I will not tell another consumer not to use the services of this company, that’s a personal choice. However, if you use BB to service your AC unit (for the first time) before that Tech leaves your property, check the air flow from the AC unit. My AC unit operated better BEFORE the BB Tech serviced it. I am not happy. Monday, June 19th I got a call from BB Service Manager, Chris and he did an outstanding job of untangling the situation that happened during the service of my AC unit. After our call, I can say, “Bell Brothers made my service situation whole and I appreciate the company for it.” Thank you
Thank You Bell Brothers, Ron and Kyle worked patiently to isolate the power source of our AC units, while doing the regular maintenance they found there were exposed wiring, corrected it therefore prevented what could have been a major problem down the road. I highly recommend their professional service for your home or business.
Great experience with trusting the gentleman that I recently spoke to about my current situation in regards to my heater, I will be in touch, thanks so much
Bell brothers did a great job explaining what needed to be done regarding HVAC maintenance. I respected the honesty of the technician. They were professional and on time. We feel good about using Bell brothers services in the future!
tl;dr: On the expensive side, but great service. You get what you pay for. I had a broken wall heater, and Bell Brothers was quick to come out and communicated clearly throughout the appointment phase. The service fee was a little expensive at $99. Upon arrival the techs were very meticulous in investigating every avenue (switch, gas pressure, carbon monoxide, temperature, flue pipe). Unfortunately my issue was with the flue pipe, and they stated they "did not support fixing that". This was inconvenient, and it was a bit frustrating I still had to pay the full service fee (maybe half would be fair since no quote or exact work needed was generated). Hence my 4 stars
All I can say is what happened, my 86 year old uncle called to come check why his furnace quit, after looking the tech recommended a total replacement. repair estimate (I can show you) included new mother board, gas valve, limit switch and ignitor. 3115$ with his (ahem) discount. he was very clear about why a new one would be just better all around.. the danger of co2 and all. We got a second opinion. After putting the door back on right (so the interlock closed) the furnace fired up and runs fine ever since. That was over a week ago. ;)
The tech was prompt for the initial visit. He was diligent in his troubleshooting He ordered a switch. That was a Thursday. It is now Wednesday and we have not heard from him. Very dissatisfied with the lack of communication.
Sal Gonzalez was very professional and knowledgeable. Made us aware of his every work and moves. Learned a lot because he was also kind of educational and informative.
Good Afternoon Just wanted to let you know that your Staff Member Ruben is very professional in the way he evaluated and technically troubleshot and resolved our Furnace parts update and repair. He fully explained what he was doing and what parts were out out of spec. He ordered the replacement parts and came back to install and make sure furnace was operational and safe! I located Bell Brothers on line and was a previous customer of the other company before their merger. I will recommend Bell Brothers to other potential customers! Thank You for your Service and Repair, Thanks Ruben…. William Artelt Home Owner and now a Happy Customer!,
Bell Bros. tech, Brian Garcia, provided very professional assessment and maintenance to our heating system. He knowledgeable, courteous and respectful of our property.
We received an estimate in August 2022 for a mini split system. We informed the sales person at that time we needed financing if we are going to get the system installed. 3 months later we received a call from Bell Brothers, and they spoke to my husband and said "you guys are approved for $12,000.00" "when would you like it installed?" After ordering the necessary equipment the install began. They completed the install in 3 days although we were promised 2 days. Once completed as the installer was packing up equipment he asked my husband "where is the check for $12000?" We were in shock! We thought the approval call made to us was referring to financing. We knew we did not have $12k before the install. We spoke to Devin and a few other's that said we'll figure this out. We were called and we completed a credit application. They ran our credit through their preferred company and we were denied. A few days later we called and spoke to Devin again. he said we are trying to find another financing company. It's been 3+ weeks and we have not heard from anyone. But, they sent an invoice for 12K to us and our HOA (our HOA was confused). Bell Brothers also signed the paper work for the completion of the install. So, they forged our signature saying we approved the install and the pricing. We never signed anything. We told them they can come get the equipment because we do not have the funds. This is unethical practices from Bell Brothers.
Technician was knowledgeable, thorough and professional. He was attentive to cleanliness and explained the issue and the repair.
My furnace was approximately 50 years old and it had to be replaced per the home inspection report. Steve from Abc heating and cooling (part of bell brothers), helped us complete the contract work and we were given installation date a week later. The crew came right on time, early morning. The installation took 2 days and was done neatly. The workers cleaned the space after the job was done.
Ruben Aguayo, their technician is very professional and thorough. Came in on time.He tried all his best to fix the issue. However, it turn out to be an electrical problem. He checked all the connections and our electrical panel to no avail. He ended up recommending us to call an electrician.
The team who arrived to do the repair was outstanding. They replaced the segment of duct in the crawlspace that had been torn open (apparently by a rat), they protected the area around the interior entry to the crawlspace then cleaned up very thoroughly when the work was complete. They took the extra step of inspecting all the crawlspace vents and repairing the small gaps in the screening on two that might have allowed the critter to get into the crawlspace. Interacting with the office was unfortunately a completely different story. Phone calls were not returned, billing errors were never corrected, "VIP" gift card sent by Bell Brothers was never honored ... A very unsatisfactory experience and completely the opposite of the very positive experience with the team that did the actual repair.
Good company with professional peeps. Recommended for any HVAC related work. Consultant Raul was good in communication and made every step easy
Folks from Bell Brothers did a wonderful job of installation and clean up after the installation. The initial work to determine what needs to be done was also done extensively and they did a great job.
The company was really professional answering the call and confirming the appointment. They sent over Reuben who looked at my dad's HVAC unit. Reuben was well prepared when he came over. He had his mask and shoe covers when entering the house. He reviewed our HVAC unit and determined the cause of the failure. It was something about the limit switch that was no longer working that kept my dad's HVAC fan on at all times. He proposed several options for repair. It was either to have them replace the device; we do it ourselves; or replace the entire HVAC, as the system is over 30 years old. If replacement is our option, we will definitely be calling for their service again.
We had great service for a complete HVAC system replacement including all new ducting performed by ABC Cooling in 2020. Since they were acquired by Bell Brother, I’ve been nothing but disappointed after renewing their annual plan which was supposed to offer some basic discounted services between annual inspections. I have a laundry list of disappointments over about 9 months. They were unable to clear a floor drain after working on it for 45 minutes and claimed they had cleared it out for over 40 feet. I later figured out with another plumber, it was tapped off 6 feet away by an earlier remodel… there was nothing to clear!!). I waited months for them to run a camera inspection, but they lost their equipment in a theft. I finally gave up and went with a small plumber that gave much more personal/professional service to figure it out. In a separate attempt to work with them, I was happy to learn they do attic insulation. They quoted a whole house blow in insulation but half of the attic had new R-38 batten insulation we installed weeks earlier in our remodel, a rating beyond the the local code requirement. It took them weeks and several follow up calls to get a revised quote. The quote was significantly higher than other quotes I received, none which quoted the whole attic. I went with another contractor. Since I was still on the annual plan, I called for discounted service for a slow bathroom sink to find out they’re not longer clearing drains. (A plumbing company that doesn’t clear drains for the entire area around Hayward!!). Last week, in their annual plumbing safety inspection, I pointed out several minor issues with faucets, drains and a leaky shower head. Last year, the technician fixed 2-3 minor issues on the spot saying that he could help on little things he could fix within his allotted time for the visit. Totally fair and great service. This year, he wouldn’t do a thing… polite, but useless. I’m still waiting out my annual plan for
This inspection and maintenance was scheduled 6 weeks in advance. Took longer(3+ hrs) and got more complicated than I anticipated. Blew a fuse, resulted in extended troubleshooting, including opening the plenum(?) to inspect the coils. Didn’t put back plenum to the way he found it, I had to re-install the wire straps myself. He put 2 lbs of refrigerant costing more than $300. In the end, am not sure my A/C system is in a better shape than before this “tune up “. The post-work documentation did not describe fully the work performed. The technician though was courteous and friendly.
