking on status
I received a text message on Friday, 10/22 at 2:53 pm that my service was scheduled for Monday 10/25 between 8-12. I immediately replied to the text message as instructed and called because that time did not work with my schedule. As of the 25th I had not received any call back or notice of reschedule so I called again. Someone called me back later on the 25th saying that my service was rescheduled to the 27th for 8-12. I told them that was perfect, and someone would be there. On the 26th I received a text message saying that my service has been rescheduled to the 28th from 8-12. I replied to the text message and tried to call because I was told the 27th. I again received no call back. On the 27th, my husband was home from 8-12 and no one showed up. He left since no one showed up and had been waiting all morning, so we assumed they would come on the 28th from 8-12. On the 27th at 12:33pm I received a text message saying that someone was on their way. I called my husband and he headed back to the house. At 12:48 I received a text saying that the service has been completed. No one ever came to our house or rang the doorbell, and no one ever called. The service was never completed. I have called the company several times as has my home warranty company and Standlee will not call us back.
This is the most unprofessional service I have EVER dealt with. I was assigned this company through American Home sheild. They came out a total of 5 times to fix my AC . After 2 no shows and 3 late service calls. Over a month without AC in July and August in Fresno. The AC is working. We are left with exposed wires sticking out of the top of the unit.The last trip out the service guy hung up on me.SO UNPROFESSIONAL...PLEASE NEVER USE THIS COMPANY
I was assigned to this business by American home shield (another ripoff)!! For work on my ac unit they were the second contractor assigned to me as the first contractor was not open for a week. The standlee contractor said on my first call that they would be there between 4 and 8pm. I called right before 8 and many times after BUT NO CALLS TO ME even after many messages left to their voicemail. Come to find out that this second contractor is not even BBB registered. Their customer care needs ALOT of work!!🤬🤬 I was later texted a msg saying that they had vehicle problems in another town-really wish that they had let me know before I had to make arrangements for my wife to stay with family the new appointment is for Thursday between 4-8pm. This is why I increased the rating. Maybe this ac business is going to be the one that I will recommend to everyone in church 🙏Well the tech came out and said that the compressor fan was not working and that they would be ordering it. Apparently they have scheduled an appointment for Monday between 4-8 pm. I am beginning to believe in this company 🇺🇸⚓️ Well it’s Monday and Joey the tech has removed and replaced the fan and we are so freaking relieved. I have to give some kudos to Joey. This tech was polite, professional and very effective in his skills. Our attorney cautioned for us to give the contractor time and my wife and I are very happy to share this positive experience with others easily.

Updated Review: I had to update my review because the AC Technician Joey came on time and fixed the problem right away. I'm satisfied with his work. AC is now working and I should be able to get a good night's sleep after 5 nights of no AC. Thank you, Joey! ******************************* American Home Shield assigned this company to us and I've tried to call them several times to have our appointment expedited. We have not gotten an call backs. We have a senior citizen living with us and it has been very uncomfortable for her. American Home Shield has also sent this company several emails and also called them but have had no response. But they are unable to change the contractor to a different one. My goodness!!! We will be sleeping in the heat until they come out on July 27th, if they do come out, since I have read other reviews saying that they don't even show up to their appointments!

This company does not return phone calls, is no show for appointments.. very unreliable, unprofessional. DO NOT RECOMMEND!!
Unfortunately if I could give ZERO stars I would. This has been the worst service. AHS sent them out once, service tech was very nice, but didn't fix the problem. A week later the same service tech was sent back out and diagnosed a different problem which needed a part...fast forward to today, 60 days after the second visit from the tech AND I still HAVE NOT received the part. I try to call and get voicemail almost every time. I leave a message and have to call back. I text the number and there is no response; sometimes a phone call. I AM STILL OUT AN AIR CONDITIONER! I would not recommend. If this ever gets fixed I will update my review!
American Home Shield (AHS) unfortunately contracts with Standlee Heating and AC. This company is not accredited by the Better Business Bureau and has a C- rating. My experience: 2 out of the 5 appointments the technician was a no show with no apology. During the last of those no-shows the tech reported that he arrived, that our AC needed follow up, even ordered a part, but the tech had NEVER arrived and NEVER looked at the AC unit. The 3 times a technician did arrive he spent NO MORE than 10 minutes on a call. Everything is confirmed by our cameras. They repeatedly failed to correctly diagnose the problem and stretched things out over 2 weeks without EVER actually fixing the reported problem. When calling the office, my calls frequently went to voicemail or my call was ended completely because the mailbox was full and could not accept messages. I had enough and I ordered Standlee Heating and AC off the job and will also be cancelling our AHS policy. I independently hired an AC technician who spent more time with our unit in one appointment then Standlee Heating and AC did over 3. Our AC was fixed within an hour of being correctly diagnosed and our home is now comfortable. I DO NOT recommend Standlee Heating and AC! Their BBB rating should be an F - Nikki from Standlee Heating and AC was very polite and offered to send me a $100 check for my negative experience plus she apologized. I have not yet received this check but I will update this review once I have. Overall I was out $650.00 from this ordeal.
