We had a new furnace installed by another company in the winter. Our A/C had been working but it had been making a grinding noise which we could hear on the first floor. One tech came and was in and out in a jiffy. The problem was that the other company didn't set the proper blower speed for the A/C.
My A/C broke on Sunday. I was recommended Affordable Heating & AC Repair by my sister. I called Monday morning someone came right away and tried to fix it. The unit was 30+ years old and had to be replaced. By 9pm that evening we had a new unit installed and the house was cooling down.

Last weekend I finally got my Central Air unit installed!!. I called Affordable Heating & AC Repair and spoke to the tech who came out to my home the same day to provide an estimate. I had obviously done my research on the specs and functionality of the various makes and models on the market today, so for me at this point it wasn’t about the unit. It was about the workmanship and knowledge. What I like about he is that he didn’t try to sell me a unit. He told me what my options were and his experience and confidence was very evident. I had my unit installed two days later. The crew showed up on time and were very professional, courteous and clean!. For a woman, that’s a big deal. We were set up with an appointment within 2 hours after they first called. Lewis did a great job. He explained what he was doing and what he was looking for. And then he did it. EXCELLENT!
Great job overall. My tech was prompt, courteous and knowledgeable. Fixed the problem and got my system back up and running in about 30 minutes. Very pleased with this company and will definitely use them again.
