I met Matt Orr, the owner, through my father in law; they met when my father in law’s AC had been out for six weeks while he waited for another company to come fix it, but when Matt was doing a job across the street they started talking and he came over that day to fix my 82 year old father in law’s AC just because he didn’t want him to have to keep waiting. Down the line, I was put in contact with Matt when the AC in one of our shops went down, and he came out and had a new mini split installed less than 24 hours later. He has also come out to fix our systems at both my own house and one of our other coffee shops, both times doing excellent work within one or two days of the problems arising.
I hired American Air to install 4 mini-splits in my home. Their work looks very clean. They were professional and Matt was very communicative. I highly recommend them.
Family owned and ran business. Incredible people!! I could not say enough positive things about this business. Kim and Matt stand far above the rest! They were courteous, very informative and very reasonably priced to just name a few of the things i was really impressed with. American Air just installed the mini-split system yesterday and my family is extremely satisfied and happy. First, Mitsubishi is top of the line for quality. Second, the estimate was right on target for the square footage. Third, they schedule the appointment as soon as the parts arrived. Fourth, they arrived on time and ready to go in very hot weather. Their technicians were very knowledgeable, trustworthy, fun to learn from, and really were experts. They cleaned up throughout and thoroughly showed us how to use and maintain the equipment. Last night we slept like babies as the compressor is SO QUIET and the indoor unit was like a whisper. I can't wait to see how much money we save on our energy bill! THANK YOU AMERICAN AIR! You are rock stars!
American Air just finished installation of our six zone Mitsubishi ductless system. This was by far the best home improvement project we have ever done. The Mitsubishi system is extremely quiet and is working great. I especially like the connection to the Kumo Cloud mobile app. From start to finish the plan, estimate, and Installation were very professional and thorough. I won’t hesitate to do business with the American Air team and highly recommend them for your HVAC needs.

I’ve shopped around a lot until I stopped at American Air to get AC install and I can say with utmost confidence that they had the best prices in town! And on top of that, what made me trust them even more was the fact that they never tried to sell me stuff I didn’t need or more than I needed... quite the contrary, they worked with me to make it as economical as possible while still getting what I need. The quality of work and the customer services was absolutely impeccable! So responsive and ready to answer all my questions! They went above and beyond, I can’t recommend them enough!
Kim and Matt saved us when our AC quit working in the heat of summer. Even gave us a loaner part because the part we needed had to be ordered! Great service all around! Highly recommend!
Matt and Kim were super friendly to work with. Matt was busy with some jobs but was able to come by after to measure out the house for a quote. They fit us in pretty quick even with their other jobs, so that was nice of them. Great install work from Matt and Ronnie, would recommend to others.

I recently had American Air do work on my heater in my place of business and they were amazing to say the least. They were on time and budget and had wonderful customer service. Every time I called for anything they were eager to answer any questions I had and were very friendly. They also cleaned up everyday when they left so you would have never known they had been there working. I highly recommend them.
Best Priced Pros for Mini Splits in Redding. I was really impressed with the professionalism of Kim and his crew. They educated me on home efficiency and installed beautiful new mini splits in my house. Initially, there was a mixup in our communication, but Kim took responsibility and made good on his promise ( I didn't want the compressor located under a bedroom window because it spoiled the view) I really appreciate his integrity. And you can't beat his prices! His quote was substantially cheaper than the second cheapest quote for my 4 head system. Another company, installing the exact same systems, wanted as much $$ for a 2 head system as Kim charged me for a 4 header!!! You won't be sorry you went with American Air! Great job Kim!! This was a review was about Jody for one we did a job for Dustin just because he has the same last name does not mean he’s related we did an AC system on his house furthermore your comments is fake news and be careful slander and defamation of character on the website there’s many people with the same last name at some of the same first name I suggest you remove that review before I decide to call my attorney on you
Our A/C went out in the middle of a 100-plus degree heat wave, but Kim and Carby squeezed us into their schedule and soon we were back in the cool. Great job guys!
Nothing but problems from the start with the unit and installation, Repair numerous times by sub contractors...rewired wrong TWICE. Go some where else to buy!
