Ryan gave good solution to the noise issue, cared the working surroundings in removing and reinstalling the various components, and finished the job within couple of hours! Friendly and helpful.
I love this company. Ryan has always been terrific to deal with. Very happy customer. :)
We needed repairs on our AC, and technician came out on the first business day, checked and repaired the issue, explained the remedy, and noted what to look for if there are future issues. He was also very respectful of the space, family, and dog.
Bay Area Climate Control is my go-to when ever I need any HVAC servicing for either my home or business. Ryan is very knowledgeable and their service fees are always fair and reasonable. Highly recommend!
Very good service, problem for the heater and air-conditioning. Ryan comes to help me to clean up and change all the part. Finally, works very well. Thank you so much.
Ryan solved the Problem with our Daughter's Wall Heater. After three different companies couldn't fix it Thanks Ryan
The representatives of this company were very knowledgeable when we first inquired. The installation workers were efficient and very respectful of the people in the household. I would recommend their services to others.
Keith was on time, professional, friendly and knowledgeable.
The whole experience in dealing with Bay Area Climate Control was very pleasant, from Brenda in the office, to Bill (who explained everything), to Ryan (who did the installation); they were proactive in communicating through every step of the process. Thank you!
On time and efficient installation
Ryan and his team (Sal and Jesus) installed two 5-ton Mitsubishi ductless systems in my home as part of a renovation—this took several weeks so I got to know the crew and their work well. This is a large and complex system with 10 zones, installed with care, good communication, and technical expertise. As a client with a strong technical background (physics PhD) and experience with these systems, I appreciated the attention to detail. As the job progressed, Ryan took time to listen and respond to any and all concerns and questions. I also applaud the crew for their attention to keeping areas of the home clean with plastic, vacuuming, and floor protectors—this is really appreciated in a home with young children. I spent months designing and bidding this job (including interviewing references) and I am happy I selected BACC.
Checked out leaks. They were caused by the roof not by the mini split.
A small business team that works hard and cares about the service they provide! Wonderful customer service team, responsive, helpful, professional, the system works as promised. Highly recommend as good service is hard to find! Thx Bay Area Climate Control-we love our new HVAC and Heating system!
They answer the phone and are polite and responsive! No robots! I thought my heater was broken but it turned out to be me not using the thermostat properly! Ryan came out and showed me how to use the complicated thermostat … he’s polite, pleasant and knowledgeable. This is a great company!
Long story short. I called these folks since my HVAC went out. On 11/18 their tech J came out and did some tests with his meter and disconnected some wires. He determined that both the fuses had blown and replaced them. The system started up but J said it should not be working since it was missing a vacuum hose to the induction motor. I told J that they had replaced the motor a few years ago. He checked and said there was no record of it. He also said that it was very dangerous to be missing that hose because it could lead to carbon monoxide poisoning. He tested and it was negative. He checked inside the home and it was negative. I also pulled the paperwork from 2017 to show J that they had indeed replaced the induction motor. J took a photo of the paperwork and left. Ten minutes later J called me back and told me that the replacement motor did not need the hose and there was no concerns about carbon monoxide poisoning. On 11/25 the HVAC stopped working again. I called Climate Control again and they sent J out again. This time he said there was a short in the system and that it could take anywhere from 1 to 4 hours to find it at $150/hr. In addition J said in his experience usually in the control board will also need to be replaced. That would be an additional $600 plus labor. I told J I would have to think about it and could someone contact me regarding just replacing the whole unit. He told me sales would be in touch. In the meantime I contacted B. A. Morrison and they sent a tech on 11/28. I told him what J had told me and he had the system up and running in FIVE minutes. There was a bad float switch which some how been disconnected and was causing the short. 12/15/22 Ok. I wanted to update this review for the sole purpose of saying that in terms of customer service the company went above and beyond. The posting by the owner (?) about refunding my fee was more than I had expected or required. The check arrived in about week and I am very impress
