A/C Mechanical Sol Inc. was highly recommended by the people on Nextdoor. Mel came out in March and diagnosed our AC and found that the capacitor was bad and Freon was low. Mel did not try to sell us a new unit. Since March was still chilly, we waited for weather to warm up. A week (June 23) ago Erik came out and replaced the dead capacitor and topped off the Freon.
Dave and Erik and their whole team are the best HVAC folks we have ever dealt with. So polite, very reasonably priced and great about getting us on the schedule in a timely manner. Highly recommend these guys.
Our family had a wonderful experience with Mel and his team. They were very professional and courteous. The initial quote and scheduling for the work was also friendly, professional, and respectful. The team made us feel comfortable by providing all necessary information to make an informed decision on services, and were priced very fairly. When our 40+ yr old gas furnace began to fail, we decided we needed AC added when we replaced the furnace. Saw personal references to this company on NextDoor and called them when the heat wouldn't come on one of these rainy cold days. Mel talked me through how to get it going again, without charge. So I asked him give me an estimate to replace the gas furnace and add AC to our 1950's, 1500 sq. Ft house (many times remodeled). It seemed reasonable to me compared with pre-pandemic estimates I had received to install splits only, with NO upselling. Then the old furnace failed again. Mel was able to move things around and set an early date to install - a 1 to 2 day job. His workers (principal guy Carlos) came on time, were very knowledgeable, professional and accommodating, (just like Mel) and rolled with the punches our quirky house and owners provided. Mel came both days to check on the job. Job was finished on the second day, as promised-- Outstanding experience. Mel was just as the references said: honest, reasonable, and I add knowledgeable and patient! Impressive! Highly recommended!
We had an excellent experience with A/C Mechanical. We just had a new HVAC system installed in our home. A/C unit outside and Heater / Coil in the attic. We got the referral from people on Nextdoor. We checked out others that were also recommended, but A/C Mechanical Sol had the best price, advice and they give the best warranty compared to 6 other companies we had quoted. So we were confident that their installation and the equipment used would be very good since they provide such excellent warranty and have been in business for a long time. The installation was very clean and professional and they made sure everything works perfectly. We are very happy with the service from A/C Mechanical Sol and highly recommend them. Dec. 2022 We needed a new HVAC system installed in our rental condo and used also A/C Mechanical. Their quote was again less than other companies and A/C Mechanical uses quality brand equipment. Again, we were very happy with the complete process and install. Great work and very honest. With a lot of places nowadays you get so overcharged for the same (or less) amount of work. Highly recommend A/C mechanical.

I used this company a couple years ago and they did a great job then . We moved to the new place and I decided to call them again based on my prior experience. Unfortunately, this time was a huge disappointment. First, they sent some technician for service call who was supposed to check our AC and he said that everything was working fine. After his visit I've noticed the leak from AC on the roof. I called and spoke to the owner Mel who explained what would be the reason for it but he didn't take any responsibility for his worker's bad diagnostics. I asked him to come himself and have a look which would be an additional service charge. On the day of my appointment I received the text that someone else is on his way. They've never notified me that Mel couldn't come. Also, they've never called me to admit theirs's slip or reschedule. It's too bad because I liked them the first time but this time the customer service went downhill with this company.
On time and diagnosed the issue and covered under warranty!
Erick the technician was really knowledgeable and did not try to sell us a new unit and did a repair for us. I called in the morning and they came in that afternoon, outstanding service!
I had an A/C install and it was an amazing customer experience. Top to bottom my experience was top notch. I just bought a new home and have been working with contractors for a few different projects. A/C mechanical and Sol without a doubt been the easier company to work with. The quote was quick easy and competitive, the staff was very knowledgeable and was able to get everything installed seamlessly. And to top it off their staff has been extremely friendly, nice and understanding as we worked together on the A/C install. I will be recommending them to everyone I know.
AC Mechanical did the install a few years ago. They came out the next day when I found out it didn’t cool. They replaced Freon and will inspect entire system. Always good service and pricing from this group. Highly recommend.
