Kevin at Sun Powered Solutions did a wonderful job of repairing our swamp cooler. We originally had Active Air come take a look and they said it wasn't fixable and that we needed an entirely new unit which would have cost us a couple thousand. Kevin saw that it was just the pump that needed to be replaced. I love the honesty of this company and service. They were genuine and weren't trying to scam us like Active Air.

They honestly deserve zero stars. The technician, Richard was incredibly disrespectful, condescending, dismissive and rude. We have had issues with AC unit nonstop for years. They came and said the problem was the filter..again. Insurance company had them come back a second time, where they stated there’s nothing wrong when the unit is leaking everywhere. He spent a total of seven minutes accessing the unit. When trying to leave, we politely asked if he could stay until the home owner shows up, as he was 3 minutes away. Richard refused and stated that “he won’t be doing that” and practically ran out, that he almost left his partner and no receipt.

Richard came to fix my ac last Saturday. He changed a fuse and the ac was working for a couple days before it died again. I called my house warranty and let them know I need Richard to come back out and ever since it’s been a nightmare trying to reach him or even get a return call back. I WOULD DEFINITELY NOT REFER THEM TO ANYONE LOOKING TO GET SERVICES FROM THIS COMPANY SUN POWERED SOLUTIONS ARE VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY

Called AHS this was the contractor our order was dispatch assigned to. We have called 4 times starting at 8am with no response. AHS also emailed however being a dispatcher myself dispatch assigned means the order is in limbo until the contractor picks up the order. Now we are looking to Monday due to this heatwave if a business is nor able to accommodate a simple call would suffice.

This is an amazing company. The 2 units I have were repaired and now they are working amazingly. Richard is a blessing from God, very helpful and caring. With tnis heat he worked so hard to get the units up and running. Treated me like family.

My air conditioning unit went out Tuesday evening. Richard was my service provider from Sun Powered Solutions. He had a cancellation and was able to fit me in the next day Wednesday. I was thankful because it was over 100 degrees! Richard came with his assistant right when he said he would be there. He did a very thorough job. He checked my unit outside and my furnace in the attic upstairs. He had a lot to repair. He came around 1 p.m. and was finished before 2:30 p.m. I had a cool house again! I would recommend this company to anyone. They were professional, quick, and thorough! In short they did a great job!

If i could give this 0 starts I WOULD! This company in just UNBELIEVABLE! Their customer service is TERRIBLE and they are so unprofessional. They were sent out through our home warranty American Home Shield. To begin, my AC unit was not working and was supposedly fixed, in a timely manner, which i appreciated. My mistake was stepping out and believing they would fix it. When I returned the issue was resolved. WRONG! Two days later my unit is not working again. We call Home Shield and were told Sun Powered would be returning to figure out the issue. Upon arrival, the first thing we are told is that the unit had been vandalized and we would have another charge for the "repair" Since we have security cameras on our premises we knew no one has been anywhere near the AC unit. Once we mentioned that we had cameras they became surprised. Now I wonder if they even fixed it the first time? Sun Power is refusing to resolve the issue and insists that the unit was vandalize, unless it was a ghost, this is impossible, the cameras prove it! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! IF THEY ARE referred to you DO NOT ACCEPT them!

Richard was not professional and he came out 3 times and told us that are heater was fine and still are house is not heating up never ever go with them they was rude to us and did the job fast.please do not go with sunpower solution they don't know what a hack they doing they lie that they can come again and again to.make money.the termostat just need it to set up now my heater running fine.

This guy is an absolute joke. Very unprofessional. Refused to go on my roof when he was told the furnace was on the roof. AHS should be embarrassed to have a contractor like this.

This was by far one of the worst experiences I’ve had with someone American Home Shield sent out. Richard took a week to call then he took 6 weeks to send in the diagnosis to AHS. He wouldn’t answer my calls or texts. My unit was beyond repair and I had to replace it but for 7weeks I was without a/c waiting for Richard. I am disabled and this really took its tole on me physically. His demeanor was surly and he was not very knowledgeable. I would give no stars if that was an option.

It's 100+ degrees and Richard has yet to return calls or answer his phone.. His voice mailbox is full. It's been 9 days since he assessed the AC problem and 2 days since he was approved by the insurance company to complete the work. Not a word from him. Extremely poor customer service.

Very bad, unprofessional, uneducated,they don't know what they are doing. Came to work on our cooler just to make it worse, they said that we need a new cooler and it's been weeks and still no cooler, we are suffering in the heat

These guys are awesome. Professional and timely. My A/C went out on us after owning our home for only 3 months. So I contacted my home warranty company. They contacted Sun Powered who in return contacted me in less than 24 hours. I talked to Richard, who was booked all week, but he was able to fit me in on that same day. That meant a lot to us because it was already 82 degrees in the house and I have an 11m old baby. He came exactly when he said he would and was able to fix the A/C without ordering parts. He had everything already, a new motor, new fuses, and some other stuff. I was extremely impressed despite what I have heard of Home Warranty companies. So in a nut shell. They are on time, professional from start to finish, and do what they can to get you up and running asap. All things that are important and matter. 5 Stars.
