100% Recommend 831 Heating Inc. Call Felipe for your HVAC needs. His pricing is reasonable, quick estimate, on time to project, finished project when promised, and system works great! We had a Bryant Mini split ductless system installed. Cant wait for a heat wave! On top of it all, Felipe and his crew are very nice, and easy to work with. You wont be disappointed!!

I had many companies came to repair my furnace, they all try to replace the entire unit, and those who did not ask for replacing the unit were not able to figure out what is wrong with the unit. They each asked for different parts (blower motor, limit switch, flame sensor, pressure switch, capacitor) that were not the main cause of the issue. Felipe figured it out and get it fixed promptly, efficiently and HONESTLY. A honest and experienced technician who is highly experienced and utterly honest is worthy of the highest praise and support.

Felipe and crew fit me into their schedule last minute when my family needed it most. Our heater went out, and I thought it would take a week to get someone to help fix it. 831 heating was there and had it repaired before my wife and baby got home that day. Our furnace was acting wonky last year so we decided to replace it last week. 831 was so attentive and professional. They spent a lot of time placing drop cloths to protect flooring, took mirrors off walls and were so cautious. They were very friendly and we are incredibly happy with their service. Highly recommend!
I found 831 Heating and sheet metal by looking up best Heating company in Salinas on Google. I was glad to find Felipe cause he did an excellent job replacing my old 40yr old furnace and was very professional throughout and quoted me the best price from other contractors. He definitely knows he’s stuff cause I researched his recommendation and it was on point. Definitely recommend Felipe and 831 heating to anyone needing work.
I found the right man for the job! Felipe just finished my new heating system. My vintage home has almost instant warmth on command now. I used to have to get up at 4AM to turn on my old gas floor heater. He was also helpful with needed me incidentals. He's very versatile, very professional, does high quality work, has a lot of education and experience in his field and knows what he's doing, is easy to work with and I found him to be easy to have in my home for a few days. He has a good sense of humor. I have found it difficult to get contractors to respond to me, but Felipe got right back to me and came to check things out quickly. We talked things out, he sent me a quote that night, I signed and right after the holidays, he was on the job. Highly recommend Felipe for your job. Give him a ring!
Felipe replace our furnace. Up in the attic and difficult to get to, but he disassembled and removed the old one and replaced with a high efficiency model with some additional improvements. Big difference! Felipe is expert at what he does and a heck of a nice guy, to boot! Oh, and his prices bet everyone else who quoted.
Felipe was great! Installed a new furnace and air-conditioning for the same price I was quoted just for a mini-split system at another local shop. Great communication and quick install. Very respectful of covid precautions and tolerated my annoying dogs very well :)
Felipe came out and really checked what I had so there was no add ones after the agreed price. Very professional and I was so impressed how they kept everything clean and sanitized. Was able to get me in a week early. I would recommend this company and I will have them do all my business forward.

Felipe has always been on time and gone above and beyond. Over the years I have had the pleasure of watching him install and repair systems. The systems always work, and the finish work looks great. I recommend him for any/all of your AC needs.
We called for an appointment and Felipe showed up right on time. Despite the covid19 situation, they showed up wearing plenty of PPE and emailed us a quote later that day. The pricing was very good, so we accepted the quote and work began a couple weeks later. Despite needing to drill and install more pipes and equipment, they never left trash behind and the tools were always placed out of the way to avoid hazards. Happy to say that our new AC is running smooth. He even fixed a few pre existing issues with our ducts while installing the new system. Afterwards we got a very clear explanation of how the system works and how to do basic maintenance for it. I always appreciate this kind of professionalism, so I highly recommend this local business.
