I recently had the pleasure of working with Starlight HVAC to install a new air conditioning and heating system for my home in Mission Viejo, and I cannot recommend them highly enough! From start to finish, the team was professional, knowledgeable, and incredibly skilled at their craft. They were patient and answered all my questions with ease. The installation process was seamless thanks to the expertise of the technicians, who took the time to carefully assess my home's needs and recommend the best system for my specific requirements. They were meticulous in their work, ensuring that everything was installed to the highest standards and that every detail was attended to. Throughout the process, the team was also incredibly friendly and communicative, answering all of my questions and keeping me informed about what was happening every step of the way. Their commitment to customer service was evident in every interaction, and I felt confident that I was in good hands. Now that my new HVAC system is up and running, I couldn't be happier with the results. Great service as well as communication! Was flexible with my crazy work schedule and able to accommodate me for needed AC repairs. I was happily surprised that their tech was right on time too! Highly recommend and have already had other friends and family in the OC area utilize their services.
Terrible company. They were assigned by my home warranty to do an AC repair. 5 months passed and they never ordered parts. When followed up again and again they submitted another invoice 2.5 times the original one! Never came by. Never done any work. Just wasted time and gouged prices. Don't trust them.
I've used Starlight HVAC for my HVAC system replacement. They came same day and gave me a very good deal on a new HVAC system. Office staff called me right a way and scheduled an installation day. I can tell with confidence that the system was installed in very professional way because I have an engineering degree. Big thank you to technicians Vitalii and Sebastian. They are extremely organized and professional HVAC techs I've ever met.
I was referred to Starlight by my neighbor. Tech they sent out Vitalii was awesome, clearly knowledgeable guy. My heater is old and he explained that repairs wold be pricey plus who knows how much longer my 30+ yo unit would last. I ended up replacing my whole heating and ac system. Installation took a day, they got rid of the old system and were very neat with the installation. I will be definitely recommending them to my other neighbors and friends.
We had em look at our AC, it’s old and needed a fix. The quote we got was reasonable. Technician Sebastian was super. He was thorough and polite. Ac is working good and we’re happy with everything.
Please stay away from this company. Tech Sebastian came due to my thermostat not working. He came, left and my problem still was there. He even left my thermostat on the floor and left wires sticking out, very dangerous for my kids. I called to explain so they could come back and fix it and Customer Rep hang the phone in the middle of our conversation. Very bad company. Very unprofessional!!! Stay away.
I’m not sure if it’s incompetence or that they don’t want to get their hands dirty and perform a job, but the technician Vitalii who came to my house gave an inaccurate diagnosis of my A/C problem. He stated because my A/C unit doesn’t have a separate shut off fuse box it caused my capacitor to burn out and any other damage which he didn’t check. The truth of the matter is, my electrical control panel is on the side of my house directly in line of sight with my A/C unit with a clear label on the breaker switch for the A/C unit. By this faulty assessment the company sent to American Home Shield home warranty, they said they won’t cover the repairs. I am beyond upset at the dishonesty and incompetence of this company that I hope no one uses them again. I will make further complaints to other entities regarding Starlight and American Home Shield. I strongly recommend that you do not do business with either.
Very happy with the results of the inspection of our HVAC unit by Starlight. There we gaps in our A/C unit which the tech sealed up and we noticed a difference in the output of the unit right away. He gave us some tips on using our A/C which we appreciated. Overall, a good experience.

I was referred to Starlight through my home warranty company. They came out and they were quick to identify “the problem” and inform me that the cost of repair would likely be higher than the cost of replacement. When the warranty company turned down the replacement due to the repair they recommended only have a price point below $100 they then decided that they couldn’t help and claimed they were unable to make the repair or provide any referrals yo companies that could make the repair. It seems like they decided if the repair wasn’t going to multiple thousands of dollars of work it wasn’t worth their time anymore. Extremely disappointed in their professionalism. Would never recommend using them.
We had Sebastian out on Monday to look at our A/C system. I have never experienced such professionalism from a warranty service provider. Keep it up!
American Home Shield assigned Starlight to tune up my two ACs. Sasha contacted me in less than one hour via email, phone and text to schedule an appointment - the following day! Sebastian came during the 3 hour window, did a thorough inspection, patiently answered my questions, and was very professional from beginning to end. I had a wonderful experience and highly recommend them!
STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY VITALII from starlight came down from ahs warranty to fix my AC but instead he broke couple more parts in my AC and wasn’t able to fix it so he left. Now my AC is not working and it’s not covered by my warranty company anymore. They just screw me!! Absolute non-sense! Stay AWAY from these un professionals.
These guys did a tune up on a broken AC system at my house under my warranty. What did you tune up if it's not working? Ridiculous

Sebastian did both HVAC maintenance through American Home Shield and he came back to install a digital thermostat. He texted me to let me know when he would arrive and I could also track his ETA via their website, which was terrific. Sebastian took the time to answer my questions about out HVAC system and the best proactive maintenance. I found him to be professional, courteous and patient. I will defiantly call Starlight for additional work as needed. Thanks !
I have had a good experience , I have used them a few times on a few of my properties and they always seem to fit me in there schedule. Its a pleasure to work with them and I will continue to use them. great customer service .. recommend
Annual furnace tuneup was done professionally and technician was knowledgeable about the process and explained his work and what was necessary to be in the alert with a 30 year old furnace.
