Grifters all. I needed an upgrade on my thermostat for a Carrier Infinity system. I asked if they were certified Carrier techs and they said yes, they were. I told them I wanted a Carrier thermostat instead of the cheap one I currently had. They said they could do that. The system they installed was a Google Nest. Not at all similar to Carrier thermostat. It functioned exactly like the cheap one I wished to install. I then turned to West Coast Appliance. They really are Carrier certified. They installed the proper Carrier thermostat and it works beautifully, completely different from the Nest.
