I had been in contact with KC Home Services before covid. After the last few years I have finally had a new furnace installed and could not be more pleased with the staff at KC Home Services. From the time I met Brooks until the final installation the experience has been good. Excellent when things were not know and questions asked and the week after questions. All questions were answered to my satisfaction. Thank you so much for your professional care.
I contacted KC Home Services and they had been booked out about 3 days - we had no heat coming from our heater. I was booked for a time between 2-4 on a Thursday, at 1pm they texted stating they would not make it and would need to reschedule to the following week. I tried to reschedule and got no response from them it is now Tuesday of the following week. Still no heat and still no response from KC Home Services. I would recommend contacting someone else if you need help. Such a bummer.
KC Home Services is our go-to for plumbing. The service is fantastic and their team’s highly knowledgeable. We installed a UV filtration system, water softening, toilets, faucets, and had leak repair work all completed by KC. Travis W. is our trusted advisor at KC for any and all of our plumbing questions/projects. We know with absolute certainty the project is getting done right when he’s on the job.
This was the initial bid for a ducted heat pump installation. Brooks, the rep, inspected our existing system, and explained how the heat pump would be configured. He wrote up two bids, one for each brand. The only reason it wasn't five stars is the appointment window was 10-12, and I received no message until after 12pm, then he showed up around 12:45pm.
Michael had my furnace up and running in about 5 minutes. He was very knowledgeable friendly great sense of humor and empathy as I'd been without heat for a month as the other company I had asked to come out really did not take care of my situation and totally misdiagnosed the problem. Fortunately my handyman suggested I find somebody else and I found KC and Michael came out and took care of the problem rather than having to wait another 3 weeks for a part that wasn't even necessary.
Everyone at KC Home Services was friendly and very helpful. They were also incredibly knowledgeable and took the time to help us discuss a fairly difficult upgrade of both the furnace and AC at our house to a heating pump system
Michael was great. Office organization maybe could’ve been better. Our original appointment was rescheduled without our knowledge…I didn’t know until no one showed up at the appointed time. Office person I spoke with was apologetic and as mistakes happen, we will try KC again with future work.
They installed a pump on our hot water system, came back to tune it up better, checked our crawl space piping and installed a new utility porch sink. Then returned another time and installed a dedicated hot-water line and timer so we will now have almost instant hot water at the far end of the system. Happy campers!
KC was friendly, professional, super responsive and excellent on all counts - especially customer service. If I could give them a 10 I would!

One of my vents didn't seem to work lately so I called for service late on a Friday. I was scheduled for the very next Tuesday. Michael G came, checked it out, went under the house, and redid all the connections for that vent. All my other vents were fine. This was a recent development, and there didn't seem to be a reason for the issue, but now there are no leaks, I have heat from that vent, and I know I can count on KC Services to take care of me. Thanks again for providing wonderful service!

My technician was Brooks Robertson. He was professional and personable. He provided the information I needed to make an informed decision as to how I will proceed with replacing my 20-year-old furnace with either a new gas furnace or a heat pump system including potential rebates and financing.
KC Home Services is amazing. Always receive a quick response to our problems and they get a service person out very quickly to resolve issues. We have had them to our house to resolve a sewer issue and they are professional, on time, and reasonably priced.
When our furnace died on Dec 26th KC Home Services was one of the only places that was open due to the holidays. They responded right away! We decided to go ahead and replace the furnace with a new heat pump and new ducting. Our project was rather large (bad crawlspace, sump pump needed, rainstorms ensued) but they powered through and got us all set up. They were friendly, communicative, always on time, and knowledgeable. We are satisfied with their services.
Can’t express enough positive about this company. From beginning to end, each and every employee that was sent to our home to install a new heater and air conditioning unit were exemplary in appearance, conduct, manners, professionalism, consideration of our needs, Unfortunately I no longer have the full list of each person involved in these projects; Darren P. And Rick C. come to mind, but I can only say they were all wonderful. Of course the first person you might connect with when calling KC Home Services is Virginia who does the scheduling. She exemplifies the spirit and helpfulness right from the get go; always a pleasure to talk with her. My recommendation for this company is at the top of the scale, and maybe a bit over.
