I first made contact with Tim, who was assigned to come out and give me an estimate on my AC installation. Tim was prompt, easy to communicate with, and thorough in explaining the process to me in a way I could understand. After talking about my 15-year-old furnace and how it was actually overbuilt for my house, he offered me a second estimate on a replacement for that component as well. The price was so good, I couldn't refuse. Best of all, prior to my install date, Tim informed me he found some better quality Carrier components (as opposed to Lennox) which were in the warehouse, and that he could provide them to me at the same price. Antonio and his team came out for the install and were punctual, quick, and even went above and beyond to rake leaves from parts of my backyard. What a nice surprise! I will be using ABC for all future maintenance and repairs moving forward.
Greg C. was very professional with quick response time. When I called this morning, it originally looked like they would not make it until tomorrow, however, they said if the job this afternoon was done in time, Greg would be here between 3pm and 5pm. Greg arrived at 4:35pm. GREAT !!! He knew exactly what needed to be done for our garbage disposal and was in and out within 30 minutes. I always use ABC Plumbing & Heating for almost everything. Reasonably priced and professional in all aspects. He wore a mask and observed social distancing in our home.
Sal came by before the appointment time which I truly appreciated. He was very professional and walked me through all the maintenance activities. We had ABC install our AC over a year ago and have been happy with their services and product!
We couldn't figure out why we couldn't open the door to change the filter after this company installed a new HVAC a couple years ago. Tech was on time, professional, and wore a face mask and shoe covers. Quickly diagnosed the problem, and showed us how to work the new latch his colleague had installed. Cut and installed a new filter that we can now maintain ourselves. Very reasonable price for house call in Concord.
Abc cooling came and was able diagnosed my ac problem very quickly. However, I felt that they charge a very high price for replacing a capacitor. $459. Was told that diagnosis can not continue without first for me to agree to put in a new capacitor to start up the ac. I agreed since I was to get the ac working asap. I later checked with other reputable repair companies and found that the other chargers around $250-$300 to diagnose and replace a capacitor. So I felt The pricing of abc cooling is high for changing capacitor.
Excellent service from everyone, Mike Stone and the installation team were so professional. Our dual zone mini-split a/c unit was installed in just over a day and we couldn't be happier!
BEWARE - This may be considered Elder Abuse, I will know more after I consult my attorney. My 77 year old Mother (confined to a wheelchair) was having issues with her AC - nothing major, just running a bit rough. She called ABC and they sent out a technician named Tim Hogue right away. When he arrived, Tim Hogue stated a few things. One, he said it was no longer working at all. Two, he said it was an improper unit that was made for a much smaller house and because of this it was overworked and failed. Three, he said she needed an entire new unit and a bigger one than she had prior. He quoted her $16,000 and told her that was with a $2000 "senior discount". Thank goodness my Mother did not fall for this scam and elected to get a second opinion. The new company came out only to find the original unit was working just fine and needed a simple service - all in all a $70 call to fix it. The new company also pointed out that the unit in question had been turned off at the source outside the house prior, my elderly mother in a wheelchair could not / would not have done this. What a coincidence when ABC told her the unit had completely failed. When I googled "HVAC Scams" I learned that this is one of the most common scams. These people can NOT be trusted and it is clear to me that they tried very hard to take advantage of a poor helpless elderly lady that did not know any better. Shame on them. Tim Hogue AND ABC need to be held accountable for this and I assure you they will be. I urge you to take your business elsewhere!
A wonderful experience. Jeff quoted and sold the system and then had a fantastic group of guys install it. Was supposed to take 5 days but took 4. Expensive system but competitively priced. There may have been guys to sell and install for a bit less, but the follow through from Jeff was first class. I liked it so much that I decided to do a second system for my office. Almost $20k more...but I bet it will be just as high quality a job. Everyone was nice, clean and in spite of the heat...wore masks. Highly recommend these guys!
Happy & Contented with the service I have from Keith. He is very professional and knowledgeable and even share with me his thoughts and offered me the lifetime membership, which I believe in the long run will saves me my expenses. I will definitely refer them to my friends if they need any cooling/plumbing/heating done. Thank you, Keith!
I have used ABC for ONLY Heating and Cooling Service and always found their work to be the utmost professional and the highest quality. This was the first time I used them for plumbing. Even if it was only to replace a garbage disposal I found the technician Greg to be on time courteous and up to the task. Something that would have taken me all day to do he did in a couple of hours. He had more trouble given me the bill on his tablet than with the plumbing. Always a great company to call and work with. R.Wong
Keith came in evaluated what the problem was, and explained in detail what needed to be done. Gave us an estimate of the work and both parties agreed upon the estimated cost of the job. He made the appointment to complete the work..
ABC has been taking care of our heating and air conditioning needs for years and today Bill S. came out and was outstanding. He gave me a recommendation for filters and was very pleasant as are all ABC staff. Sal is the Service Manager for HVAC and is excellent as well.
Requested for air condition install quote. Estimator came on time.He asked us whether you are taking any other quote and We said yes than immediately he started pickup. Now he was not ready to discuss options or any other information. He said that he is busy and can’t give the quote. On further asking more ETA on when he can give quote he said that in few days. Its been more than 15 days but company has not sent the quote. Very unprofessional and unresponsive behavior. Same thing could have been asked over phone when we took the appointment and said that they can’t give quote instead wasted the time for both of us and still not service. Be careful when you are trying to request for quote and don’t mention that you are working with other company for getting multiple quotes.
Keith with ABC Cooling, Heating and Plumbing was awesome. I've had an on and off issue with my kitchen sink clogging up several times over the last 5 years and have had non-professional people fixing it. I finally had enough and decided that it was time to get a professional and contacted ABC. Keith knew exactly what to do, what to look for and he fixed the problem. Most importantly, he taught me how to prevent issues and problems from re-occurring in the future and we worked on the issue together. Very thankful for Keith. During this time of COVID-19, he came prepared with booties over his work boots as well as a mask and kept it on the entire time. Thank you so much Keith. I will definitely refer you and your company ABC, if there's anyone looking for a plumber.
Justin was great! Very professional and took his time to explain what was going on with my AC unit and my options. Not the best because I’m going to need a new unit, but he was honest and set me up for an appointment the next day for a free estimate. He also gave me info about their regular heat and AC maintenance service. Got bad news, but very happy with ABC service.
Unbelievably rude and unprofessional client manager. Working with a returnong customer with a check around $900. In 30+ heat I was refused for having a repair. Your technician said that I need to check with my HOA and they could get back to us and refill. When I returned for the fill-in, the manager said they have a mark in their database not to serve our house anymore. I tried (politely and calmly) figure out what does that mark mean and can it be a technical mistake. Wow. I was literally yelled at. Manager raised his voice, repeatedly yelled that I don't let him speak out (I was silently listening by the way) and just hang up. Again, I was super nice and polite thought my hands are still shaking a bit. He never responded to a very reasonable questions like - does the fill in has the same code as a unit repair and is is possible to fill ac without making repairs in this unit (or it's an inseparable process). I'm shocked. No explanations, extremely rude, not a client oriented as well.
After looking over the problem, Steve calculated and gave me an estimate of the work of replacing my garbage disposal and some pipes. He is returning on Monday to do the job. Steve returned on Monday and did a very efficient job of replacing the disposal. He was capable and thorough in completing the job.
I found ABC Plumbing (Hayward) on "Angie's". Checked in online, Got a call and an email within 15 mins. made the appointment. Jason was Awesome (5 stars) EARLY (Unheard of)! Professional, he wore the Mask, shoe covers, Company shirt and was very pleasant. (My wife noticed his professionalism too!). He surveyed the job gave me an estimate(Free). Will use them again.
This is a top-notch company full of professionals that get thre job done in a timely manner without excessive charges. I would highly recommend ABC to anyone in need of heating/cooling needs. You won't be disappointed! Edit...ABC Heating & Cooling does it again!...We spent the 1st summer in our newly renovated home miserable fron the great! So we decided before summer of 2020 rolls around we'd have seen air conditioning unit installed. Well it was a no brainer for us to reach out to ABC once again, since they had done such a great drop undertaking a heater in our rental property. Once again they came through and delivered great, professional service! They were on time, respectful of our home and patient while explaining how to use the unit. I'm very happy with their heating and air conditioning installation. They were very nice and professional and there were no problems at all. Alvaro and Antonio tackled a complex job they where on time and knew exactly what to do by displaying quality work and craftsmanship. Five Star Professionalism❇️❇️❇️❇️❇️
