Professional, and on top of things. Did a great job cleaning and sealing two attics.

Element is fantastic. Eduardo, Marvin and their crew were on time, efficient, and professional. They handled our AC unit installation in half a day and cleaned up the work area before they left. The entire process was easy and the cost of labor and equipment was very reasonable. Highly recommended.
Element helped us select a heat pump and they installed it. They also replaced insulation in our attic and basement crawl space, as well a removed a 1938 era gravity furnace. They are very cooperative and punctual and efficient. They communicate well, stay in touch, and show up on time. They installed the heat pump, insulation, and duct work all in one day. Amazing! Their prices were fair. They wore shoe covers and bunny suits and masks when needed. They cleaned up thoroughly when done. We have no complaints and are very satisfied and thankful for their work. Highly recommended.

I had a whole-house heat pump installed. Element was very fast and great to work with every step of the way. The installation was flawless and the work was top-notch. I am very happy with my new system and the way it was installed. My only complaint is that no one from Element was present during the city inspection. The inspector was not happy about this and said it was highly unusual for the contractor to not be present. I had to take an hour off work to lead the inspector around, open up the panels, try to figure out how everything was wired, remove fuses from the two new fuse boxes, etc.
Everybody we worked with at Element was friendly and a real pro. Jorge's estimate was done quickly and confidently. Good value prices. The attic crew showed up when they said and were able to clean, remove insulation, and install new batting in just a day. Juan and his team took time to really insure that the inside of our home stayed clean while working briskly and efficiently. Thanks for all your patience and hard work!
Its has been a joy to work with Element Home Solutions despite initial apprehension since I knew little about heat pump systems. It started with a visit by their representative Ernest Shahray . He spent an hour and a half with inspection and measurements, getting into crawl spaces and the attic, noting every vent location and duct size. He exuded confidence and competence, while educating the homeowner at the same time. Several days later, a 9 page estimate with everything listed in detail was delivered. I forwarded this to one of the representatives of BayREN for review to see if the cost was in line. After a positive response from BayREN, we proceeded with the project, which was to replace the existing gas furnace on each of 2 floors with heat pumps, as well as installation of new duct system since the old one was 28 years old and leaking. It was estimated that this would take 3 days to complete. Under the leadership of Marvin, with a team of 5 workers the first day and 8 workers the second day, the project was completed in 2 days. They worked nonstop except for lunch breaks. They took care to protect the home with plastic sheets and drapes, the clean up was just as efficient. Marvin was receptive to questions and readily corrected minor deficiencies as I pointed out to him. I especially appreciated the care they took to preserve the custom made wood floor vents that were glued in 28 years ago. They accomplished everything that was laid out in the estimate. A few days later, after I have had time to check out the finish in detail, Ernest came back for a walk through to ensure that the customer was totally satisfied. There were a few minor deficiencies which were corrected expeditiously. Ernest even recommended a handyman to deal with a totally separate exhaust vent issue that I had. It was so refreshing to encounter an individual in the service industry who was willing to go above and beyond his responsibilities to provide value added service. He is a real asset
Prompt, professional, knowledgable, and honest, Element Home Solutions did an excellent job replacing our old duct-work, moving all wall vents to the ceiling, installing a new furnace flue, and thoroughly cleaning our furnace unit. Element was not the only place we called for a quote, but they were the most professional and very fairly priced. Eduardo was amazing to work with. He came out to provide a thorough quote within 24 hours of our call, made multiple recommendations, and discussed options in detail without making me feel pressured to make a particular decision. He was able to start the job a few days later and seamlessly coordinated with an external company to remove the asbestos-covered portions of our heating system as well as worked with our kitchen contractors to coordinate the new location of vents according to the plans and placement of cabinets, etc. Plus, he went above and beyond on a couple of occasions to ensure the job was completed quickly and correctly: purchasing and installing extra wood braces - at no additional cost - in our attic where there weren't sufficient anchor points for new vents, and calling the asbestos company back out when they missed removal of materials. Although I may never be able to verify this, I think their work significantly increased the efficiency of our system between the cleaning, more efficient placement of ducts, and much more efficient ducts themselves: despite it being the middle of winter, with a kitchen torn apart, and gas prices skyrocketing, we've remained on track with previous years' bills (within reason). I would not hesitate to call them again!
My rating (a 3) is not a reflection on the staff. The installers were courteous and professional as were the workers sent to check on the performance of the equipment. The rating is, rather, a reflection of the equipment. We had a Mitsubishi 2-stage heat pump installed in August. The cooling function met our expectations. When the temperature dropped to the mid-30’s and below, the heating function did not meet our expectations. We reported to Element Home Solutions that the heat pump required 3 to 4 hours to reach and then maintain our desired inside temperature when the outside temperature dropped. Maintenance workers came to inspect the unit and let us know that the unit was working as expected. Should you decide to buy a Mitsubishi heat pump you should insure your expectations match reality.
They did an amazing job, they cleaned the attic to an extent I haven't seen it be clean, and installed insulation and new duct work. They repaired all the entry holes for rodents and even cleaned out the dropping. Can't say enough good things about the work and the effort they were able to do to get it done so quickly!
My furnace, installed in 2018, was having real problems, and would intermittently quit. Ernest took a lot of time and figured out just what was wrong, and how to fix it. The repairs only took a day, and is now operating beautifully. I would wholeheartedly recommend Element Home Solutions to anyone! Superb work, a very reasonable price, and done quickly. too. Wow!
This company was very responsive. Other HVAC companies stated they would be able to come to evaluate my gas furnace in two weeks. My blower motor had died and others told me it would take 2 1/2 months to get a new motor. Element came on the day I called them (Friday) and identified the problem, gave me my options and replaced the furnace on Monday! Great service, very nice employees, did the job and vaccumed all the registers and returns before leaving. cleaned up all the dust from the registers as well! I am extremely satisfied with Element Home Solutions quick responser and high quality of the work done.
I was so pleased with the hard working crew that were on my job. They were nice, responsive to my questions and did a great job for the price in time frame quoted.

I hired Element to undo some wrongs done by another HVAC company that resulted in an electrical fire hazard. The Element management was in constant touch with me and the job. Both by phone and email. While Element management was good, Element's work crew was excellent to outstanding. Better than that actually. They came on time as planned, did their work on schedule as planned, and left the residence in clean shipshape condition better than before, but now with a brand new Bryan furnace, an air conditioner, and new R38 insulation for the attic. It took 2.5 days to finish and test the installed HVAC equipment and attic insulation. What was most impressive was how the crew of up to five members worked together. It was though watching a choreographed dance, with each partner knowing what to do and when to do it. Led by Gilbert, this Element corps du ballet performed their tasks in an efficient, well coordinated manner. Not only were the Element crew well trained, they were also well equipped. They used up to three trucks to cart the resources they needed, including tools, insulation, and of course the furnace and A/C. This yet another indication that Element is well managed. I strongly recommend Element for removing and replacing your furnace, air conditioner, and attic/wall insulation. ADDENDUM (8/12/22) Element continues to amaze. Hired them this time to do routine maintenance to ensure the A/C and furnace were in good conditions. Especially of concern was the A/C because of the new normal extreme high heat conditions. The cost for the check up was $149, which sounds like a lot, but it paid for two employees working several hours going over every nook and cranny of both the furnace and the air conditioner. These guys know their products. One quickly discovered that my new thermostat had been installed incorrectly by a previous company. He fixed it right away. We invited four candidate HVAC contractors to bid on installation of a forced air heat pump HVAC system as part of a comprehensive solar retrofit for our Berkeley home. Eduardo Sanic was Element’s representative on the first visit and was thorough, pleasant and professional in making an initial assessment. Element was able to meet the system equipment and performance objectives we wanted with a competitive bid. Eduardo and his team arrived early on the installation date and completed the entire installation in one day, including final integration of s smart thermostat into our home control system. The brand new system is working beautifully.
Insulation removal, clean-up and new insulation installation. Just like their yelp reviews, Element does fantastic work. Very professional, communicative, on-time, and protective of your house. Very happy with the clean-up work of the attic and insulation and then of the new insulation installation. I'm not posting the pictures of how dirty it was after a new roof and their clean-up, but here is photos of everything neat, tidy, clean and with wire guards on any potential rodent entrances from interior or exterior holes.
