Very friendly team and more of a partnership/friendship with Sam than just an installer of a new Heat pump! Kept the house clean. Going in & out of an attic plus crawl space can create a lot dirt but Sam and his team kept the carpet and living space clean. They took their time to make sure I was happy with where things were being installed before moving forward. Installation went very well as they showed up each day at the time they said they would allow me to schedule my day. Sam is just a phone call away if I ever need him. Truly knocked it out of the park!

I would give 6 stars if I could. I found Plum HVAC from Peninsula Clean Energy's list of approved contractors for HVAC. I replaced my central heating with a heat pump. Sam, the owner, gave me a quote that almost matched two other companies quotes (one being a family member's client so that must have been a close to rock bottom price) but Sam's quote included a better quality Bryant heat pump and a slim line condenser. The first company quoted with a Day and Night and the second company offered a Gree and both would charge additional for a slim line condenser. Sam was always easy to reach if I had questions for my HOA architectural approval, permits from Foster City (the building department is very...particular), or Peninsula Clean Energy loan and rebates. I couldn't be happier with the entire process with Plum, the work, or the interaction with installers Jake and Han who were professional, polite, and very clean. I am now enjoying my energy efficient heat pump and am ready for the heat! I highly, highly recommend Plum.
I reached out to 4 companies for mini split quotes; Plum HVAC pricing came in the lowest. Beyond that, Sam was very knowledgeable and kind during the in home consultation. He offered a quote in person, & stuck by it. They removed our old furnace, and installed a two head mini split in our two story townhouse. The work as you can see is very clean! The guys who installed it were very fun & professional. Sam & his team were communicative the whole way through including the permitting process. They took roughly one full day for install, which was very fast! Including removal & disposal of our old furnace. Natalie was very helpful throughout the Bayren Rebate process & always available for any questions! This system has changed our lives, wish we would have gotten it done sooner! It’s way better than we could have imagined.
I called 8 different HVAC companies for quotes for a heat pump heating/ac system because I want to save money by switching from a forced air gas furnace to an electric heat pump system which will give me both heating and air conditioning. In addition my old furnace (circa 1991) was way oversized for my home and the air coming out too noisy. The New heat pump system is quieter and more efficient. Back to the quotes for the system, all the other 7 companies sent a salesperson/ advisor to give the quote. Sam, the owner of Plum HVAC came our to give the quote. He was quick with his quote and was very knowledgeable. He didn't try to upsell me on anything and have the lowest quote of them all. His price was 60% less than the highest quote and 15% lower than the next second lowest quote. I found it hard to believe that he would do a good job for an unbelievably low price (compared to 7 others) BUT Sam and His crew were fast, efficient, courteous, respectful, clean competent and just overall did a GREAT job. Sam was always easy to get ahold of and explained things in an easy way and always put me at ease. When I checked the specifications of the Heat Pump system Sam proposed and installed, the specs were better than the other quotes got. Another big bonus is I had Plum remove the old furnace from my garage and put the HVAc system in my attic and outside my house so I gained alot space in my garage. I am in real estate and have dealt with alot of trades in my time and I cannot recommend Sam and his Company Plum HVAC enough.
My experience with Plum was positive throughout the process of installing a heat pump, fan unit and ducting system from scratch. The estimate was thorough and an excellent value. The guys who did the work were diligent, polite, tidy and responsive to all my questions.
Sam visited the house for a free consultation and a competitive estimate for a Daikin Ductless Mini Split System installation: one outdoor unit and multiple indoor units. A crew from Plum HVAC did a great job installing the units, including electric wiring and polished outdoor line-sets with covers. The units are very quiet. Aside from remote controls, each unit can be controlled through a phone app or Alexa. Highly recommended.
I’ve talked to almost 10 vendors before hiring PLUM HVAC and, being a scientist, spent countless hours learning different aspects of a reliable AC system. Firstly, PLUM’s quote was reasonable, not the lowest, but I’ve obtained quotes that were twice the amount (and ridiculous at that). Secondly Sam is an extremely courteous professional with very good manners. He patiently responded to all my questions and changes of mind in the course of two weeks. On the day of installation, he came with two young, energetic but experienced employees. They also were very polite and professional. They were able to accommodate all my requests related to the installation. They worked very hard, no chatting, no smocking, almost no breaks. Everything was done neatly. Cleaned after finishing the work. Knock on wood, I could not be happier.

They replaced our old heater with a new energy-efficient one, a new air conditioner, ductwork and thermostat. They were extremely professional, efficient and their work is exemplary. We couldn’t be happier and will recommend them to anyone looking for HVAC services.
I contacted Sam Moosavi when my HVAC system heating unit failed. He arrived within a day to run the diagnosis and got it fixed. Being a 20+ year old system, I asked him for a replacement system quote, which he provided immediately with suitable options. Per scheduled, he arrived with his team within a week, and replaced my HVAC unit per the county code. I observed detailed and thorough workmanship, friendly and professional engagement. They did every task Plum HVAC mentioned in the contract and also verbally, cleaned up each day after work and checked to ensure the unit was fully functional. Finished the job 1/2 day ahead of schedule in the rain. Very impressed by Plum HVAC under Sam Moosavi and his team. I highly recommend him for your HVAC repair or maintenance work!

Great service from the start. Sam provided a very thorough review of existing system; explained my options, and provided a very fair price (based on getting bids). For installation, I was provided a system installation date and crew showed up on date and time as promised. High quality installation also completed in time promised. Crew was courteous, professional, efficient and ran a clean job. I was provided a walk through of the system after job completed to give me a good overview of how it worked. 100% satisfied! Sam from Plum HVAC is professional and on point. I was pretty transparent with him about that I was gonna compare quotes from multiple vendors from the very beginning and he was very understanding of that, which I appreciate. I didn't get any less of care or service just because I might not be his customer at the outset. I compared price from 3-4 vendors, Plum came out with the highest quality brand, lowest price (another vendor literally told me that you should go with PLUM since they cannot do that price), and fastest installation. I was able to get PLUM to install the HVAC in a very short period of time before the heatwave and that make my family very happy (stay cool during the heatwave). Also, there was some additional inspect done and everything was done to code with permit sent. I also had some minor issues and Sam was super responsive to me request and came to fix it without charging me additional fees. Hands down the best service you can get for HVAC installation. My experience is very positive.
