Amazing Customer Service
We had a slightly complicated situation in which some areas of the home weren't getting air from the ducts. DG Heating was the only company that correctly diagnosed the issue and fixed it. They did everything that they promised and more. They were professional and on time. They have also provided any support that we need after the installation without question. Obviously, we haven't needed much because it's a new install but any questions or anything that we have had were answered quickly. I highly recommend DG Heating and Air.
Fixed PVC white pipe connect to metal sewage in my attic . Wonderful job. Best thing is Jesse James also reminded me to ask for hydro restoration service to check up wet area situation. Indeed, sadly enough, water dripping from pipe wet some attic area.
AC stopped working during a heatwave. We were worried we’d have to wait forever to get it fixed and that it would cost a fortune. Someone from DG came and sorted out the issue in no time, and without hassle!
I originally got estimates from 3 other companies to install an A/C. In the process I learned that I want to install Mitsubishi brand A/C. The company that I initially wanted to hire kept changing the price due to estimator’s mistakes to a point that I could not trust them. DG had high yelp rating and is a Mitsubishi installer. So I contacted them as the 4th company to give me a quote. I had a tight timeline and was very busy. I received excellent customer service from DG representatives, Raelene and William. I felt I could trust them because they did not over promise to receive my business. They had comparable price and had great yelp review. So I went with them. The job was completed on time. Upon my check of the work, the egress air did not seem strong and there was a hole left on the furnace closet due to furnace replacement. John, the owner, came to inspect the work and had his people cover the hole and replace the vent covers for free. The installation was good; the problem was with the vent cover and debris in the duct. The installation passed the permit inspection at the first inspection. One thing I wished I knew was Mitsubishi split filter cannot be purchased at Home Depot and each filter costs $50. If you had issues getting your request resolved after the installation, contact John. :). He will take care of the matter.

Above excellent service and caring!!! We are at University Gardens which has specialized needs for townhouse... We originally had a unit going out, they were very accommodating in help us limp along 4 an extra 4 years till we were able to replace our A/C-heating unit... When we were ready, the were out right away to give an estimate, the estimate was TOTALLY REASONABLE and extremely fair!! They got us in right away! The crew were professional and on point! Just to let you know as potential customers, the other bids were ridiculous because DG knew our building and the nuisances of our complex. They were completely prepped and ready. The unit was replaced and working the same day. I cannot say enough good things about this company!!!! Thank for from both of us!!
I had called DG Heating & air conditioning for my mothers home in San Jose. I left a message on a sunday, The owner returned me call with in 20min. John informed me on what steps to take, on Monday he had Eddie The service Tech come out to fix the heater with in 10 minutes, He found the problem and fixed the heater.. The service was great. I met with ~10 companies before settling on DG Heating. They are professional and thorough. They replaced my ductwork in the time quoted and will come back anytime to adjust the dampers. I had a small issue with condensation and they came the next day to fix it. There was some miscommunication between my husband and I resulting in overpayment and DG contacted us immediately to send a check. Honest, professional, quality work.
The professionals from DG helped us with a complex AC installation for a condo during the peak season of summer for a competitive price. There were complications with delays due to tenants moving out and they had to figure out the right solution to route everything. During all this I had great communication with the team, they were extremely patient, we looked at several low noise equipment options. Then they managed to squeeze me in into their busy schedule, the crew came out to plan everything and then came back again for the install. That took a day but everything went smoothly as they worked orderly, quietly and cleanly, patched up all the sheet rock and made sure that I was happy. Highly recommended.
Appreciated the prompt response and service by Richard and team. Back office was pleasant to work with. Competitive price and they deal with the best HVAC system - Trane and American Standard. Install team (Alberto, Giovanni and Jose)were prompt, friendly, responsive and professional. Completed move of furnace to Attic on time and cleanly. No drama. Very much appreciated.

I used DG Heating and Air Conditioning (San Jose CA) for my recent install of air conditioning at my home near Redwood City. I got three other quotes for the work, and DG was actually the best price. I was very satisfied with the work performed and the professionalism of the crew. I was astounded at the amount of work that the crew of three accomplished in just one day. They did a good job of cleanup and the system works great. This was a job to add an air conditioner to my central heating furnace. Working in a cramped dark attic is tough, and they had to move some heavy things around. I give them five stars and a good recommendation. The system passed duct pressure test and inspection by San Mateo County on first try. Now I have cool air in my home at the touch of the controls of my existing thermostat. Ready for a hot summer, thanks guys!

Decided 2021 was the year to install AC in our house (already had central heat). I contacted 3 companies and decided on DG and so glad we did. The installation team was very respectful, friendly, and arrived on time. They completed the job in one day as planned. The customer service from start to finish was great too. Since it was cold on the day of installation, the office has set up a date in a warmer month to set up time to charge the AC unit. Highly recommend.
My furnace blower ran but no heat. They returned my called. Edmon Sawa and a technician came over. They diagnosed as the pressure switch issue. Edmon gave me the $95 service charge and said that they would check and let me know how much for fixing. After 2 days, I called Edmon, he, again, said that he will give me the estimate. No estimate ever came. I wiggled the wiring in the furnace and got heat again without replacing anything. They only want the service charge. How can they have 4.9 rating? Stay away!
John is the best,honest,on time , n good value and very professional. I use them installed the heating unit last October n 2 weeks ago they installed the A C unit it save my life in this heat .Thanks John
They did an install for me some years ago. Installers were professional and timely. Quote was competitive. Had one small issue which the fixed promptly. Recently had a warranty issue on the hardware and they fixed it very quickly. Would use them again if I had the need and recommend them as a consideration for anyone in the market for a install.
John and Mike are consummate professionals who won't look to upsell you on anything. Their team is speedy, thorough, and focused on delivering value to the customer. We couldn't be more happy with the HVAC unit they helped install on an older house. They've always been respectful and prompt in their responses. Can't recommend them enough!!
