Heating Alternatives was 1,000% excellent when my old-school wall heater died. I was out of state and they dealt with the permit, inspection, installation, and removal of dead heater like a champ. The work was beautifully done, with paint and plaster matched to the original, and it was fast. I would recommend them without hesitation. Thanks so much, guys.
Kenny has worked on our system a few times now and he is great. He is so responsive and helpful. He also diagnosed our problem quickly and gave us options for repair. Highly recommend!!!
Great job, did what he said from the very first phone call. On time and very timely with repair. We will use anytime we have a AC issue.
Kenneth is the man. When my AC stopped working this summer, the “other guys” tried to sell me a whole new system for a lot of money. But then I called Kenneth and he diagnosed and fixed the issues. Saved us a ton of money and saved us from sending a whole condenser unit to the landfill for no reason. Highly recommended.
Failed to provide an invoice after several attempts. I am not certain why invoice was not provided for a nearly $7,000 job other than they have no intentions to provide backup warranty service. I will never use of refer this business.
We had Kenneth help us install a mini-split AC/heating system in our house. We had gotten a few price quotes, his quote was very competitive. We went with Kenneth because he was very knowledgable, and also listened to our needs and helped up problem solve a few challenges. Our system works great. We would recommended him for sure. Very kind, reliant, and great work ethic.
This company came through for me- our furnace blower broke and Kenneth was super quick to get it fixed. He even tracked down the part from multiple sources to get it done for us. I told him that my wife was pregnant and I really need the AC fixed quickly, and he definitely made me feel like a priority. I called him Monday morning and it was fixed by noon on Tuesday. This is absolutely the company you should call if you have a HVAC problem.
The level of professionalism put me at ease and the responsiveness to both my call and the request mean I will definitely use their services again. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.
A return visit to our home's AC by Heating Alternatives once again showed what a fantastic company they are to work with. We called Heating Alternatives for a different matter then last time since we were so happy with them last time. Problem, we had no more cold air upstairs! We had a MiniSpit installed by our previous AC company which is no longer in business, and it simply was not pumping out anymore cold air. Kenneth was able to fit us into his scehdule that day. We originally thought it would need a freon reload, but after he inspected our condensor he told us it was a different matter all together. He gave us a solution and it fixed the issue. The next day we have a cold upstairs again and I wanted to write this review to tell people that the world is getting warmer. Climate change is real. You better have a great working AC and a great partner when issues do occur. Heating Alternavtives is that partner for us. Thank you!
First class company. Ken picked up the phone immediately and was super accommodating. My furnace would run for a short time and then shutdown as it was over heating. Ken knew this wouldn't be an easy fix, but he send his man Marvin over the next day, without even charging a diagnostic fee, how cool is that ??? Marvin showed up on time, and was as pleasant as can be. He worked the problem for as long as needed to, until, he found the issue and fixed it. I am super grateful to both Ken and Marvin for taking care of my problem. They gave me a great warranty as you can tell they are in the customer pleasing business. Great company with great people. Thanks a million guys !
these guys gave a us a great quote, stuck to it, and did their work professionally and VERY neatly - they even finished sooner than they initially said the would! the hvac system so far has been great! also kenneth and his crew were friendly and unobtrusive. i have and will continue to recommend!
Great company. Highly recommend using Them for your heating and A/C needs. Ken and his crew were very professional. Needed heat and AC put into a 109 year old house. After the initial contact, they were there in a day to check out my house and I received a quote shortly after. We discussed a start date and how long it would take and they were right on target with the estimated time. The work done was great and no big messes or mistakes were made. I am very happy with my new zoned heating and air system, chose Heating Alternatives and you will be too.
Kenneth is amazing!! He came out today and was super honest, friendly and straight forward. My unit was low on freon so he added more into my unit. He was done in 30 minutes and now my house is cool again. So glad I found Heating Alternatives and Kenneth. If your air conditioner is in need of a repair, look no further. Great work from Kenneth + team! I've been with Kenneth for over 2 years and the new system he put in place is still humming along! He even came back over a year later to check in on the system to make sure it was still running smoothly, comped! No wonder he's now super busy, doing great work and honest!!! :)
Rarely will you ever find an HVAC guy as dedicated and knowledgable as Kenneth. He went above and beyond to locate a hard-to-find air handler for my old HVAC system, and when the manufacturer sent a defective unit - then refused to take it back (after Kenneth has already installed it) - Kenneth had the unit repaired at his own cost, reinstalled it, and honored the full warranty. Now that's service! If I could give 6 stars, I would. Highly recommended!
After 7yrs in LA property management, I feel like I have seen it all with HVAC technicians. Believe me when I say Heating Alternatives LLC is the BEST IN LOS ANGELES. Kenneth has gone above and beyond to ensure that our home is properly cooled. We really threw quite a mess at him, and he's done everything in his power to give us the best service. He is polite, communicative, AND he actually understands Nest systems! Do you know how many HVAC vendors I have worked with that run away in horror at the site of a Nest thermostat? Literally all of them EXCEPT the guys at Heating Alternatives! Seriously, these are your guys. You'll love them!
Kenneth came out to check my irregularly acting A/C unit. When he did not find any faulty issue at the moment, he did not try to sell me any bogus parts/solutions and charge me an arm and a leg. Honest professional.
Kenny is one cool HVAC dude! Hooked me up with 2 split-ACs. Great price, fast install..........and now I'm chillin this summer. Highly recommended!!!
