They installed new AC and furnace for me last december, First the freon was leaking and now SDGE saying there is gas leak. Called the company several times, no one answer, no return call either.
Carlos and his company used our services, was paid for our services from the general contractor and kept the money paid to him for us. He has since ghosted us and will not return phone calls. We did receive an email response after numerous attempts telling us to contact his bankruptcy lawyer, but the number is not valid. I would be careful doing business with this company.
This company does not pay its bills. We were contracted to perform work by the owner Carlos of 5 Diamond for a building in Chula Vista. They have been paid in full for the work that we performed and still have not paid us. It is $6,000 and has been almost a year. They do not answer their phone or emails.

I hired 5 Diamond Mechanical for an AC diagnostics as my water source heat pump was not pumping out cold air. They recommended a few services system flush and coil cleaning totaling around $700 or replace the whole unit. Their initial quote for replacement the units guts, as they call them, was $14K which is outrages as I found out from the manufacturer equipment cost is $3995 + tax & shipping. 5 Diamond than lowered their quote to $10K installed which would mean their install labor cost would still be over $5K for a few hours to install a slide in chassis. I unfortunately purchased the services they recommended which did not fix my issue. Why would I trust them with a new install? Let's just say, I will not be recommending 5 Diamond to anyone I know. 👎
Robert and Justin were amazing! They were friendly, transparent, and honest about what services were needed for my HVAC unit. There was no up-selling for unnecessary services. Thank god I called them for a second opinion after my first experience with another provider who attempted to scam me out of $700.00. I highly recommend 5 Diamond Mechanical.

From the beginning Carlos and Nick were very professional and very attentive to the work that was being done at my house. They made sure their workers were getting the work done. My family and I are satisfied with their work and I would recommend them to my family and friends.

5 Diamond Mechanical was excellent. I live in a high rise and the AC unit was custom designed and built for my building. I called 5 Diamond Mechanical and they were able to send a technician the same day. The technician was very professional, he ran diagnostics on my AC unit and was able to give me options on how to proceed. I knew that what I really needed was a new AC unit since mine was 19 years old. They were able to get one of the custom AC units from the manufacturer, since other homeowners were also replacing their units and the manufacturer makes these in batches. In just a couple of days 5 Diamond Mechanical installed my new unit. They even installed a complementary Nest thermostat. I am very happy with their service and I will definitely recommend them to my neighbors who may need to replace their units. I will also be using their services again in the future for the maintenance of my unit.

Very professional service. Even though I wasn't sure of the actual type of system I had, they still came to evaluate the system at no charge and provided a recommendation. Also, they clarified all my questions and explained what needed to be done.
Everyone is super friendly and professional. The owner is very proud of his company and it shows in the work they do and through the employees behavior. They really try hard to get you the best deal and get you financed.
Top notch service! 5 Diamond was the second HVAC company to come to my home to evaluate my furnace. Wes and team arrived to my home on time, were completely professional, polite and explained what the problem was with my furnace, options on how to repair/replace and I am actually looking forward to the proposal for my replacement. Most importantly, I understand why my furnace needs replacing and fully agree. There appearance, respect for the cleanliness (meticulous) and safety of my home was far above any other vendor I have worked with. They even brought their own entry mat to my front door!
