Nice service and reasonable price for HVAC tasks from this company. Just replaced my 23 years old whole HAVC system and everything had been done professionally and smoothly with any hiccups! Recommended!
Ken is our hero (and his trainee too)!! They came out within an hour of us calling this morning (during the worst heatwave of the year) and got our A/C back up and running in about 5 minutes flat. We have always been very pleased with the fast and reliable service we've received from Ken and Paul at Pacific Heat and Air over the past 15 years. They've come to our immediate rescue more than once, and we can't thank them enough. Highly recommend their services.
A trouble free experience from inspection and quote through the one day installation of our new Trane heat pump system. Ken, Paul and the rest of the team were a pleasure to work with.
Wonderful experience! My HVAC unit died and Ken and his crew came out within 2 hours of my call. He quickly located the issue and had to source a new part. Within less than 24 hours heat was flowing back into the house. What a professional, polite, helpful, and personable group. Cost was very reasonable and they didn't talk down to me as has been my experience with other companies over the years. Would highly recommend Pacific Heat & Air.
I waited to see if I’d get a call back, but it’s been 3 business days so there you go. I reached out to this company to have someone perform a tune up of our AC unit. The website states “21-point furnace or A/C tune up $85,” so I assumed it would cost $85. Our window was 2-4pm, the technician arrived around 4:15pm. I’ve been recovering from a bad bout of COVID, so when the technician insisted he come inside to check the thermostat I was put off that he saw us wearing masks and trying to distance ourselves, but had no qualms about coming into our home and standing close to us without offering to wear one. Perhaps I should have offered him one or refused him entry? I won’t force someone to mask, but read the room a little for courtesy’s sake. He also wasn’t wearing any kind of identifying badges/tags or uniform, so it made me more uncomfortable letting him in. Most companies I deal with would show identification or something. He didn’t even need to come in, he could have just told us clearly what he wanted the controls set to in the first place, we did the adjustments ourselves in the end because he wasn’t clear on how our control panel worked. After he tells us everything’s fine, it’s just an old unit that will squeak (fine by me) he tells us the bill is $130, and claimed that $85 was for the service call/him coming out, and the extra $45 was for the actual labor. I don’t like “hidden fees,” and that’s clearly not what the website is claiming (claiming $85 for a tune up is not the same as $85 for the tech to drive over to my house) so it didn’t sit right with me. We paid without fuss, but I then called the main line and got a call center rep who took down my request for billing clarification and said someone would call me back, but here we are 3 business days later with no callbacks. Overall with just not pleased, I’m not planning to use this company again unless I actually get a call. I doubt they need my money anyways, so there you go.
Showed up on time. Very nice technician. Fixed our A/C and it’s working way better than it did! Recommended a better filter to use. So thankful for your services!
Excellent trustworthy service! Fair prices
So I just got a phone call and 3 hrs. before they were supposed to be at my office they cancel because one of their employees did not show up. which I totally understand. but when I asked if they were going to reschedule she just said no. completely unprofessional and I would never recommend them to anyone. if I could give zero stars I would.
Used Pacific to do tune-ups on the HVAC systems @ both my personal home & my rental house. Great service at both places. Plan to use them again.
To begin with, Ken came out to my home and provided honest, valuable information needed to make a sound decision regarding the replacement of a 33-year-old Trane HVAC System. He was very kind, knowledgeable, and professional, and I especially appreciated that he DID NOT try to UPSELL this service. He provided both "recommendations" and "options" and allowed me, without pressure, to choose the equipment best suited for my home AND my budget. I was also able to finance this project at 0% Interest Rate for 60 month...can't beat that! On installation day, Paul (supervisor) and his crew came out on schedule to begin replacing my HVAC System. From the get go, I could tell that Paul was a professional, and highly experienced in his field. This was NOT an easy job, as my old system was locked in place from previous installers with all sorts of cement, glue, gunk, etc., which proved very difficult to remove. However, Paul never flinched! He strategically used this opportunity to gently "train" his less experienced crew on how to maneuver such obstacles, and then proceeded with the installation of the new system. I couldn't be happier with the equipment installed, and the service provided by this company. Pacific Heat & Air, Inc., as far as I could research, is the oldest company in the HVAC System business...that means oodles of knowledge and experience...quite evident during my HVAC installation. Choose this company for all your heating and air services...you'll be happy you did!
Have used this service in the past and was very satisfied with the work and professionalism. They come in and started and do do not stop until the work is done. Clean up is excellent and you never knew they were there. Haven't had any problems but if I did, in the past, they came out promptly. The price was fair and I got an upgraded unit. I'm happy with the service and would highly recommend it. Mr. Paul is a very nice honest man .
Ken, Paul and their team were professional, honest, and thorough throughout our Trane heat pump installation. They took the time to explain everything and answer any questions. They were respectful of our home, wore masks, and were friendly. Great value, service and overall experience! Thank you again Pacific Heat and Air
I found Pacific through yelp. They have great ratings so I tried them out. My house heater broke and it was freezing in the house. I tried calling other HVAC companies but everyone was busy. When I called Pacific, the lady on the other line was courteous, and immediately set me up with an appointment. The tech came on time, was respectful of my house rules, i.e. he wore booties so as to not dirty my floors, he wore a mask when he saw me wearing a mask, (I can tell he was sensitive to your preference in cults regarding masking), he was professional diagnosed the problem, and told he what was going on and what needed to be done. No upsell, no bs. He didnt try to sell me a new HVAC system. I was expecting the worst but was mildly surprised how honest he was. He ordered the part and quoted me a reasonable amount. He told me he will expedite and sure enough he got my heater working when he went back 3 days later as soon as he got the part. Overall, I am extremely pleased.
Replace thermostat everything works great thanks
Overall, excellent company. Would highly recommend to others looking for HVAC installation. I will probably be asking them to do my mini split installation. We went with them because they did an excellent installation job on a new HVAC system at my sister's place. We got Trane XL181 2 stage and S9V for the 2 stage furnace. Not top of the line for Trane. All you need is some middle of the line product and you're good. Their pricing is very competitive and negotiable. Our current hvac system was on its' last legs and it was about 15 years old. You will have to do your own research and everyone's budget is different but I felt like Trane was a good combination between competitive pricing, longevity of the unit, and efficiency of the unit. I would not recommend Lennox because there are a lot of internal electronic parts and as you know, electronic parts break down easily. Also, from what I found, not many companies are trained to repair Lennox HVAC in our area. Another reason why we went with Trane. This will vary from your own experience but our electricity bill went down by about $100-150 per month after installation and that was with constant use during the recent fires. The company did a good job in laying out large towels/cloths for the entire work area and paths leading up to it. I think it could have been better, but it was fine. They thoroughly cleaned up after the work was done. We were lucky that it only took 1 full day to install everything and a few months later, they mail you a packet and the city inspector comes to sign it off. The most important thing is how the company installs the unit. You can pay somebody a lot of money but if they don't install it right, it will cost you in the long run in terms of utility bills. This company re-taped all the ducts at their junction points and used extra UV protective tape around the cables leading from the compressor into the house. When they did the leak test, we got numbers in the range of 7-12. The allowable
I had Pacific Heat and Air replace my 23 year old Trane HVAC. Great 30 year old family business who I highly recommend.
We were very pleased with our interactions with Pacific Heat & Air, Inc. From the initial bid to the full replacement of our HVAC system. Ken, Paul and the entire crew (Pedro, Salim & Charles) were polite, efficient and professional. The team completed the work in one day! We would highly recommend them.
This is a very reliable and trustworthy company referred by a neighbor. Highly recommended. The installation went very well. I was impressed by the level of precision and testing once installed.
Came to my house same day I called. The technician, Paul, was knowledgeable, thorough, professional, and accurate. Pacific Heat & Air is the best.
They got my AC back in working order quickly
