First, the good news. My central AC went out at the beginning of a triple digit heat wave. The fan still worked, but it was blowing warm air. My fear was that I had lost my refrigerant (R22, the VERY expensive stuff). They were able to send a tech out the same day I called. The tech checked the system and confirmed the refrigerant was still charged. Now the bad news. The tech took a panel off, looked at a few things and said that he could rebuild the fan, compressor and a few other parts to see if that resolved the problem. In other words, he didn't know why it wasn't cooling. Each of the proposed rebuilds was estimated to be $1000 - $2000. He did the analysis in about 15-20 minutes. I don't know about you, but when my system goes out, techs from other companies would come out, tell me what the problem was, give me an estimate, then repair the problem. I told the tech thanks, but no thanks, paid the $99 and sent him on his way. First and last time I'm likely to use this company.
Was looking for a company that had wholesome family values to work for and they might be the one. I hope to hear back from them soon.
Our service technician Brian came in a timely manner and provided a tune up that showed results immediately. Very friendly and personable, would recommend to others!
Our technician was on time, called before arrival, and left my home clean even though he was in and out of the attic and outside. He was Knowledgeable and upfront regarding pricing as well. No pushy upselling either. Definitely will use them for our semiannual maintenance.
I just wanted to give my thanks to Greener Solutions professional team that has just completed replacing my home HVAC system that was too old and not doing the job of keeping my home cool as the old system was over 40 years old. The Greener Solutions team came out very quick and accommodated me with my tight schedule. The team was very helpful and very knowledgeable and professional, not to say that they were courteous in every way. They came out and inspected the old HVAC system and found out that the system was basically shot and needed to be replaced. The most concerning was that the heater had burn marks that indicated that the flames had jumped outside the housing and could’ve caused a house fire. So, I really wanted a new system installed right away because the temperature is rising due summer heat. I thought it would be necessary and wise for me to replace the unit ASAP. I worked out an equitable deal for a new system and the whole team immediately began on a plan and sent team members to start the process the same day. The owner of the company even came out himself that day and started working on having the old system removed. I was pleasantly surprised at the level of response and timeliness of the whole team. The fiancé department also hooked me up with a loan to get the project going. The team accommodated me by coming out the next morning and installing the new system that was professionally installed by a capable team. All team members from top to bottom were very professional, courteous, knowledgeable and pleasant. I would like to thank each and every team member: Hayden (owner), Carlos, Manny, Jesse, Khalil, Adrian and Gary, and the financial team who helped arrange for the loan. Hopefully my memory hasn’t failed me in mentioning everyone involved. The system was installed and tested and worked as expected. I’ve had a chance to use it for the past couple of days and it’s awesome. My home 🏡 is nice and cool which is perfect for the happiness of whole
So I had high hopes for this company based on their great reviews. The technician we had yesterday was polite but unfortunately I am very troubled by how they do business. He told my husband he was thinking it would be $1500-$2500 so I was planning to move forward. Once he got off the roof it turned into $3200. That hurt! We let him know we would get back to him after discussing it. He told us to “put it on a credit card” we are not a credit using family. Anyways I felt fishy because he couldn’t tell my husband what exactly was wrong just that we needed an electronic overhaul. I decided to give an old coworker a call to come give me a second opinion because he used to do HVAC work. He fixed it in 10 minutes. It was just a small can that was bloated and needed to be changed out. He charged me $80 I understand that is a friend price and all companies need to make money. But this is just predatory. On a single income family. I had to speak out and urge others to get a second opinion before using this company. My ac works great now not even 24 hours later.

Another coffee mug added to the cabinetry. Clever findings of the service person. Paid $40 just to find out that our hvac had leaking oil from furnace motor- negligible after 22 yrs; had rust spot on one outlet ground floor- moisture in hvac- NOT True, Calcium deposits on spill tray- water leak- Not true. So with all those issues the tech refused to work on our unit to fix the c wire issue that Blue horizon fixed without any problem. Honest review by homeowner. No buttering involved
They did an amazing job overall, the support I got from Kathleen in setting up an appointment and the timely calls to coordinate scheduling and appointment confirmation and arrival was very helpful. Robert, Pedro, and all of their technicians were all amazing, nice, and considerate. They respect your home and strive to keep it clean or cleaner than they found it. The job was done in a timely manner without sacrificing quality and they worked with us to get the best deal and maintenance plan. Overall, great experience and definitely a trustworthy business that is worth contacting and working with.
This holiday season I want to thank this company and congratulations to all the man who successfully cause pain ,scars and teach me a lesson of what a man can to a woman . My service man Carlos Rivera was punctual, very knowledgeable and pleasant to work with. He took care of cleaning my outdoor AC unit and replacing my indoor filter. Very professional and patient. From Robert to Julian and Pedro we were very pleased with our outcome. They were all very nice and completed our repair in a timely manner and it works great! Highly recommend!
We renewed our VIP maintenance plan and Julian and Pedro came out to perform the summer maintenance. We had some issues with the AC not cooling down as well as it should, and they took the time to diagnose the issue. Our unit was low on refrigerant so they refilled it and sprayed stuff to plug any potential leaks and got the AC back to cooling the way it should. Julian and Pedro were friendly, polite and courteous and once again we are happy with Greener Solutions' service and their team.
After researching several different local heating and AC service companies, I decided to go with Greener Solutions. Greener Solutions is a top notch company with high quality employees. Cory is well prepared every time he comes. He kept me informed of what was being done and he took extra care to be sure that I stayed informed about everything. Cory is knowledgeable, professional, friendly, helpful and answered all of my questions and concerns. He is flexible with my appointments if something comes up. I set up a safety check appointment based on a flyer I received in the mail. Having used Greener Solutions before for my mother's house I felt I could trust them to do a good job and give me an honest evaluation of any needs on my almost 25 year old HVAC system. Technician Bret did a very clearly thorough and careful exam, cleaned and blew out some internal components on the furnace, tested electronics, measured a/c temperature and airflow at vents in house, went on the roof where condenser was and tested its components. Since the compressor is on the roof, ive never done maintenance on it in terms of like cleaning out the very fine cooling fins. The air always seemed like it was cool coming from vents. He recommended cleaning the condenser and was able to do that additional service while he was there using a special foaming cleaner and lots of rinsing. The temperature at the house vents after this dropped 5 degrees. I will probably pay for the cost of the service by the improved efficiency of my A/C this summer and be more comfortable too, and less stress on the a/c equipment. So Pro Tip: get your condenser cleaned every year at least, or learn how to do it yourself, and youll save a lot of energy. So i think I really got my money's worth from the safety check service and additional condenser cleaning. I put our system on an annual maintenance program which i feel will both save energy and extend the life of my system. If i need to replace my system at some point, I would feel confident asking Greener to do it. They have proven to be reasonable, honest, thorough experts who know what they're doing and how to treat customers right. 5 stars all the way.
The entire process, from the time I called to schedule an appointment to having the A/C repaired was conducted professionally and without any issues. I was impressed and admittedly surprised with the exemplary service. Everything that was communicated, which including getting callbacks and techs reporting as stated was refreshing. The Sr. Service Tech (Bret Pollard) conducted an inspection of my A/C and relayed his conclusion, including explaining what he was noting along the way. Cory completed the job the following day with the A/C working accordingly.
