Took care of my AC and heating needs annually and when it broke they came and fixed it asap. And the tech and owner seem to be very professional and I recommend there services !!! The price and quality is worth it
It is getting close to 2 months now and the contra costa team has done nothing regarding the inspection feedback. They made an error when they applied for the permit but they are making no effort to fix that and close out the issue. They have not been communicative either and I am tired of reaching out to them. This was through Costco and I had hoped for better service and this has been disappointing and a waste of time.
we had to work with contra costa because our installation was done by builder using this contractor and they had access to my lennox warranty . They are very unresponsive . They never attend calls and hardly gives call back for voice mail. Our thermostat went bad before warranty time, i requested them to replace , they placed a old placeholder and never came back to finish work order . They switched off my gas valve in order to test thermostat and it rooted to another problem due to which our heater stopped working . Later we were reported by another contractor hired by us that some one had switched off the gas valve.
Terrible! Disappointment after Disappointment! We ordered this through Costco, met with a nice sales person and were happy until the job was done and the internally finger pointing started. The heat was too hot in the bathroom, we asked them to make some adjustments and suddenly, it was like we had declared war. They wanted to charge us for a whole new venting set up. The technicians blamed the sales man, the sales man blamed the technician and the office administrator (Julie) did everything to avoid us. It was a bad experience! Finally we reached out to Costco and met with the owner, who apologized , made some corrections and things were fine. Then, when we called for our annual maintenance, they said it wasn't included, even though we had a 5 year maintenance contract. We had to show them the contract and then they apologized and finally agreed to service the system, 24 months after installment. Again, we thought everything was back on track ... called after the storm and a technician came by and said the furnace needed to be replaced. Tony scheduled a time for a new furnace quote when Julie called abruptly to cancel the service and told us to go somewhere else. When I asked what was going on, she said they would not work with us and told us to call another company. So... my warranty, my maintenance and service are all paid for... but because I complained about the heat flow, this company will not honor our agreement. We will be sharing this with Costco and the better business bureau! Look out for companies that are not honorable.

They were sent by Costco, the representative came by and gave us a quote to install a new Heat Pump and Furnace. We had also discussed that all duct lining and the line set needs to be changed as per the new specifications for the new unit. He sent a quote that evening, when I initially read it it was missing 2 ducts and no mention on changing the line set. So I called the next day and left him a voicemail that he needs to update the quote to the agreed upon terms. Later that evening when I checked to see if there was an update the quote was not accessable. I called the representative and told him that I was not able to access the quote and his answer was "when prices get changed the quotes are not available" and hung up. All we had asked was for him to update it to the agreed upon terms.
The crew did an excellent job replacing the furnace and adding AC. They were on time, clean, friendly and very capable. The job was completed in two days with minimal disruption to our daily routine.

I am so thankful for everything Contra Costa Heating and Air did to help replace our heater and install central air in our house. Since we have an HOA, the process has been a little harder trying to get everything done exactly how the HOA wants things. However, since the beginning meeting with Tommy to talk through the details, we knew we were in good hands! Everyone from the company was extremely professional, polite, and helpful throughout the entire process. Even when I called the office they sounded generally happy to hear from me, which was so nice and made me feel valued. I would absolutely recommend this company for your air conditioning and heating needs! So professional, quick, great work, and everyone was so nice!!! 10/10!

Manny and his crew were amazing. We bought our house August of 2021. The 4th time we turned on our heat, it blew carbon monoxide all throughout our house. The people who we bought the house from and the owners before them who renovated the house, lied to us and the heating never worked and could have killed us. We called in Manny and his crew for this serious situation and they are the most knowledgeable at their trade. They were able to figure out exactly what the original installers did wrong, and what the previous owners guys did wrong trying to bandaid the problem. You can trust Contra Costa 100%. They are the right team for any problems you’re facing with heating and air systems. I now have a new system that works perfectly and I am so grateful to them.
I gave a rating of 1 star back in May for the reasons explained below. The firm president Anthony contacted me and apologized for Operation Manager Teo's unacceptable email. There have been a few technical problems since then, but support by lead technician Pete and Marlo has been very good. They came out and fixed the zoning (loose wire connection) once. Late the cooling was weak, but Pete came out and fixed the problem. The system is working well now. Because of the continued responsive support, I increased my rating. May 11, 2021 I signed contract with them 10/1/20 (over 6 month ago) to add AC and replace a furnace. The AC is still not operational. A zone control board was responsible for part of the delay. They cancelled on me last minute last week because of other jobs. Maybe they will finish tomorrow. We'll see. I could put up with the delays if they did a top notch job. Sloppy roof penetration led to rain leaking into our attic in January. I was patient with them for a long time. I have been trying to stay positive about this firm, but today I gave into reality and have accepted that I picked the wrong shop. Sales rep Henry was nice enough. The technicians seem to work hard, but are not allocated enough time to finish the job. Operations Manager Teo Seeger is generally unresponsive. He finally responded today to an email regarding a concern I had about the condenser unit placement. He did not answer my question. He only wrote, "This is installed 100% to code". Code is the minimum requirement and was not my question, but maybe that's the best he or his shop can do - code compliant. I cannot recommend this firm to anyone.
They did a great job and installation was flawless. Time frame was much quicker than expected.
It all started with Tommy Rojas the sales person. He is very pleasant to work with and not 'pushy' at all. He listened and offered cost-effective plans that included quality equipment that fit our budget. After we agreed on type of equipment Tommy arranged the rest of the work flow from arranging for the duct removal (asbestos) to installing the new ducts and equipment. Next was Alex and his team who did the actual work of installing the ducts and equipment. Alex and his crew were very respectful and made sure to keep clean our flooring as they proceeded to remove the old equipment and install the new HVAC. They went beyond expectations because they did small repairs not necessary to the HVAC replacement, they cared about fixing small things such as the door to the HVAC closet and provided extra air filters. Once HVAC installation was completed and functionally tested, Alex made sure to explain the operation of the new thermostat, equipment and answered all our questions. We are extremely pleased and highly recommend the services of Contra Costa Heating & Air Conditioning. Big thumbs up to Tommy, Alex and his team!!
Do not expect timely service from these guys. Communication is poor and work can never be done. Lady on support call is totally waste of time. you keep calling and response is same that she will call you back and she never resolve any issue or call you back. Each time you call, she starts like new call again and again you need to explain .. The worst part, call ends same that she will call you back and she never calls back or resolve any issue Very unprofessional service . Will never work these guys again.
We recently purchased a 4,000 sq ft home in Novato,CA. Both the gas heating and air conditioning systems needed to be replaced and large sections of duct work needed to be replaced as well. We engaged Contra Costa HVAC to install (2) Lennox Elite EL296V gas furnaces and (2) Lennox 16 SEER Condensers. The installation team consisted of three very hard working, knowledgeable and highly skilled field service technicians. Alex was our team lead. Over a three day period, they disassembled and removed the old units and installed and tested the new systems. The quality of the workmanship really shows in the welds, alignments, configuration and aesthetic appearance of the wrapped and insulated units. We were pleased with the consideration given in adjusting air-flow to provide comfortable heat and cooling throughout the house. We would recommend the services of Contra Costa HVAC to others without reservations.
Pricing is only one part of the great experience with Contra Costa Heating & A/C. Especially in these days of Covid-the care, attention, professionalism of the entire team in my home was excellent!

We had an air conditioning installation today by Contra Costa Heating and Air Conditioning and the experience was fantastic! They sent two crews and got the entire installation and system check completed in just six hours. Every part of our experience from site visit, estimate and installation was professional, touch less, and current covid-19 aware. Awesome Job, we should have done this 10 years ago.
Had a Lennox furnace installed 2 years ago and decided to add AC this year. Installation was done in 2 days and crew was very professional. We ran into a problem though since the AC water pump wasn't turned on properly so there was quite a bit of water damage to the 1st floor ceiling. I called and the next day the office arranged for someone to come out and take a look. Another crew was dispatched to inspect everything and fix the damaged drywall. Wasn't exactly the smooth experience I wanted but nevertheless I'm impressed that the company spared no expense in fixing the flaw and ensuring that we were happy with the results. I think how a company acts when things aren't perfect tells you a lot more than when the install is clean. Definitely would recommend these guys.
